always wanted a Toybiz Luger in trunks.why was he always in pants?
The Ring Masters luger was the best Luger that Toybiz done....if only he had been in trunks.

I typed in hogan flair and checked completed auctions and scrolled through 2 pages and found multiple auctions. But yeah... "keywords"....  |

I think his point is as well as some others here that collectors who would be looking for these & know what they are would be placing wcw main event in the search criteria & aren't finding them. I sometimes will just use generic search terms like hogan flair & scroll through hoping to find things. That's when you come across deals like you have been able to find. |

I had that two pack, was a great set, and that still might be my favorite Ric Flair figure of all time.. the playability was spot on for Flair.

I was so close to buying the Flair/ Hogan Main Event set on several occasions when those were in stores. However, the strange choice of putting Hogan in the yellow and red with sunglasses, weight belt, and gloves prevented me from ever making the purchase. I mean, I know it's just a repaint of a Hollywood Hogan figure, but the fact remains that it looked very odd to me. I'd have thought they could at least put a different set of arms and trunks on him. Nice sets to find, nonetheless. I do really like that Sting and Luger set. |

All this would have needed was a head swap with the clash of the champions hogan repainted yellow of course & gloveless hands. The rest of the figure does capture the look he was in for the time. Overall, a flair hogan two pack was epic. Only one they ever did & only flair's 2nd figure. I would have done a robe for him as well but at least he's not a tan mess with his hands frozen on his hips. Sting Luger couldn't have asked for anything more IMO. A Luger in trunks. The only accurate one. The powerslam sting was the best sting Toybiz did. Take that & package it with a better trenchcoat than the smash n slam & add a bat. Nothing more to add other than gloved hands but awesome nonetheless. The fact that belts & accessories come with these too put it over the top for me. I even like the photo packaging as well. |

Luger did come in trunks on the Grip N Flip 2 pack, but for actual regular figures, no.

Wow! That hart/ Luger is pretty rare. Pretty cool too. Just like the Steiner ones. Only Scott Steiner with short trunks. Too bad the TNT Scott wasn't like that. Do you have that as well?

I know how it is, I find new Toybiz stuff every month or so. I think I am getting close to finishing off the line and another piece pops up. I just pulled the trigger on one tonight that I knew was out there, I just didn't think the price was right.

I found a Goldberg MOC/MIB a while ago and several months later found the same seller had a Red and Black Sting version on another site. It was higher priced and she would not come off her price. I let it sit for several months hoping to see another come up cheaper, but it never has. I finally bought it.
