Mid-season finale was pretty good. I'm glad that they didn't end it with the cliffhanger gun shot.

Great episode. I still don't buy Rick suddenly finding his balls (apparently Michonne borrowed them and finally gave them back) or everyone looking to him to lead them but if it gets badass Rick back then I'll let it slide.
Edit: Daryl killing Fat Joey was a bit unexpected. Maybe he beats him up but to go full on Negan like that with the pipe... awesome!

Man...what an episode... ...for anyone who hadn't seen it yet...  ...and I lost it right there. ☺️ Such a faithful and compelling episode; so nerve wracking in the right parts and uncomfortable in others...I remember reading the prelude to the 'All Out War' story arc in the comics and feeling engrossed so much by it...I have a good feeling about the show too, especially after these last two episodes... Bring on February! |

Loved the episode, and especially the ending. Man talk about goosebumps. I do wish they showed Daryl and Maggie's first interaction since he escaped. Because he did think she was dead during Negan's first visit to Alexandria. I thought it would've been a good emotional moment.

That was the best Dead episode in a LONG time. Dare I say it was a great episode? I think so. No really major characters died, and a ton of progression. Negan is PERFECT, that whole scene was perfect. Glad Jesus got Daryl back, and it's time for All Out War in the second half, which I'm uber hyped for. |

Loved the episode, but I've liked pretty much everything this season besides Tara's episode. I haven't read the comics but I know "All Out War" is a thing so I'm excited to see stuff get crazy.

I don't think Alpha would be out on her own in that fashion. Aren't we to assume that the person with the boots is the same person who owned the house boat and left the middle finger drawing? That doesn't seem like Alpha to me. I expect when we meet the Whisperers, we'll be introduced to them as a herd first. It's also too early to have the Whisperers as a point of contention when All Out War hasn't even started yet.
I think we might be getting a new original character just for the show. Maybe someone to fill the Abraham, heavy muscle, void to help Rick and Co. against the Saviors. Logically speaking, I don't think it's anyone we already know. So yeah, I'm expecting an all new character who is likely first presented as a foe (for having his sh*t stolen) but then joins the group as an ally.
