sorry for some of the blurriness,but here are some of my latest works.... The Russian Assassins  my repainted Steiner Brothers  Ox Baker  Wild Fire Tommy Rich  Kevin & Kerry Von Erich  The Twin Towers ( OMG & Boss Man )  Brad Armstrong & Yoshi Kwan  The New Sky Scrappers ( Mean Mark Callous & Dangerous Dan Spivey )  Mikola from The Lost World of The Warlords  my 1993 ish Yokozuna... after some tinkering this is the one i am most happy with...  top half, a mattel yoko ( with the neck shaved down a bit ) and big show type arms with normal jakks hands  bottom half a jakks yoko  Kamala  Kamala cs head, the pop belly umaga torso and arms with different hands  and a custom paint job to get everything to match skin wise  The Yellow Rose of Texas, David Von Erich  the brothers together  there arch rivals the freebirds 1989 version    Sato and Tanaka The Orient Exspress  The blood thirsty Sheepherders  Fat is where its at! Tug Boat and the heavy rap master P.N. News  The debut Undertaker! head,hands and boots are off the mattel figure   LJN ish Jake Roberts.... ( legs have been extended a little to give that lanky long legged look he had and to boost his hight slightly.)  Jake: "Whos side are you on man? huh!?"  Undertaker: " Not yours...." |

LOTS of fun stuff there, Smash! My favorites are Brad Armstrong (great head choice) and Yoshi Kwan! Does Yoshi have the top knot?

Looks good, Smash! I always enjoy customs of NWA guys - even those pesky midcarders - Lol! I've got a few of those currently in the works myself - seeing yours may inspire me to get off my a$$ and finish them.
How about a "Flagbearer" Johnny Ace for your Sheepherders? Just think about it, man.

Hey guys. I've recently decided to convert my TNA collection back to RA style and wanted to get some opinions on part choices for fixups. These are all going to be paintless BTW. I'm not going for total accuracy but I would like to get close. I want to give torso cracking a shot but I'm not sure if I can do it right now. Anyway, here is who I am looking to do:
- Samoa Joe: Currently I have a DI5 Samoa Joe head and hands on a Harry Smith body with tall black kickers. He has shorts, but he's way too skinny and he's gigantic. I was thinking of maybe a Tatanka body, but how would I give him shorts?
- Matt Morgan: I have a DI Matt Morgan, so I have a head and arms. Don't know what to do for the body. I was thinking of giving him Big Show legs for height. Totally lost after that.
- James Storm: I was thinking a flabby torso like Regal or Flair but what should I use for the arms and boots?
- Bobby Roode: Not sure what torso to use for this. I have the long haired head but I would like to modify it to give him shorter hair.
- Austin Aries: I'm going to use the RSC exclusive head and maybe the arms but I don't know what else to use. I was thinking of giving him one of those super ripped torsos but I'm not sure.

Thanks. Hadn't thought of Finlay legs. I actually have an extra Finlay too.
For Aries, I noticed he's been looking pretty jacked lately. Would a super ripped torso be bad?

It may just be because of the pic quality, but that Scott Steiner looks like it has an enlarged galoob head on it.

Wow, john, those look great! You nailed those likenesses and attire. That Brody looks much better, is he taller? I can't put my finger on it, maybe it's just the little things, vest, boots, etc. And Abby look 100 times better! The Madman from the Sudan has never looked better!
I can't picture Steve O in my mind, I had to do a quick Google search on him, lol. I really like his jacket attire. In fact I enjoy all your figures that have multiple attires, I don't think anyone else does that, very unique!
Those enlarged mattel LOD heads turned out great, I might need a copy of that Ellering head!

Yes Wars Brody is taller. I spliced some legs together on him and Nord to make them taller so all figs are in sclae.

It may just be because of the pic quality, but that Scott Steiner looks like it has an enlarged galoob head on it. you mean me man? yeah it is a enlarged head of the galoob scott steiner thats also why i put him in the gear he has on...only extra is mine has black knee pads Big Evil John sold me that awesome galoob resized head i just had to paint it Big John, my lord man those are amazing!!!!!!!!!! i have to say i am digging thoe heads also and have to decide which ones ill want to add to my list when your feeling better and i place my next order... after seeing that john nord head im not sure if i want the cast you do of the ljn herclues or if that nord head would look good for the short hair version of him... really solid job on all brother! this part of the jakks board is really cool now |
