Pacman Jones was terrible, I agree. If Mo even does an arm drag, he will have already done more than Jones lol Also, who the is Jesse? I think that was his name? I swear, TNA will spend money on celebs, if you wanna even call them that, that no one gives a crap about. That's one of their big problems. But they have a history of it I guess. I remember the days of Jonny Fairplay... You must of missed my post when it happened, but 'Jesse' was signed a year ago to a wrestling contract. I assume he's been training as a wrestler, so he's probably as good as Robbie T... Yeah, he's been in OVW. Doesn't mean they aren't grasping at straws with it though.

Aries deserved it more but Hardy winning make the BFG Series actually mean something. If he lost that would leave the two people that won The Series with losses. I say he wins it back next month or in December. And they can throw Roode into the mix now that Aries isn't champ anymore. Maybe Storm too.

the fact that they're going to screw aries by talking the title off him and put it on that career screw up to make him happy/to encourage him to stay make me sick. . God it feels so good to be right

Didn't watch the ppv was it good or even worth watching? No, Aries lost. Hardys my favorite wrestler so I'm cool with that.

Ironically last time I saw Jessie wrestle.....his manager was Jonny Fairplay. He didn't just start wrestling.
When I saw him....it was on this indy fed that I get on local TV. WFX. I think its in Canada. He was in a feud w/ Bushwacker Luke & Eugene. This was back in 2010

I watched the PPV. I liked the PPV. -Great opener between Ion and RVD, shocked RVD won the belt TBH 8/10' -The TV Title was good as well 7/10 -Surprised the street fight was on that early, loved it! Complete blood bath and it looked like James Storm bladed too deep 10/10 -I kinda knew Joey Ryan was gonna win in a bullcrap win, surprised Morgan returned. Also, LOL on the fans chanting you still got it 2 minutes into the match 6.5/10 -The tag team match was great. I was scared for Kazarian for the bump he took during the botched hurracanrana on Hernandez. I actually liked that Chavo and Hernandez won, even though I wanted the WTTCOTW to retain 8/10 -The Knockouts match was ok in my book. LOL on the Hollywood boyfriend being OVW wrestler Jessie Godderz 6/10 -The Aces and 8s match was great. I loved that they added the No DQ stipulation to the match. I was liking where this was going, up until they revealed that Devon was the man in charge of Aces & 8s. The reason for not liking it was not because it was something I couldn't predict because I'd preferred a surprise, but why Devon? 7.5/10 -The main event was my second favorite match on the night. I didn't know who to root for because I liked both guys. I can't say I'm surprised Hardy won the belt. I made sense to me, but I'd preferred Aries to retain the belt tonight. 10/10
Overall, I give this PPV an 8/10

But the BFG Series winner just won, so surely they should both loose? Also, I just read that Devon isn't the leader of aces and eights. He's just a guy who cost TNA the right to have them enter the impact zone.

Wow boy did TNA screw up tonight. Devon is back. I mean really? Devon is the only guy that can compete on the horrible list with Garrett. They should have paid him to go to the competition and do his best. His best is horrible. Aries should have won or atleast had it been a back and forth match where it took all they both had.
I like the way they Morgan and I am fine with RVD being the X-D champ. I am glad about the tag champs accept they suck. I just don't like anything Daniels more. Storm vs. Roode sounds good.
It just sounds like an average TNA show with one or two great matches and some of the worst storyline booking from TNA in months. They were doing so good and now through it down the toilet.

This seemed pretty clear cut to me. I mentioned before they left the door wide open for the "puppet master" reveal. As much as I hate it, it feels so much like Bischoff. With Devon and his connection with Garrett and Bischoff was basically run off TV and has the motivation, plus the biker connection, and there is just too much pointing at him. It originally felt like Jarrett 100%, and maybe it's both, but it has to be one of those two guys behind the plan. They would have to bring in an entirely new authority figure for it to be someone else and given TNA's history they are far more likely to go back to what they know.

It even looked like Eric Bischoff in that scene where the Aces and Eights leader was laying down the challenge for the tag match. Talked the same as well.

I'm quite content with having missed this PPV. Nothing good really came out of it. TNA did nothing to grow with it. All they did was:
- Kill Aries' momentum on their "biggest show of the year," putting over a retread instead of a young talent - Kill more young talent and the X-Division by giving the title to RVD - Take the title away from Brooke again for no reason (admittedly, this is just cause I like her. I really have no problem with Tara, although she is older as well) - Give us a stupid pay-off to a horribly drawn out storyline in the Aces*
TNA needs to learn that it is still growing, and it won't have these older superstars forever. It needs to build young talent -- the same way that WWE does. Much like my #1 gripe about WWE, TNA needs to make everyone matter. Putting over the same people over and over gets them no where.
*As for the Aces, this storyline has been hamstringing TNA programming for the past two months. They should have given us something, anything at the last pay-per-view. Seriously, they have given me NO reason to even consider them a threat. All they are is a nuisance. They kidnapped Joseph Park, but nobody on the roster really even seems to like him (nor is this character established enough for me as a fan to even care). This storyline has literally made me skip TNA for the past few weeks after highly enjoying it leading into No Surrender. And we finally get a payoff on it, and it's... Devon.
The fans do not care about Devon. They simply don't. He has a flat character, no charisma. The only one disappointed when he left was Hogan, apparently. The argument that "it could have been worse" is not an argument at all. The argument that "you weren't expecting it" is not an argument at all. This flat out doesn't make sense. Devon has not ever been a leader of men (Deacon Batista not withstanding). He was always the one to "get the tables" even. As a fan, I simply do not care about Devon, and if these guys are following him, I don't care about them either. This was surprise for surprise's sake, not for the sake of actually producing a compelling storyline.
I'll give it some time, but I am not at all optimistic.

Devon is not the leader.. on Aces's twitter their latest post only reads
"Good job prospect."
Devon was just the one who was letting them into the impact zone the whole time, thats what he ment by it was me the whole time...
basically if anyone knows about motorcycle clubs,.. devon pretty much earned his patch tonight. to become a prospect
Aces & Eights @theacesand8s
Good job Prospect.
