I worked with Edge before WWE and he did a different gimmick with Christian on the independents. They were called Sex n Violence and they had this tiny manager named Johnny Bradford who was legit deaf!
It made calling out the match impossible, and their manager missed all his spots. I kind of think Edge thought this was funny and did it as a rib on the people they worked.
It was pretty good lol
