I'm going to make this a 2 in one post, explaining your previous inquiry. This isn't like fantasy football at all. The name is sheerly coincidental. As I assume you've gathered by this post, this is fantasy writing of a wrestling series. Your world, your guidelines.
As for your initial post, I'm not sure how I feel about it. A hardcore federation, cool.. It's been tried before to varying levels of success.. The roster is problematic though. I don't see how you could have a hardcore federation, particularly one promoting a deathmatch tournament, with guys who've never touched barbed wire in their life. I'd suggest revisiting your roster, because while the concept is solid, the roster falls fairly flat and generic. Even if you aren't familiar with indy hardcore guys, there's PLENTY of guys who have passed through WWE and TNA who'd fit the bill of a hardcore federation. Sabu, Vader, Bam Bam Bigalow, Cactus Jack, Balls Mahoney, Terry Funk, Abyss. I'm sure there's others I'm missing.
If you're creating a completely unique brand, you're going to have to make it FEEL like a completely unique brand. People are stars because of what they've done in your federation, not name recognition elsewhere. And when creating your own brand.. You almost CAN'T use big stars of elsewhere. Because when someone sees The Rock, John Cena, Triple H, Undertaker.. They're instantly going to think of WWE and there's nothing you can do to ever change that. To use these guys in your own scenario, you're going to have to work three times as hard to break them down, to build them back up.. Where as if you took someone even that was in WWE, but wasn't used, and morph them to your liking.. MAKE them your star.. Let's say Antonio of the Heartbreakers. He's got name recognition.. He's a SUPER talented wrestler.. and he's not stigmaed by WWE and their marketing.
also, for future reference, anything that isn't a show goes in the sub board. The main board is only for shows.
