I'd be lying if I said I remembered all of them individually, even though I owned them all. I can say that WWE 12 tops the list for me, and SVR 08 is dead last in my book.

All I know is that HCTP and SYM are my favorites. It gets too murky after that for me to order them with any confidence. SvR08 comes last, though.  that game. |

Those are all the ones I've played at least. Was never really the biggest HCTP fan aside from the Hardcore matches and roster. It'd be lower if 2009 and 2008 weren't so horrible.

Off topic can someone tell me why SVR 08 is so bad? To me its not a bad game. It is really flawed (short roster & GM mode getting nerfed, fighting styles limiting movesets) but once you can get past those issues, SvR 2008 is decent. (At least it has more replay value than Smackdown vs RAW 2009 at least IMO) |

Off topic can someone tell me why SVR 08 is so bad? Well, first and foremost: 24/7 Mode. Other things that made it as bad as it was were its incredibly small roster, which was missing both sets of current tag team champions (the HooliganZ and the Spirit Squad). I'm pretty sure they had Rey and Batista as the default Tag Team Champions, and they hadn't held the titles since 2005. Then come the movesets. This was the year they introduced the whole ability thing, only it was originally called 'fighting styles:' a potentially good idea gone horrible awry that crippled everyone's movesets by only allowing you to select from a small number of moves that pertained to each style. So with the gameplay, overall roster, and main story mode taking a huge hit, that's why this game has the reputation it has. The only real positives to come from it were the inclusion of ECW, the ability to use custom soundtracks for theme music, and the weapon wheel. |
