The problem is that those are recent. the story with Scott hall is rather recent.

Forget the drug addictions. Didn't Hall say un an E12 interview that he killed someone? That's quite a difference than those listed drug addictions. This is exactly the reason...and its a reason that has been brought up time after time after time after time after time. I dont understand why people dont read and cant understand it. It has nothing to do with drugs, rehab or what he's been through recent. It all comes down to the fact that he admitted on national television that he killed a man. Self defense or not, he killed someone. He was in a bad situation and a bad place and it got worse and he killed a man. PERIOD!!

If Hall didn't kill that man in self defense mind you. Theres a good chance that it would have been Hall that would have been killed. He was a bar bouncer..and a guy was acting up pulled a gun on Hall..him and Hall wrestled around for a bit Hall got the gun and did what he had to do..or it would have been him.

I have to say, the MDT often pisses me off with the dickish responses. Starting with the "Legends sales are terrible, you have to actually BUY the figures" response, numerous others. Now, after weeks of silence, "ugh, not this again" is all they can muster? You might as well not even say anything. Its not like someone came out and said "Mattel, why is there no Scott Hall?" for the 1500th time. We know the reason, many (myself included) find it to be bull$#!t. This is a forum where we have discussions. If you have a problem with the discussion, nobody is forcing you to click the link. Mods, who take a lot of liberties, included. There has been a crap load of dickish behavior, always related to differences of opinion. "Not another hair thread", "Not this again". Shut the hell up and let us discuss.

Mattel treats us with such disrespect most of the time. To say "Ugh...this again" when it's been 3 years and we still have Elites with loose ankles and ink stains, they should be thankful WE are sticking with THEM, not the other way around. It's amazing, we can shoot little robots up to Mars, but in 3 years Mattel can't figure out how to fix action figure ankles or prevent ink stains. Until they fix that stuff, they need to can it with their rudeness. We have the right to ask whatever questions we want. If they don't want to answer it, then just don't type anything instead of being condescending.

Some people just don't get it. Its like the fools that hang on to the slightest hope of Mattel making a Benoit figure. MDT have said time and time again that there won't be a Scott Hall figure. If people would finally realise that and stop making stupid threads like this then MDT won't make comments like the one above. Personally, I found that comment hilarious.

If Scott Hall killing a man is the real reason they won't make a figure of him, then why did they make a Kerry Von Erich figure? He killed someone with a gun too. Yes, I know it was himself. I can understand Mattel looking out for their image and being concerned about some person or group throwing a fit about a Hall figure. But if you think about it, if the shooting is the real reason, wouldn't that basically be saying shooting someone in self defense is wrong, but killing yourself is an ok thing to do. I mean no disrespect to the memory of Kerry or his family. I thankfully survived my suicide attempt. I also mean no ill will towards Mattel. I just happened to be watching Kerry vs Flair when I read this and the thought crossed my mind.

Former drug addict Has been suspended for drugs Multiple drug suspensions...2 strikes Former (current?) drug addict, did crack on camera in a movie. Suspended for drugs this summer...2 strikes Suspended for drugs this summer...2 strikes Has been suspended for drugs DUI Arrested for beating how many of his ex-wives? Killed a woman Killed somebody Long term jail sentence (10 years?) Armed robbery, long term jail sentence..also suspended for drugs Died from cocaine overdose Geez, where do I begin.... I dunno but I think a lot of these people are either as bad or worse than Scott Hall who accidentally killed a guy who was trying to kill him first.

^^^^Great post Lorenzo:) I've said it before a few times but this hopefully gets through to the people who think anything Hall has done disqualifies him from getting a fig made. Plenty of non choir boys on the list here and there are more. Was anybody trying to shut down or boycott Mattel or WWE over these fine upstanding citizens having figures made? No. Whatever the WWE's/Mattel's reasons are, it shouldn't be drugs or killing someone in self defense...Mike Tyson, convicted rapist (I'm not saying he did it, mind you) that just went in the Hall of Fame and is featured in the new video game, thinks that's a bit ridiculous. I don't see why they couldn't get past it eventually and get this done.

Give it up already, MDT have already said there won't be a Scott Hall figure. You're not going to change their mind with your desperate pics and captions...

I was thinking the same thing. Im sure the real reason Razor isnt being made is because he isnt under a legends contract. Mattel wants to make all the guys that are already under contract before they even think about looking for the talent on their own. Something JAKKS never had a problem doing.

Forgetting, of course, the OP telling Mattel that the reason they have stated for not making the figure is the reason is total B.S. You set the tone of the entire thread when you say that and this rant about his past not being the real reason for them not making a figure when it is the real reason has been beaten into the ground by the OP in many different threads. I bet MDT would love to make a figure of Scott Hall, but he is blacklisted. End of story. Mattel doesn't have the final say in who gets made. As far as their one sentence answers, it's called not mincing words. They come on here and post a statement as long as the one, say, that I'm typing and people are just going to come in here and analyze it to death and then misinterpret it and then spread it around and then next thing you know we'll have a thread like 'I seem to remember them saying the Legends line would be back in 2013 with Scott Hall in the first wave..." or some other bunk. You guys that have been here a while know it's true. So just imagine if you had a conversation with somebody who said, "What's the real reason that babies are concieved, and don't you dare say sex!!?", and it wasn't the first time this had come up, wouldn't you shake your head and go 'Ugh, not this again?'

I wonder if Mattel will make a elite OJ Simpson, Exclusive Charles Manson, FlashBack Hitler, and a two pack with Osama Bin Laden and Saddam Hussein. Accord to MDT logic, these guys have better chances than Scott Hall.
