thespecialone is obsessed with turning us all into Portuguese football buffs lol. I respect the opinion, I just dont agree they have a given right to be ahead of massive clubs just because they've been in the compeition more recently.

Because Braga was on Uefa cup final 2 years ago? Because the year before that they got into Champions league after defeating Celtic and Sevilla? Fair enough.Because on group stage that year they beat Arsenal? Arsenal also won 6-0 against Braga in that group and Braga were eliminated from the group stage. Shaktar beat Arsenal too, as have other teams in recent years such as Olympiakos. Because i dont remember the last time PSG and Dortmund did any of that? Dortmund have won the Champions League in the past 15 years, and both have been in the Champions League a lot more consistently than Braga in the past. The German league is also much stronger than the Portugese.Because last year A brit team played them twice on Europa league (Birmingham) and lost both of them? Birmingham are not even a top division English club.I wouldn't expect a reply from him now you've mopped the floor with him. Barcelona will get a group like Braga, Olympiakos & FC Nordsjaelland. It's always the same. You guys should start watching more football. Did you see them against Udinese? Funny how for most brit fans whatever team that comes from either Portugal Greece or Holland are complete gargabe. And then things like PAOK happen... Braga are by the worst team in pot 2 hence why I picked them. Then again you are bias towards Portuguese football. I expect you think Academica will go far in the Europa League too?

www.uefa.com/memberassociations/uefarankings/country/index.htmlAnd why not Academica? Here are some stats...i know you guys like this kind of stuff Conclusion from these 2 videos? Impossible is nothing... Im not saying we have the best teams in the world (we are from that) but considering its a country with less inhabitants than London then i think we dont do that bad. Himmy i respect your opinion too and i actually think you are one of the most reasonable guys on thie forum. I just wanted to make a few points. Birmingham is not a top english team? Well Braga is like the 7th biggest club in Portugal... Benfica, Porto, Sporting, Guimarães, Maritimo Funchal, Boavista (even though they were relegated due to a huge debt) are bigger clubs than Braga. Actually i remember that on Portuguese TV they said that 8 Birmigham players wages could play an entire month of Braga's squad. I really believe that in Portugal the managers do true miracles considering so little money and sources they have. Some stats: -Only 2 English teams have more Champions leagues than Benfica and Porto. -Portugal has won 4 and France only did one. -Benfica has been on 7 finals only 1 less than all Dutch teams combined. -Benfica has been on as much finals as Barcelona, Liverpool and Juventus. More than Man Utd (less trophys though), Inter, Chelsea, Ajax, Arsenal and the list goes on. -Porto won Uefa cup and Champions league on 2 years in a row. Im not sure about this but i think its a record.

Not all people around here are illiterate. Not at all. Probably just sick of your biased rambling. Like Himmy said all i said was my opinion. And posted some facts. You probably find it hard to hear those. Or maybe it's just because its a foreign opinion... Some people find it hard to hear those too.

Wow, videos of defeats in a pre-season. I'm ing gutted. That same Amsterdam tournament we beat Atletico Madrid who would later win the Europa Cup and featured Sergio Aguero & Diego Forlan, must mean we are one of the best in Europe tbh.

Absolute classic tonight between Real Madrid and Manchester City. definitely...i was cursing ITV as they always seem to get boring matches as the Montpellier/Arsenal match seemed more exciting... by the end of it, i was that engrossed in the match, i forgot i had to pick my gf up from work! she wasnt happy with my reason why i was late...
