Went to GameStop before work and put down $65 on the Collector's Edition. I'll pay the rest when I actually pick it up. I was told I was the last person they were taking an order for, because each store is allotted only six preorders or something? Apparently they're only getting four and they are allowed to accept preorders for two additional ones, I don't know, it sounds overly complex to me. I know that three of the Collector's Edition preorders belong to myself and two of my friends. I can't wait!

The new trailers look amazing i cant believe I hadn't seen them yet. I hope the soundtrack is great in this game. GTA 3, Vice City and San Andreas had amazing sound tracks but I hated fours's there wasn't enough mainstream music for my liking. I find myself playing the game on mute most of the time.

collector's editon is a let down. Hat is too #swag, and the rest is junk. I like the idea of playing as Vercetti and Niko but it isn't worth it just for that, and the extra content might get a separate release anyway.
I bought the GTAIV collector's but I kinda regretted it, though I still have that R* keyring on me to this day.
as for soundtrack, yeah they need more classic songs. GTAIV was alright, at least it was responsible for getting me into the black keys who are one of my favourite bands right now. Didn't hold a candle to VC or SA though.

Although vc and sa had better music soundtracks, integrity 2.0 from iv was amazing.

I hear you man, my interest in video games has definitely lessened over the last couple of years but I feel like there's no possible way GTA V could disappoint. That's why I wasn't stingy about pre ordering it. I really don't know how else they can top a GTA game. I thought IV is where it was going to peak but once again Rockstar just showed that they can always outdo themselves. |
