Can someone please confirm I'm not crazy...
I forgot to record FTWD, but watching it live, I swear to god Travis (dad) had some huge tribal tattoos all over his stomach when he had his shirt unbuttoned. Either this happened, and literally no one has noticed, or I have gone completely crazy.

Just watched a trailer called in the shadows or something like that, more of a teaser. But man did it get me pumped. The song playing was fantastic.
It's crazy how this show has grown from just being a 6 episode first season to now coming up on its sixth season.

Anyone watch the Fear finale last night? Thought it was really awesome. Best episode of the season by a country mile. I think largely because they spent so much time leading to that one set of events, the payoff was huge. The Abigail was a no brainer. As someone who lives in Florida, I think the natural reaction for this type of event, assuming it was real, would be to head out to the water. So it was cool to see them take that route, albeit from the other coast.
I didn't expect that intense moment at the end. I thought they would give us the chaos in droves, which they did but what a note to end the season on. It's moderately ambiguous too, at least in terms of what will happen next. So hypothetically, had it not been renewed, the Fear cast could have been tied into the main show at some point down the road with no conflict. Just really well done imo.
People need to relax on this show. I remember trying to get people into S1 of the Walking Dead and people not being that in love with it after Season 1. Mind you, these are people I know who watched all 6 episodes in a row, some of those people even watch the first two to three full seasons straight through, and are huge fans now. I think Fear was great for a first season. I think we'll look back in a couple of years and laugh pretty hard about the negative reactions this show received out of the gate. I think a ton of that had to do with what people were expecting to see out of the show.
Anyway, I've enjoyed the ride. Glad we're jumping back to the main show. Hopefully crazy Rick delivers big this season and I'm interested to see what variations they make from the comics.

I've been watching so much Game of Thrones recently that I completely forgot Walking Dead returns tonight. I'm pumped though.

Fantastic premiere. Could have done without the black and white as I feel there was enough evidence within the scenes to show they were flashbacks.
Also that opening scene was pretty awesome.

The black and white scenes were pretty annoying, but I can see why they used them. I thought this premiere was great; didn't top Season Five's, but it was still awesome.

REALLY good premiere and I'm so hyped for this full season! My problem is that it felt like 45 minutes of content stretched with commercials to make it a 90 minute episode. Regardless, this was an awesome episode and I will never go out of my way to be down about too much Walking Dead.

I loved the black and white. I thought it was an awesome use of storytelling that gave a nod to the comics as well.
That look between Morgan and Rick after Carter got got, priceless. It's interesting that Morgan and Rick have become Rick and Shane from Season 2. The show constantly needs a moral compass. Strange to me that the moral compass we have now knows how bad the world is but still refuses to play by all those rules, at least to the full extent. It's boyscouty but not in that totally naive way that you think is going to get him killed.
I'm interested to see if Jessie grows into what Andrea is in the comics now. Seems extremely likely to me.
They nailed Heath. Perfect casting.
I don't think the horn was the Wolves. I get that one of the exiled members of Alexandria could seemingly be leading that group and want to see them eliminated completely but I feel like this is going to be one of the teenagers, Jessie's son or Carl's little girlfriend. Maybe it's something coincidental altogether. I feel like the Wolves are a red herring at this point that will be addressed later in the season. It seems too soon to jump into that whole deal. I think vengeance is one thing but in a post apocalyptic world where resources are at a premium, you don't want to make a town and their food and guns untouchable, especially when said town doesn't really know you exist.

Thought the premiere was absolutely fantastic. I've been a fan of the show since the beginning, but I've been on the fringe several times before where I was just flat out bored, even when everyone on my Facebook feed was touting how great it was. Season 5 was my favorite to date, and 6 appears to be picking up right where it left off in terms of quality. I'm excited.

A very enjoyable start to Season 6. I wonder if we'll get any flashbacks this season showing how Morgan became the next Steve Blackman.
