My storyline idea would start at WrestleMania 29 with the WWE Championship being defended at WrestleMania 29 in a Triple-Threat Match between CM Punk who walks into the PPV as champion, The Rock who is inserted into this match and John Cena who wins the Royal Rumble Match for the 2nd time in his career setting up Punk vs Rock vs Cena and Punk being heel would turn face, sort of would be like a double turn a la Austin and Bret WM 13 with John Cena turning heel after the match is said and done, Rock ends up winning the WWE Title only for John Cena to attack The Rock right after he wins the title, like I am talking Cena full on destroys CM Punk first and then afterwards turns his attention to The Rock as they tease a handshake and Rock sticks his hand out only for Cena to grab Rock's hand and give him the Attitude Adjustment and then afterwards Cena ends up destroying The Rock and everyone is in shock including the little kids who are all Cena's fans can't believe it and neither can anyone else as Cena is booed out of MetLife Stadium but Cena doesn't care and instead he plays it up to the crowd by doing his You Can't See Me Taunt taunting the whole crowd as he ends up spitting on The Rock who is down in a heap and he ends up taunting Punk who is also down
Then the next night after Mania 29, April 8 on RAW, Cena cuts a heel promo by saying how he didn't turn his back on the WWE Universe and that it was the WWE Universe that turned their backs on him and that for as long as he can remember, they have always booed him and that before it didn't bother him but instead now the boos he doesn't care what the WWE Universe thinks of him now and that he is all about one person now and that is John Cena and that the Cenation is dead because he has officially killed it, and that he has been wanting to do this for a long time now, and that all the fans have done is hold him back but now he is the one in control and that after what he did to both CM Punk and The Rock, he is coming for that WWE Championship and it doesn't matter who he has to go through because they will just end up meeting the same fate like Punk and The Rock
Cue Rock's music and out comes the new WWE Champion and he wants a piece of Cena but Cena obviously bails out of the ring and tells Rock that he can't see him and that when he does see him, Rock won't be able to see it coming but then cue Punk's music and Punk then cuts a promo about respect and that Cena has lost all the respect that Punk ever had for him and not to mention everyone else in the back has lost respect for Cena but that he also wants a piece of Cena too but that he also wants back his WWE Championship
Cena ends up destroying yet another person in his new heel turn, this time he ends up destroying Jerry Lawler if he is back on commentary by then, leading up to Extreme Rules 2013
Cena eventually ends up starting a new stable, the new nWo but with Cena at the helm as the leader, with that iconic Rockhouse music, and in the new nWo Cena being in the Hollywood Hogan type role, you can have Miz in there in the Scott Hall role and Big Show in the Nash role, Ziggler in the Curt Hennig role and whoever in the Macho Man Randy Savage role

A storyline in which two generations of wrestlers (Attitude Era and Current Era) all collide. Rock would win the WWE Title from CM Punk at some point, to which CM Punk would complain that Rock's time has come and gone and he doesn't deserve to be in WWE Title matches anymore, let alone be the Champion. He says it's time for guys from his generation to just step aside and let the WWE move on, and allow the current crop of guys prove that they are better than the Attitude Era guys ever were *Boo*
The likes of Kane, Triple H, Christian, a returning Undertaker (even a few appearances from Stone Cold) and so on get involved, aiming to prove CM Punk wrong. This leads to a Battle of the Eras, with big current names like Cena, Ziggler, Orton, Sheamus, Bryan, Rhodes etc. feuding with members of the AE.
It all leads to a dream 5-on-5 match at Survivor Series 2013. Two absolute powerhouse teams, with Rock, Austin (in his first match in years, and which would eventually head towards a battle at 'Mania with CM Punk), Triple H, Undertaker & Kane vs CM Punk, Cena, Orton, Sheamus & Bryan. A generation who perhaps aren't in their prime but are considered maybe the greatest, vs. 5 of the WWE's very best today, in the peak of their careers.

Cena wins title at Mania Holds on to it through June Raw Roulette: Ryback is chosen to face Cena for the WWE title, in a streak vs title scenario. Throughout Raw, the show is flooded with promos about how the two are buddies and everything is completely mutual. Match starts, Ryback splits Cena in half (the long way) and feasts on his innards to win the title. Ryback is either mega heel or super face.  Profit and were all better for having watched it. |

My big 2013 story line would be to have Orton, Cena, Punk, Del Rio, and Sheamus all be around the main event picture and fighting for the WWE and World Titles.
It's fresh, and never has been done before... not in 2012, 2011 or in 2010.

Ted Dibiase (Jr) returns to Smackdown and attacks Randy Orton. The next week Orton calls Ted out and they have a match announced in the Main Event that night. The match never happens as a returning Joseph Henning interfers and helps Ted beat down Orton. The result, Orton is out for a few weeks. The reasoning behind Ted and Joes actions, they are sick of being overlooked and overshadowed by guys like Orton, whose father never accomplished half as much as theirs. They reeked havoc over Smackdown until MITB, where Ted wins the case (with the help of Joe). Thus leading to a Main Event at Summerslam where Ted wins. Then the following Smackdown, Orton returns and thus starts to feud with Ted to NOC 2013.

The big storyline has to be something involving a big talent eg CM Punk and some newer talent eg Ohno, Rollins, Cesaro in a stable.

CM Punk holds onto the title until Royal Rumble where he goes on to face the Rock. During the match, Brock Lesnar jumps out of the crowd and levels Rocky leaving him easy pickings for Punk to retain the WWE championship.
The following night on RAW, Punk says that he proved he is the best by holding onto the championship for as long as he has and for defeating the Rock. Everyone expects the Rock to come out but glass shatters and Stone Cold Steve Austin comes down the aisle to confront Punk. After a short back and forth, Lesnar's music hit. Halfway to the ring the Rock jumps Lesnar and all hell breaks loose. Punk and Austin exchange blows briefly until Austin goes for a stunner. Punk escapes and heads for the hills.
In the following weeks, Rocky claims that Lesnar ruined his chance to become the greatest of all time. He reveals his plan to go into WM as the WWE champion to face the Undertaker and end the streak. This leads to a Rock/Lesnar match at Elimination Chamber to decide who will face Taker at WM.
Not quite sure how to tie this all up, but in the end Punk goes on to WM to defend the WWE championship against Austin defeating him to prove that he is the best in the world.

Another big storyline heading into 2013 that I have would be pushing Christian back to the main event, by having Christian win the Smackdown Money In The Bank Ladder Match and Christian in the process turns heel again but this time he becomes a more serious heel in the sense that he is not a crybaby whining type heel, but becomes more of an ultimate opportunist type guy like his best friend WWE Hall of Famer Edge by having Christian be in the right place at the right time but along the way he hires himself a new "problem solver" just like how Tomko used to be his problem solver way back in the day, and Christian becomes more ruthless and more vicious as well as aggressive but in the process forms his own stable with himself, his problem solver, and then you get 2 more guys in there to make it The Christian Coalition, which would be the stable that I would build to take over Smackdown
