Check your spelling... The painting looks choppy because the lighting. Regarding the "super gloss" you're incorrect. It was coated with a SATIN finish then a UV Resistant MATTE. No gloss. Anyways, thank you for your opinion. Can I see some of your work? I'd love to observe your techniques, oh great da Vinci. Maybe take a couple notes... !/pages/Killa-J-Customs/173373749396792 havnt customized in over a year, the horror work is my latest last figure i did was the wolfman (last june) Checked out your work. Don't have enough time to comment/ critique. Over all, not bad. Sculpting is a little clumpy while the paints are slightly too pastel. Lacks micro-detailing i.e. detail that can only be appreciated if examined underneath a magnifying glass. Using JAKKS figures hinder your ability due to their awkward proportioned and generalized body types. Every frame and build looks identical. Your Chucky is about as tall as your Evil Ash and Freddie. Experiment using other base figures for better results. Thanks for sharing. |

i like it alot but the face just looks too good to be on a mattel figure like you would have all your other cartoony figures and then a life like kane lol this means it's good

I was merely showcasing my finished work. This is my second custom figure. There's always room for improvement. ...and the detail wasn't only seen under a microscope but FULLY APPRECIATED up close. Personally, I feel that the positives aspects of the new Kane greatly outweigh the negatives and, in my opinion, deserve more attention than they are getting.
First and foremost, the mask. I have never seen a Kane custom with a more detailed mask than both of Blake's resurrected Kane figures. He used the same head on both figures, but managed to achieve two looks that aren't even remotely similar. He captured the essence of both masks beautifully. I also can't help but to notice that RED paint was used around Kane's eyes on the new figure. That's what I call, "attention to detail." While on the topic of the head, how about the unique head choice?! Blake didn't just go the most convenient route and choose a preexisting Kane head. He researched more than 100 possibilities before settling on the Sam Worthington head. To my knowledge, no one used that head for a Kane figure before Blake did. Not only are Blake's Kane figures accurate, they are original and that goes a long way in my book.
The tank top was SCULPTED onto the torso, not simply painted on. It also noteworthy that the red stitches are accurate to Kane's actual costume. It looks like nearly every one if not all of the red stitch designs are included. If so, this is the first time I've ever seen that kind of attention paid to detail on a current Kane. Kane's current attire sports a very complex pattern of stitch designs and for an artist to sit down and get it right on his FIRST attempt at the attire speaks volumes about his dedication to his work.
Say what you want about the "glossy" appearance of the new Kane, but TAVG, I challenge you or anyone else to show me a better attempt at Kane's current attire. It does not exist.
