Devon is not the leader.. on Aces's twitter their latest post only reads "Good job prospect." Devon was just the one who was letting them into the impact zone the whole time. Then, why didn't they reveal Devon at No Surrender and the leader at BFG? Why is this stupid-ass storyline being drawn out EVEN MORE?

I just got back from my friend's house. This was my first TNA PPV btw. Here is what I thought of each match with a rating [that is probably too nice for some].. Ion/RVD was better than I thought it would be. I was shocked and sad that Ion lost the belt though since he is one of my favorites however I expect him to win it back a couple months before Sorrenson is cleared to come back since it makes most sense given their history. I'd say the match would get an 83/100. The TV Title match was decent. Nothing too special. I would go with something like 74/100. The best match of the night for me was Storm/Roode. I really enjoyed this street fight. Tons of blood too. My rating would be a 92/100. The Joey Ryan vs Al Snow match was pretty slow and uneventful for me. It picked up toward the end but for me it was one of the weaker matches. Matt Morgan's outside help for Ryan was random. I'd say it gets a 62/100. The tag title match was not my favorite. I wanted to like it a lot but I knew it would be a hard since I dislike triple threat tag matches where only 2 people can be in them at a time.. It took a little while to entertain me too and there were some botch issues. The wrong people won imo. I just hate how they act like Chavo is as good as Eddie.. He is not and he will never be so stop acting like it. A score of 75/100 is me being nice. The Knockout's Title Match of Tessmacher defending against Tara was something I was looking forward to most tonight. I don't think it was that good. I guess it was better than the previous month's PPV match but for being BFG it should have been better. I also think these two were a little off their game. For me it seems Tessmacher can only have a really good match with Gail which is odd since her and Tara are so close in real life.. I didn't expect Tara to win but I am glad since I don't care for Tessmacher. Jessie from Big Brother 10/11 being her BF is something I was expecting. I don't really care about him being with Tara I just want her to hold onto her belt for a while. 73/100 for the women. The Aces and 8's tag match versus Sting and Bully Ray was just bad.. I just didn't care for it and it was over in like 10 minutes.. For being one of the biggest feuds of the PPV you would think they would have a 20 minute match... The after match reveal was just stupid too.. Devon... Really?! that. 60/100 is me being really nice... After the horrible Aces and 8's tag match the main event of Aries vs Hardy was up. I was really looking forward to this match and it didn't disappoint I just felt like the wrong person won. Lots of near falls and the match actually went 25 or so minutes I just wish Aries would have got the win. He deserved more than a 2 month reign and I just feel this win for Jeff Hardy is a ploy to get him to sign a contract.. Unless it is 100% certain he is going to re-sign I would not give a belt to someone I thought was leaving in the next 5 months.. We'll see if Jeff sticks around but I think Aries should get another reign next year. I would give this match an 88/100. Averaging all of my scores up to get my overall rating for TNA Bound For Glory 2012 gives me this score: 75.875/100. I guess it isn't that bad but I was expecting the triple threat Tag Title match, the KO's Title match, as well as the Aces and 8's tag match to be better which would have increased the overall rating by a lot. I had little hope for Ryan/Snow and the rest of them pulled their weight so yeah.. I don't think my friends and I will chip in for many TNA PPVs in the future [we mainly do the big WWE PPVs] but this PPV was decent overall.

To be fair, he did say "it was me all along!" which sounds like he was behind it all.

I think that 'Smurf' is wrong. They killed Aries's momentum as soon as he won the title.

This PPV disgusted me. Hardy going over Aries was such a mistake. Yeah Hardy sells but Aries had alot of momentum IMO and was only going to get better. And all we get from the A&8s is Devon......come on.

on your biggest show of the year once again we had many concerning booking decisions by TNA as ONCE AGAIN all the ex-WWE talent got put over the TNA/indy guys

the fact that they're going to screw aries by talking the title off him and put it on that career screw up to make him happy/to encourage him to stay make me sick. . God it feels so good to be right Yeah, but what about this? bully ray turning on sting is so obvious that ray charles could see it coming. Does it feel good to be wrong as well?

I think that 'Smurf' is wrong. They killed Aries's momentum as soon as he won the title. That makes zero sense whatsoever. Yes, poor booking slowed his momentum. But the point I was trying to make was that TNA has consistently put over guys who don't need to be put over. Their strategy is completely ass backwards when it comes to growth. Jeff Hardy. Bully Ray. Rob Van Dam. These guys are already over with the crowd. If TNA wants to grow, they need to build more stars. A WWE fan who tunes in to TNA for the first time last night doesn't come away thinking "wow! I was really impressed with Aries!", etc. They think "oh, the guys I remember being mid-carders in WWE are the best guys this company has to offer." This has been TNA's problem for YEARS. Putting the title on Bobby Roode, James Storm, and Aries was a breath of fresh air. Giving the belt to Hardy (and RVD) was a step backwards.

This PPV was excellent. I do also wonder why Devon wasn't revealed on Impact one night and the leader at BFG.
Everything else besides this, I am 100% in agreement with. It was something like out of the Attitude Era.
I hope they implement a couple other stories with the same depth as the Aces story line going forward.
The more I think about it, the more I'm okay with the Devon reveal. It's a swerve but not a cheap swerve. It branches the story off into a bunch of different places and helps Bully's character the most imo which will unfold going forward.
8/10

With all the bitching about the Devon reveal and Jeff winning, I don't think enough has been said about James Storm vs. Bobby Roode. That is easily the best match in TNA this year, and a candidate for MOTY period. Amazing match.
