thanks man the kid is on a jakks r3 tech body..next to ra scale he looks about right to me when matched against guys like razor ramon...

Here are a couple of older customs from a long time ago. Please note that since then, my "skills" have improved tremendously - and so has my choice of available parts - Lol!


My first exposure to Japanese "garbage wrestling" was Matsunaga being lit on fire and thrown off a balcony in FMW. The only figure I had at the time to create "Mr. Danger" was a Taijiri (with a sculpted, new 'do).


The only thing cooler than seeing someone lit on fire and thrown off a balcony is seeing it done by someone dressed as Leatherface. FMW's Super Leather was a Paul Bearer head with sculpted mask and dreadlocks. The torso was a CSTT4 Sgt. Slaughter. The pants may have been from a Paulie figure from the Rocky line.

Bigevil, a quick note: Leatherface/Super Leather is actually Mike Kirchner (WWF's Cpl. Kirchner so many years ago!). He worked in FMW as Leatherface, but got in a bar fight and spent time in jail, so the Leatherface gimmick was given to another guy until he got out. He then worked as Super Leather, and was actually working occasional shots as of 2007 still with the Leatherface gimmick on some shows ran by the Insane Clown Posse.

If you guys remember, a few weeks ago I asked for some tips on turning my TNA collection into RI style. Here's what I've come up with. Keep in mind that that I am going to paintless. I am also looking more for something serviceable than something visually great.

Big Show: I know he not a TNA guy but he's part of my fed. The biggest change to this was the hands and adding a Mattel singlet.


James Storm: This was a Triple H with Roadwarrior Hawk arms, black taped fists and Kane boots.


Samoa Joe: I went for his look with the looser shorts. It's a Tatanka body and boots, with a Tank Abbot lower body, DH Smith arms, and each hand is from a different Samoa Joe figure.


Hulk Hogans: The first is a street gear version. It's a Scott Steiner body with DI4 Hogan arms and head. I'm waiting on a better shirt. The second is a 2 pack Hogan (the one that came with HBK) with DI2 Hogan arms and head.



RVD: I just added taller boots so he didn't look like a midget compare to everyone else.


Kurt Angle: It's a LOTR Angle with the DI6 head.


Stevie Richards: This was a Billy Kidman body with Cody Rhodes boots and Stevie hands and head.


Bobby Roode: This is a Randy Orton body. I used goof off to get rid of the tattoos and Orton logo in the back. I kept the side designs so it looks a little fancy. I have an extra head that I'm waiting on and I'm gonna experiment with giving him short hair.


Bully Ray: It was a Ballz Mahoney body with Bubba Dudley boots and random arms.


Desmond Wolfe: I went for a commentator look with this since I couldn't think of a body to use.


AJ Styles: This is a CS Jericho with X-Pac boots and DI Sting hands.


Sting: This is an Undertaker body with the tattoos acetoned off. He has DI Sting hands and the lower legs are from Kevin Nash for that tights over the boots look.


Kazarian: I know the stintones are way off but it doesn't bother me. It's a Kenny Dykstra body.


Matt Morgan: This is a Batista body with Big Show boots and DI Morgan arms and head. I acetoned most of the tattoos and the front logo. I left his back tattoo since Morgan does have a big tattoo on his back.


Here's a sneak peek at Austin Aries. I'm going to use the RSC exclusive head and arms, and acetone off the Orton tattoos.

Thanks. I'm actually using goof off now. I heard it was better than acetone so I decided to give it a try. I think I actually like acetone better. the goof off seems to leave the joints sticky.

Love the TNA figures, baba. Excellent ideas for doing no paint.
