I still think Last of Us is leagues better in terms of story and character but this game is really really good. Have you beaten GTA V? Then you can't really make a fair comparison thus, I conclude anything you post will be biased (especially since The Last of Us is in your signature). |

Remember the Super Cop cheat from San Andreas? The struggle is real man, lol. It does seem quite true to life though. LA city Cops aren't know to be slouches, but neither are NYC cops so I don't know why the LCPD were so crappy. I still can't really call the cops a problem as once you figure how they operate, it's not that hard getting away from them. I much prefer avoiding the vision scopes of the police as opposed to them having the big brother sense of the past games and knowing exactly where you are, even after leaving their line of sight. I've literally lost three stars hiding out in alley ways or on roof tops. That's cool.

Hoping to finish off the story tonight. Still amazes me how great this game is. Graphics, story, detail, gameplay, really nailed it on all accounts imo.
The heist missions alone are so much fun.

Yeah I can't make a comparison when I'm about 85% through the game, okay. I'll come back when I'm done and probably have the same opinion. Story wise, Last of Us gripped me right from the open. This is a lot of fun but this is in no way even on the same level as Last of Us when it comes to the acting, writing and story IN MY OPINION. No bias, I have owned every console GTA since GTA2, I just dont feel like every entry is the holy grail of video games. This feels like a GTA greatest hits game which is a great thing in its own sense. |

Well I was going to do Trevor's heist tonight, but looks like I get to start the game all over. Was playing Lego Star Wars with my nephew, when my PS3 suddenly shut off, yellow f'ing light of death  So pissed off. While I love my old 'fat' PS3, I think I'm just going to go tomorrow and have to buy a new one. With the price drop, it just doesn't make sense to spend the money to send it into Sony to get a refurbished model. Thing that sucks is I upgraded a year ago to a 1 TB hard drive, so I'm losing a lot. At least I still have the external hard drive with the saves I had on the original hd, so I can at least put those on. Does anyone know, are the Gamestop refurbished systems a good way to go, or should I just get the newer slim? |

It's ridiculous how much better it is than IV.
Easily one of the best games I've ever played and I feel like I've barely scratched the surface.

After Jimmy drugged and stole Michael's car, I had Trevor call Jimmy and ask to hang out. I went to the hang out point, stole the car back, went to Ammu-Nation, switched to Michael, and took the car back.

on the character wheel, it shows michael has nothing, but franklin and trevor have about 4 each (i assume those numbers indicate missions.)
the only thing on the radar, for everyone, is an orange H near the harbor, submerged terminal i believe it is.
wtf do i do? ive been doing nothing aimlessly for about 4 sessions an hour piece now...

Because for the first hour or 2 I played of the Last Of Us bored me to tears and I could see a lot of plot points coming. Granted I never got around to finishing it but it's largely because I didn't think it was quite as good as everyone says it was. GTA V on the other hand imo has earned every single bit of praise as one of the best games ever made. |
