I did this awhile back and posted it in fix up thread. Couldn't get shins to match up like you did. Awesome!

Damn Dean.......fantastic!!!!
Why the hell would Mattel not make a barefoot Snuka......?
He only wore boots for like a year...if even that!
I want that figure brotha......once again I'm jealous as all hell!

You're like the MacGyver of custom figures! Give Dean a piece of gum, a rubber band, & an old paper clip and he'll make you any custom you want.

You forgot the most important tool in MacGyver's arsenal...the Swiss pocket knife.

Thats incredible, Shangos necklace looks great, I was thinking of using the necklace for a Barbarian custom before but couldnt find any tan color plastic to use with the cape ( see signature)
Fix ups that dont use any paint always top my list, good job

Whose lower leg did you use between KVE shins and Del Rio's thighs? When I made mine a while ago he was too tall. I had used all of KVE legs from the hips down.I then changed them to hacksaw's but there was an overhang.. So I had to shave it down and paint on his knee pads. But he was a back row figure because the skin colors didn't match. I'll have my wife pick up shoe polish tomorrow.

I used ADR leg and knee. KVE shin and foot. The ADR knee is quite smaller than the KVE so the height is good I think.

OK I'll have to look into that I guess. Here was the one I did with the shaved down Hacksaw calves - (the only time splitting a crotch piece ever worked for me lol) scale - now that I know about the shoe polish I can finally finish him.

I'm thinking of trying this recipe, although I'm still holding out hope that Mattel will include a revamped Snuka in a future assortment. In the meantime, I assume the hardest part for doing this custom Snuka is splitting the crotch piece? Does anyone have any tips they would like to share about how to go about it and not ruin the figure?
Any help would be much appreciated.
