Flair Forever that sounds great man,would definitely be a great way to go with the story. Spoilers if you haven't watched the latest Dead City yet...... Is the older lady Croat's wife that's in the previews? Seems like she the one that's wanting to punish Negan more then the Croat does. He actually seemed sincere with just wanting Negan to help build up the new Sanctuary but I think that all went out the window when Negan saved the Marshall. Absolutely loved the scene with those two.

Yeah Episode 4 didn't really sit too well with me..... just felt like not a whole lot really happened (?)...
So we ended Episode 3 with Negan killing one of the group members that was helping them..... and Maggie nearly burning Ginnie's Dino, with Ginnie hiding in the shadows..... we were kind of wondering what was going to happen with both of those situations....
And the answer seemed to be absolutely nothing..... the show just rolled on mostly like those two events didn't even happen....
I thought the climactic meeting between The Croat & Negan was somewhat ... anti-climactic? The Croat acted happy to see Negan, like he was welcoming an old friend into his new home.... and Negan just stared blankly (very un-Negan-ish)..... then proceeds to rescue Percy the Marshal, AGAIN un-Negan-ish. No wonder Negan is so bad, whenever he tries to help someone they turn around & screw him over. But after killing one of the "friendly" group members just to keep the mission going.... there was no reason for Negan to save this Marshall & jeopardize the mission at-hand. And likely piss off the Croat.... it just didn't make sense to me, in the context of the mission.
With only 6 episodes in this series, they really can't afford to waste an episode, and I feel like that's pretty much what they did here. Where are we now after Episode 4? The mission was a failure, The Croat knows what they are after, and they're basically trying to escape MSG now..... we're almost right back where we started, and there's only two episodes left. That doesn't bode well for young Hershel.....
I dunno, next week looks promising.... I am also curious about the "old woman" and what her role in all this will be....
Also..... what would a New York City sewer look like, being that there's been no running water for what.... 15 years? In theory, nobody's been flushing toilets or running bath-water or anything for at least that long..... not saying the sewers would be clean by any means.... I assume there isn't running water in the apocalypse?

Well sort of.... Thanks for "acknowledging ME"..... LOL. As is typical for Walking Dead, they are wayyyy over-complicating this. It can't just be so simple as The Croat wanting Revenge against Negan for banishing him from the Sanctuary & shooting off his ear.... so he blackmailed Maggie into luring Negan to the island. Bring on the 3-way Drama/War between Maggie/Negan/Croat.... Winner takes Hershel match... that's a Wrestlemania Main Event I'd love to see! No.... it has to be some weirdo playwright/actress lady FOR SOME UNKNOWN REASON is calling all the shots; And she wants Negan brought here because they "NEED" him? Makes no freakin' sense. There's only ONE EPISODE LEFT.... and you are starting a new storyline? I was SO SURE it was going to turn out that Maggie was the one who tipped off The Croat of the plan. And that - in my mind - would have been a cool twist; BUT NO..... the mole/snitch was..... Thomaso?  So you mean to tell me that this little colony has been at-odds with the Croat for all this time and just now he decided to double-cross his own people and damn near get them all killed? Maybe I'm missing something.... So while Maggie was double-crossing Negan.... Thomaso was double-crossing them all.... as Jim Cornette often says "it's a hat on a hat". You only needed one. Too many Vince Russo swerves in here to keep track. And again, as is typical for any Walking Dead storyline - our "heroes" came on the scene, and now they have wiped out an entire population, because that NYC colony is all dead. Which - again, I feel like I wasted my time even caring about the NYC crew. In the back of my head, I was thinking maybe they kill off Amaya (SP)? and then Thomaso possibly becomes a future love interest for Maggie? But NAH..... let's just turn Thomaso heel and then kill them all. So what was the point of Negan killing Luther? Because now that all the rest of them are dead nobody is going to care. So why did they do that? And the Marshal? Did we really, really NEED to have this story where he & Negan eventually find common ground and become buddies? I'm freakin' sure Percy is probably going to get killed soon too, so who cares. Like many a bad wrestling show.... this thing is wayyyy over-booked. Keeping it simple (for a six-episode series) would have worked much better here. Sorry my thoughts are so jumbled.... but this show is sort of becoming jumbled! Thank God Ginnie is about to blow this thing wide open! All that being said - I can't wait to see Episode 6 .... I'm really wondering how they wrap all this up in ONE EPISODE..... |

You got the grain/silo stuff absolutely dead on and that was what was worrying me. I had no idea what she was staring at that d@mn silo for but I knew it was gonna come into play later lol. The older lady actress is Fear the Walking Dead bad twist level,instead like you said let all this be Croat vs Negan. We got this lady wanting to put on plays in the end of days and having our big bad become her b*tch. Loved the scene of the woman coming out of the older lady's room calling the Croat what we was all thinking at the time. I get now why we have Ginny but the Marshall still makes no f*cking sense why he's here. I'm guessing there's no second season why all this is getting wrapped up this soon? Seems like nobody we've meet meant anything besides maybe the Croat and his master. Like you said its pretty much went off the rails but for some reason I'm still excited for next week. I NEED a season of Negan vs Maggie where only one comes out(hopefully Negan) Dead City been fun but I still wish instead of this we gotten to see how Negan built the Sanctuary up. Those flashbacks with Simon and Croat makes me want a lot more of that then seeing how the old woman wants to make Negan her lead actor in her newest off Broadway play |

Just finished the episode where Nickolas shoots himself and Glenn hides under the dumpster. Jesus they really wanted us to think glenn was a goner. It's hard to watch it.

Was the Neegan/Maggie show worth watching? I thought it was good,you had a couple real good episodes but it didn't finish off real strong imo. Negan alone was worth watching for me but I think it depends on really how big of a fan you was towards the end of the regular show. If you enjoy JDM or Lauren, i say its worth your time to check out a episode or two(i think its only around 6 episodes)both of them delivered but wasn't much else besides them If I was gonna recommend a newer zombie show,I would go with Last of Us. That was great from the beginning to end. |

It really sucks to see how the original Walking Dead ended. The first 3 to 4 seasons were so good. I wish they had went with quality over quantity - but they’re still trying to milk this thing for all it’s worth.
I would have been happy with the show ending once they arrived at Alexandria and showing them established there. Give us the happy ending of them finally being somewhere safe but always being forced to life with the threat of walkers and other evil threats.
Killing Carl off was one of many bad decisions.

Who'da thunk that a show would continue on so long despite an otherwise obvious demise, meandering on without a pulse, without thought, and without a beating heart in a primal, carnal desire to consume viewership. I work  ing way too much so generally I'll binge watch what's out the few weekends I get off from time to time and usually I'll drink some too. I ended up shutting this show off because drinking and watching it was not ing working. I'm essentially reading the show and it's just ing hard to watch with my regular routine. |
