Same  the punching animations have been greatly improved. That's awesome about Packie. I've mostly helped out people who have asked, but I did use Trevor to take a drunk couple to the cult. Did I miss anything there? No, all that happens is you bring them to their hotel, they go inside and you get $40 reward. What do you get if you bring them to the cult? Way more than that. About $1000 I think. |

Played a good 6-7 hours yesterday. And I can honestly say it doesn't feel like GTA to me. Not complaining but when I buy GTA I want it to feel like GTA. Care to explain? It just doesn't feel like GTA. It feels like your average free roam game. There is something about it that just makes it feel like its not GTA. No idea what... Maybe that there are 3 characters? I don't know. Its something atleast. But I'm enjoying the hell out of it. |

My god these cops are driving me nuts on 2-star and 3-star wanted levels. I have to drive halfway around Los Santos just to ditch them most of the time.
I do enjoy the challenge though, especially finally escaping after a long chase.
I'm really loving Trevor, some of the things that he says have me ROFL.

I assume we're putting spoilers in white. In between the first and second heist (which I am yet to reach):
I love Franklin's assassinations for Lester. The second one with the 4 jurors was so much fun. I also love Franklin's new house - its even better than Michael's!
On another note, I like all 3 characters, but Trevor is definitely the least interesting imo. He is cool, but Franklin is fantastic and the most relatable, whilst Michael is the most interesting and mysterious. Its clear from what I've seen so far that Michael is the main character (with the other two obviously still important). He was my favourite going in, but Franklin surprised me with how cool he was, so I'd say both of them are equally awesome, with Trevor a bit behind.

Theres some graffiti scattered all over Liberty City which refers to all the past protagonists and their deaths. Also, someone from Rockstar mentioned that GTA IV takes place in a different universe which is why there wouldn't be any mentions of past games. That's what I love about this. They don't act like its another universe. It even has characters from the "3D Universe" in it not to mention several nods to the 3D verse as well. Yeah, I noticed Cherry Poppers Ice Cream is back. lol |

I can't believe Eddie Murphy's awful Party All The Time is on this game's soundtrack, and yet, somehow it makes the game even better.

I can't stop playing this game. Can't do it. I think for effort alone it has got to be in the running for greatest game ever, I am still in awe of just how MUCH there is to it. Puts most other games of this generation to shame.
One thing I do not like is the *slight spoils* tripping sequences in the game. They come across as way too gimmicky and Saint's Row-y, not to mention completely undo the immersion of the game.
As for the characters, Michael is still my boy. He just feels so real and raw as a character and the voice actor did an incredible job. I was expecting Trevor to be a dumb redneck parody but he's actually fantastic. Whenever I take control of him I sort of feel that pissed off, on edge aspect of the character and it makes playing as him a total blast. Again, the voice actor did nailed it, especially the delivery of his more comical lines. Franklin hasn't done anything for me yet. I think that's because he's your typical GTA character with no real past or issues, he's just out to get the job done and earn some money. Hope he wins me over as the story progresses.

So I was playing as Michael and I was beating up my therapist's car and a pedestrian stopped, took his phone out and took a picture of it. It's nice to not see a bunch of clone pedestrians that don't interact with you at all walking around for a change.

Has anyone done a character switch, and had the guy you switched to, in the middle of a police chase? The first time, after I switched to Trevor after he was unlocked, he's on the high way in his truck, being chased by the cops. And man, I tell you, his truck sucks at outrunning the cops.

Also the handeling of boats is miles better than GTA IV. Not a big fan of using the submarine though..

My only complaints about handling would be the helicopters.
Planes I'm pretty good with, but I suck with the choppers.
