Well Jones still looked Dominant as hell but Vitor almost had him with that armbar and who knows where the triangle would have gone if there were a few more seconds left in the round.

I saw Jones looking at the clock, I think he felt comfortable getting relaxed in the final moments of the round you're talking.

Props to Vitor stepping up, but what a piss-poor performance, arm bar attempt aside.
Jones has gotta move up next year. Any rematches don't excite me. Perhaps give Jones Hendo or Gus?

Dana said in the post fight press conference Jones messed up his elbow on the armbar, & that Jones heard a pop. To add to it, Jones made a late entrance (because he was getting checked out by doctors) wearing a sling.
Like him or not, you've got to give the guy props for fighting through that for 3 more rounds.

Dana White on those criticizing the Flyweight title fight: "Let me tell you what: If you didn't like that flyweight fight, please, I'm begging you, don't ever buy another UFC pay-per-view again." "Don't ever buy another one. I don't want your money. You’re a moron, you don't like fighting and you don't appreciate great talent or heart if you didn't like that flyweight fight."
Wow, lol. It wasn't a bad fight - but I was a bit disappointed in it... maybe I was expecting too much(?).
Really pleased to see Bisping and Jones get the wins... hopefully (for me anyway) Bisping will get a title-shot, and they can do Jones Vs Hendo somehow.

i wasnt disappointed in mouse/benavidez at all. thats what they do... why should mouse stand there and trade with a stronger guy, when his advantage over everyone in the ufc (except maybe dodson) is his ridiculous speed. and it wasnt like he was moving and doing nothing else, like guida did vs maynard. mouse outlanded benavidez too... i was really into the fight. their work on the ground, as limited in time as it was, was fantastic too.
i had it 48-47 for mighty mouse for the rec... 1, 3 and 5 to mouse, 2 and 4 to benavidez.
bisping looked good vs stann, he took it to him all 3 rounds... aside from the one punch in the 1st round by stann that rocked bisping late, i thought bisping won all 3 rounds. i dont know about an immediate title shot... i wouldnt mind him getting weidman in an eliminator i suppose.

The Flyweight fight wasnt dissapointing at all IMO.
And major props to Jones for fighting three more rounds after possibly injuring his arm. I went apecrap when Vitor got that armbar locked in.....just imagine if all it took was a minute and some change for Vitor to do the impossible and defeat Jones. But Jones is a warrior and still won in dominant fashion. I think after a Hendo fight and possibly Gus if he runs through them its time to move up to heavyweight.

Seriously Dana needs to shut the up and step aside from ever talking about the UFC, I appreciate what he's done for the sport but from all his bashing of the fighters and paying fans he's doing it more harm than good these days. Anyone happy with the results, glad Jones won and professional performance by Bisping, I still think he needs to have a title eliminator with Weidman though.

You think one win over STann means Bisping should get a title shot? LMAFO Seriously, he needs to beat Alan Belcher and then face Weidman should he win his next fight. This was the first top ten fighter Bisping has ever beat and people are ready to give him a title shot, it is bullcrap. Weidman beat two top give fighters in a row.

No way in hell Bisping gets a shot after that.....He needs to fight Belcher or Weidman before he can get a shot IMO.

Well you know what, I won't ever buy another UFC PPV. I'll go to friends houses or BW3 for cards that don't have the midgets that want to dance around. Considering Dana's the biggest critic in the world for women's MMA, maybe he should get a reality check.. Ronda Rousey has finished every fight she's been in, in dominating fashion, in the first round. These two high school kid looking s danced around for 5 rounds and barely touched each other. Their own little strike counter tells the story of it. 80 punches from Benavidez, 110 from Johnson, IN TWENTY FIVE MINUTES! This is total strikes landed! Pretty sure Matt Hammil threw more than 80 punches in one round. Go yourself, Dana. You're the biggest problem with MMA today

After that we will get finishes, I am also hoping that Jimy Hettes moves down to 125. Though I don't see how.

You sound like one of those immature douchebags that only watches MMA to see someone get knocked out or have their arm broken.

You're the biggest problem with MMA today To be fair though, you gotta have an open mind when watching the flyweights. They're VERY fast and for the most part you wont see a guy go down from just "clipping" his opponent. As Rogan harped on through the night, the technique level is through the roof with these guys because they're so small were rarely able to rely on power. Hamill threw all those punches in the first round and could barely hold his arms up for the rest of the fight. Sure it was (kinda) exciting, but I'd rather see two guys exude technicality in a title fight than watch out of shape 205-ers gas out in the first round. That's just me. The people booing that fight are what's wrong with MMA. They didn't see a bunch of blood or a simulated bar fight so they were instantly disappointed when they forced to have to think about what they were watching. As an MMA fan, you gotta learn to appreciate ALL aspects of the game.

I'm honestly still trying to make sense of the Olivera knockout. Did he just get hit too hard and quit or what?

There's definitely a case for Weidman... I just think Bisping is one of the few "names" in the MW division that has been fighting at or near top level for years, that Anderson hasn't fought... he's won 5 of his last 6 fights - and a lot of people thought he beat Sonnen too. I'll admit, I am ridiculously biased though... I would LOVE them to do a title-fight over here and get the chance to see it/Anderson live.
