Does anyone know anything on this figure? I've seen a couple on eBay but both been loose. Were they produce to be loose or taken out of a package? Any info on this fig will be appreciated

I own one. Packaging was shown, by Warrior, last July, but the ones on Ebay are factory errors.

There's only 5 officially released to Warrior as part of his contract. Factory errors don't count as released figures, because they weren't packaged and released. They were taken/stolen from the factory

I'd like to know where it officially said there were 5. The only place I've ever seen that was when some guy on here mentioned it on his blog.
All I can remember was that Mattel said they would never produce numbers that low when asked about 1 of 100 editions.
I'm thinking Warrior has a lot more than that.

I'd probably pass on that even if it was a retail figure, I wasn't a fan of his singlet look.

Maybe the question was asked it in a way suggesting the 1 of 100 figures would be made available to the public. Mattel have actually said it doesn't make financial sense for them to make any less than 5,000 figures. So I guess that most exclusives are 5,000 or more. However, if when negotiating with Warrior they thought making him a limited run of 5 figures which they don't have to then sell themselves or sell to a site like RSC, then I can see them doing that. Especially when it's essentially a repaint. |
