Looks like a nice figure. I will get it, but I was going to get it no matter what it looked like as I always pick up the first release of a figure.

As others have said I think it would have ben better in actual ring attite or maybe her GM style outfit although that would of course be too up to date to be expected at this point. I'll perhaps buy the figure but seeing that it will be the most expensive from the series online and as I'm not overly keen on the look of the figure I may not bother. I'll wait until I see what the card looks like as I'm a moc collector so that has an impact for me.

...Why not just give her yellow shorts and have her skull logo be on them, and just not do all the lines on her actual wrestling gear, but get us glove enough... While I would have loved that, there may be an issue with using that skull. It's my understanding that Trent Barreta designed that skull for AJ, so I'm not sure what that issue may be. However, the skull is airbrushed in the new WWE program and AJ's new ring attire, which I haven't seen her wear yet, may not even have the skull on it. The lightning bolt may be her new logo? Her new attire should be easy for Mattel to recreate in Basic form.   when did she ever wear that spotted attire?  ?? |

I'll buy it because the headscan looks great (most diva headscans look generic) and simply out of fear she won't get another figure made.
I know she is popular right now but who is to say that by the time Mattel would get around to making a 2nd AJ she isn't future endeavored by then knowing WWE's track record on keeping their female talent.
Sorry to sound so grim but I can never find any diva figures in stores and for the ones I do own about 75% of them are sitting on my future endeavored shelf.

I'll buy it if I see it in stores, but they definitely could have gone with a better attire, I have no idea why they would choose to make her in jeans, if you could call them that.
