If anything I want to see it happen again where a guy is the #1 entrant in the Royal Rumble and goes wire to wire to win it all by being the first man in and being the last man standing, because it just adds so much excitement to see a guy last in the match for 1 whole hour and having to fight his way through 29 other guys to win from that position considering HBK did it in 1995 and Benoit then doing it 9 years later in 2004, and for 2012 they could have had it happen with The Miz when he was #1 entrant but no, that is why I am hoping the #1 entrant for January's Royal Rumble Match is a main event guy who ends up going 1 whole hour to win it all

I hope it NEVER happens again. It's been done to death now.

How, if it has only been done twice in Royal Rumble history, once in 1995 and again in 2004

How, if it has only been done twice in Royal Rumble history, once in 1995 and again in 2004 It's the same amount of time as it would be for the number 1 entrance.

Yes you have a point with Rey but he was the #2 entrant, I'm talking #1 here, and to see a guy come in at #1 and go the distance to win it all would be special because then he would be mentioned in the same league with HBK and Benoit

Yeah twice is plenty.
Its not just something you can let someone do either. The Miz? Really? I understand the whole "weasel and hide" but you cant do that for over an hour.
Going #1 to win is pretty much supposed to be a testament to the kind of wrestling machine you are, not to mention an incredible, prestigious honor.
Taking a look at the roster, John Cena is the only person who could believably pull it off to me at this minute. Give it a few more years for them to mature and develop and id include Dolph Ziggler, Wade Barrett, and possibly Daniel Bryan as well as contenders.

Even Randy Orton could do it too if he were #1

I was really hoping CM Punk would win the 40 man Royal Rumble and go bell to bell when he drew number 1 in 2011.

Nah. I hate the #1 entrant winning. It's happened way too often, and it makes everyone else in the rumble look like total crap.

Michaels, McMahon, Benoit and Mysterio have all started the Rumble and gone on to win. We need a break from that.
I'd say have someone in the 5-10, or the 15-20 entrant brackets win.

I'd like to see a couple more people win from #30 (or 40 if they do a 40-man), two or three years running. Makes that last spot seem a lot more advantageous if they actually have more guys win from it.

Honestly, nobody on the roster right now is really worth having do that. If anyone was going to do it, it would be Cena, or possibly punk. Nobody else has the credibility right now.And if they let Cena do it, the internet would explode.

I want a low but not too low number, number none would be perfect for a win for someone like Wade Barrett, Dolph Ziggler or Cody Rhodes, they lasted well, but not too well.
