Maybe I'm just biased, since I was a kid when the Wrestling Buddies were around, but they are much better than the Brawlin Buddies.

I am from that period as well & I gotta believe even kids now would understand the better quality is found in the Tonka Wrestling Buddies of our childhood. They are beyond durable. Plus, their size & "look" can't be matched.

And it's the early 90s version, so it's surfer Sting, not Crow Sting.

They're still in amazing condition & that's with tons of Royal Rumbles we had at sleep overs. I always hold that toy in the highest regard (along with a foam WCW championship belt I got one year at a Slamboree live event). I always tell myself, if I ever talk myself into selling my collection, the Wrestling Buddy & that belt go first, because if they're gone -- there's no turning back (no point to a collection without those 2 pieces).

I had the WCW Sting that talks as well. I still have it! Does anyone know if wrestling buddies were the same size as the WCW talking ones?

Wow this is the coolest one they've done. I like that he's not who I expected to see pop up in this line, cool surprise.
Wrestling Buddies were larger than the WCW talking late 90's guys. Really wish we would have got the Diesel and Bret WBs before the line was axed!

Yes but he says he'd already put down the voices, he doesn't say I did it yesterday or this week or last week, and this interview was the second week of July so it seemed like he'd done it a bit back, so June at least, plus what you think happens? Mattel decide that morning, then they do the voices the same day? If the thing is MOC already surely they've been planned months ago, what Im saying is these were already in production no matter how well the first series had done at retail it seems and im quite surprised the whole set hasn't leaked by now.
