Hi guys, (and gals) thinking of ordering the new 20-0 Taker Plaque but really cautious as to receiving a huge customs charge. Basically sometime last year i made my first and only order ever from WWE shop for a Rock shirt which was $24.99 + shipping. And when it arrived two weeks later i also received a fedex saying we owe £16 in customs and dutys. Now i've seen people on here say if its under £18 not including shipping you won't get one but i did. I honestly think they pick and chose who and what they charge. Really worried if i were to order this i would get hit with like a £60-70 customs fee or more Just wondering if any of you guys had ordered plaques to the UK before and weather you received a large customs fee. Any advice or knowledge on the situation would be greatly appreciated, Cheers guys

Customs are weird things, I've spent well over £18 many times from US sites and not been charged anything, infact I've only ever been charged when its been a massive thing, I.E a poster. I think it more depends on the weight/size of the package than what you spend.

I've been unlucky but I did order a lot from America, stopped now though due to bad experiences.
3 times on 3 1/100 figures, first was a FedEx bill worth £61. Second was a custom of £53, and another custom worth £48. Just bad luck on my part I guess, I've ordered two times from matty collector and not got one but ordered a 11 dollar figure and been hit with a usual £16 one. Kinda pathetic how it's done, but you just need to hope for the best.

The limit changed from £18.00 to £15.00 around April...no idea why your poor Rock shirt got a charge last year though.
It's kinda hit and miss...I see a lot of people online who say they've never been charged, but I've been hit with charges of £11-12.00 on two occasions. One was a shirt (for £16.00...GTFO) and the other was a DVD (just a normal one...not even a massive boxset).
Nowadays I don't bother unless it's definitely under £15.00.

I've bought the last two 'Taker plaques from WWEShop and iirc only had to pay customs for one of them. Was 'only' £20-odd.
If you're a big Undertaker fan like me then it's really worth taking the risk, those plaques won't be sticking around long.
Thanks for posting this by the way, had no idea they had brought these out and thought he wasn't getting one this year.

Anybody else order one of these? Got my order acknowledgement on the 26th August but haven't heard a thing since. Don't know if it's shipped and I just haven't received an email or if things have been delayed?

Haven't heard anything myself
I got it as a gift for my wife as she's expecting our first child in 4 weeks and she's a massive undertaker fan... hoping that means we wont get hit with customs on it

Customs charges seem really hit and miss, you may get lucky.
I've ordered loads of stuff from the USA over the years, and only ever had a customs charge when I ordered the Mattel Elimination Chamber playset last year. Paid £60 for it and got a £27 customs fee.
A couple of months ago I ordered the full Elite 16 set from RSC, which cost me £120 and came in a large box. It was delivered without any customs fees.
Fingers crossed for you.

I ordered mine on 26th August, still processing so just rung them now. Said it's been cancelled. Not happy, no notification or anything. Checked the site almost daily to see when they went on sale so can't of been on more than 2 days when I ordered, don't believe they sold 1000 in that time. Probably didn't send because I ordered two, took the 20% discount and international shipping was only $25. With similar happening last year with the 19-0 and the CM Punk one being a piece of garbage don't think I will ever order anything from them again.

Yet when I got my Ziggler T-Shirt I got a £10 charge
Really doesn't make any sense at all does it?

Good to hear mate, still waiting on mine and haven't received any word back from WWE after getting in touch with them.
Customs charges really are just a case of getting lucky. Never got charged any fees for the plaque from last year but did the year before that. Really hope the import limit increases rather than decreases for a change soon.

Funny thing is, that actually happened to me a couple of years ago. A month after receiving something from the States I had a customs charge arrive in the post. I actually paid it as that was the first time I'd ordered from overseas and I thought that was just how things worked. If that were to happen now though I'd refuse to pay it.

Custom charges usually arrive in the post a week or so after receiving your order. Thats how it's been every time I've had one anyway.
