I can say some of my favorites are Chris Jericho's theme with the intro, because it was synonymy with the pop that he got on his WWF debut.
I can enjoy any theme with some sort of phrase/intro, because it gives it away about who's coming, and it gives the crowd sufficient time to react. Like, Glass Shatters, or The Rock's Theme, or Zack Ryder's theme before they put the "Woo Woo Woo" before it. Again, anything with an a small, couple second intro works. Like, even John Morrison's theme is gold.
I can agree with themes hinting at the personality of the wrestler. Like, knowing Zack Ryder, he'd listen to that kind of stuff. John Cena...well, he made it, why wouldn't he come out to it. Dolph Ziggler: He's cocky, he's here to show the world, he's the showoff.

funny about DB he had an instrumental theme right before the original Flight of the Valkyries that was AWESOME here: it always just stood out to me as being cool, sounded "old school" and it had impact. the biggest problem was it seemed that it wasn't played loud enough in the arenas. when he switched to Valkyries i wasn't sold at first...but the newer "rock" version has definitley grown on me I liked that one. The current one is so much better though.

I have always hated John Cena's music; especially the beginning. When I first heard it I was waiting for either Eddie Guerrero, Chavo, Mysterio, or some other hispanic wrestler to come out. It just sounds hispanic. It doesn't fit Cena. His original music fit him better than his current crap. My favorites are/were Goldberg's, Big Show, Kane, SCSA, Rock, and Randy Orton.

Regardless of the superstar because it did nothing for him, but this theme crushes all

yep, a good theme is almost I'd say, an essential part to being a great wrestler. Something fitting to the character, and something that pumps you up, just gets you into the match that much more. best themes, IMO; My Time - HHH Invasion - Goldberg (I ing hate Goldberg, so that says a lot) Christian's TNA theme Ikari No Jyushin - Jushin Thunder Liger Cult of Personality - CM Punk Alberto Del Rio's theme but I think the best right now might be James Storm's. Has that PPV feel, but also fits his character perfectly.

Someone needs to come back with the Heath Slater/Justin Gabriel Black or White theme. Why this song was ever dropped is beyond me. JBLs theme is one of my favorites of all time along with Alberto's currently

I always thought Batista's "I Walk Alone" theme was good and all, but his original theme was badass.

I Walk for miles inside this pit of danger!!!!!!!!!
*Guitar riff rivaling battledrum*
Swallowed DOWN a thousand yells of ANGEEEEER!!!!!!
Seriously though as Bryan said to Colt Cabana on the are of wrestling podcast, "90% of getting over in WWE is ring entrance, mic work & ring gear." So anyone who thinks all the artistic details that go into a wrestler's gimmick is an idiot.

As much as I love HBK, Sexy Boy made no sense for the latter part of his career. But the song becomes so attached to the wrestler, that you can't imagine anything else. I think that's the point that a lot of wrestlers come to, like Stone Cold or Undertaker. I will say that most of the time, less is more. For example, Kurt Angle. His theme is perfect. Well, was perfect. Right around when he moved to ECW, they updated his theme and had the beginning part start over 2 or 3 times, and it ruined the whole theme. It was simple, and felt very fitting to an American Hero. Alberto Del Rio has to have the best theme song currently, in my opinion. No lyrics, nothing that strays too far from his character. Has a great beginning that blends really well with Ricardo or anyone announcing, as well as the car horn. JBL's theme is right up there as well with those two, and for almost the exact same reasons. The Stock Market Bell at the beginning is just a great touch. Man, I could go on for hours on how less is more. I'm really not a big fan of theme songs with lyrics, unless it really matches in either tone or lyrics. Randy Orton's theme song could not fit more perfectly, both character and his actions. I can't say John Cena's really fits anymore, and has fallen into that "We expect him to come out to it" catagory. "You're time is up, my time is now" Who are you talking to, John? It's been your time for 7 years now.I know I'll catch some flack for this, but best theme song of all time? 2002 Big Evil Red Devil Undertaker PRIOR to lyrics. Back when it was just a nasty guitar rift after the "Dead Man Walking". Couldn't have been more aggressive, while being simply a couple of guitars and a drum. Everything here is spot on. Couldn't agree more! Maybe it's time for Cena to embrace a new character/theme song altogether.

For some reason i always have liked this song whenever he started coming out to it, and actually he is a good wrestler as well. Best song ever in the history? I dont think i could give it to anybody. Alot were good, and then alot were bad, John Cena has wore that song out and needs to get a new one.
