It was a OK finale but I was hoping the war would end different but the Maggie/Jesus/Daryl angle should be interesting next season. FTWD is off to a good start never been a big fan of the spinoff but I'm gonna give it another shot seems like its getting better.

I actually liked the finale. The way Rick put a stop to Negan, and subsequent reaction by Maggie tells me Maggie is gonna eat crap next season. Maggie/Daryl/Jesus vs. Rick/Michonne/Negan most likely, doesn't play out well for Maggie. She has her supporters and the rogue Saviors, but Rick has the Sanctuary by the balls now. Gonna be interesting since this looks like it'll be a filler/character development season coming up because of the horde. A few people eat it, couple characters get bigger roles, and the writers get a chance to figure out how they're handling The Whisperers. The fact that Jadise changed her name on Morgan really makes me think she's gonna wind up being Alpha. Curious.

I thought when we first meet her she was gonna be Alpha but I haven't thought much about it since then but I would enjoy it if she turns out to be her.

I bought more into it after the finale.

It only took them four seasons but Fear The Walking Dead has finally hit upon a character I find myself really caring about: John Dory.
Tonight's episode is possibly my favorite FTWD episode. Forget the life or death wars for survival between large groups of survivors, this one was very intimate and personal story about two people coming to grips with the new way of life.
I hope that just because we haven't seen Jenna Elfman in the current storyline that doesn't mean she is going to die in the flashback storyline. I want the other survivors to be wrong about her fate at the stadium so we can get a reunion between Naomi and John.

I dont think she's dead I think they might've told him that so they would help them go after the Vultures. Where do you think Madison at? I'm thinking the Vultures might've took her when they took over the stadium.

It's obvious something happened at the stadium that really took them to the dark side. I also made the assumption that the survivors of the stadium are on some kind of revenge mission. They haven't clearly stated what their goal is yet though. Maybe they are on a rescue mission too. With only three episodes left before the mid-season break I hope we get some answers rather than a cliffhanger and months of guesses.

I stopped watching Fear after episode three of season one. Anything I really need to know or can I just jump into the new season? Heard the others were...bad.

I think you should binge watch from the first episode of season 4. It really is a different show from the first three seasons imho. So much better than before. You could have a problem jumping in the middle of the season though because you would miss the introductions of Morgan and the new characters: John, Al, Naomi, and the Vultures.

I agree I quit watching around the end of season 1 but wanted to give it another shot when Morgan got there and something to watch until TWD came back and I wasnt disappointed. Imo this is their best season by far and like King Richius said I would start with the first episode of season 4 so you can get to know the new characters especially John Dorie he is a great charchter .

Why did Elisha shoot John?

Why did Elisha shoot John? Because she's an idiot. She deserves to die a slow and painful death in the next episode. I may be a little angry that my new favorite character is in danger of dying just one week after I said FTWD finally had a character I found myself really caring about.

Why did Elisha shoot John? I think she was trying to shoot Naomi because she thinks she betrayed them and was a Vulture but John got hit instead.

Another great episode but like King Richius said I'm upset that my favorite character is in danger of losing his life I dont think he will die but you never know with this show. They finally found characters that I care for now with Dorie,Morgan and Naomi I hope they all last for couple seasons.

Uh oh... comicbook.com/thewalkingdead/2018/05/29/the-walking-dead-andrew-lincoln-exit-season-9/It's official. Rick's leaving. Maggie's leaving. Daryl's leaving. What in the blue hell is gonna happen with this show? They don't have any characters other than Michonne developed well enough to carry. They killed off Carl, the defacto second in command. I mean, Jesus doesn't show up because of contract stuff. They'd have to pay a ton of money to Negan to make him the main guy, but no one's gonna trust him. Dwight doesn't have the presence. Ezekiel isn't title role material. Carol isn't title role material. I can't think of anyone on the canvas that could lead the group cohesively, regardless of if they scrap the Whisperer's story or not. The only possible character I could see leading the group would have to be Michonne. Maybe Jadis, but they'd have to do some serious development in a damn hurry. The leader has to be a warrior. A fighter. So that casts out Enid, Sadiq, Jesus, Maggie's Savior lover crush guy. Rosita wouldn't be a believable leader. Neither would Eugene, Tara, or Gabriel. So I'm leaving it up to Michonne, Jadis, Aaron, and MAYBE Cydnie. This is gonna be VERY interesting. King Richius

I'm pretty sure he got a huge pay increase to replace Rick / Andrew as the top dog on the show. I could be mistaken though.
It's a shame that the show has basically turned into their own damn name: walking dead. I'm not sure the show - given it's already struggling by their standards - can survive without Rick especially without Carl to actually move the entire show forward to some extent. I'm not ballsy enough to proclaim it'll get s***canned simply because it's printing money but damn is anyone really going to have interest moving forward once Rick is gone? I was already debating watching / not watching when the show returns but knowing that Rick is basically on his way out.. hell.. I'm not sure I'll watch now outside of seeing how Rick goes. We'll see but either way this ain't good..

No Rick means I will be pretty much done with the show. I mean, I'm willing to give it a chance. If we suffered through season four, we can do anything as a fan base. Admittedly, the only characters I'm remotely attached to are Carol, Jerry, Negan and Enid, but I'm still interested in seeing how they pan it out. In particular, how Rick leaves. He wouldn't just up and leave Judith. He has to be killed. All I can think of is, since he and Maggie are both leaving...that setup Maggie was talking about at the end of the season gets them both killed. Either they die in a fight with each other, or Rick takes a bullet for either Michonne or Negan and the one he saves kills Maggie. I would assume Negan. Because he's all about honor if nothing else, and if Rick sacrifices himself for Negan, Negan would avenge him. As much as Negan hates Rick, especially for playing against Negan's love and respect for Carl, Rick would have saved his life twice now. He owes him one, and that's probably how he winds up in Morgan's box. Michonne would have second thoughts if she were the target, Negan wouldn't. He's a bastard, but he's very much about honor with an eye for an eye mentality. As King Richius has said, I should write this show because I'm better than the writers. And it wouldn't break Negan's character at all. I still just don't know who leads assuming both Maggie and Rick die mid season, which I'm assuming is when that horde from the valley is gonna hit Hilltop and during the commotion is when crap goes down to the point where they have no choice but to let Negan help them fight, every body on deck. Gets all the potential victims out in the open. @roh2009 you might enjoy this read too.
