I just started online and also looking for a crew, if anyone is interested. I ran over Michael son, but could not kill him, just sent him to the hospital.

did anybody else change their display settings? I'm playing it on xbox and my graphics look kinda blurry and the colors look a little muddy and different sites have said try changing it to 720p but it doesn't really seem to make a difference. It might be the monitor I'm using too but I'm not sure.

The best thing to do is kill Michael's family while they are watching TV on his couch. It's hilarious to throw a sticky bomb on the couch and watch them all fly. Or fly a helicopter into his house as Trevor. I recommend "injuring" his family or any other people you can hang out with. The text messages they send you are amazing. Michael will also send you texts if you steal his wife or daughter's cars too. |

so I ended up re installing the whole thing and now the graphics look better. Not sure what the deal was...satisfied with how it looks now though.
I can definitely see myself getting into the online mode..I really love some of the little features they added like being able to set different emotes for your character. Wish they included that in the story mode.

Played a little online tonight (PS3) and had some fun. Trying to bank all my cash as soon as I get some, but it'll take a while before I can purchase any properties. I'll probably try to spend quite a bit of time online this weekend.

Once you get to about level 11 or so, there's SO much going on in the online world. There's literally stuff to do to keep you active for hours. There's and awesome balance between battling/coexisting with players online and dealing with what the online AI world throws at you as well. For example, I was running from another player who was trying to kill me and just hopped in a random parked car and pulled off. Seconds later I get a text saying that I'm gonna get smoked for stealing that car, and subsequently get a $3000 bounty placed on my head for the whole session to collect on. Talk about HEAT.

I just drowned Chop by accident  Also, they've announced that everyone who played GTA Online in October gets $500,000 in GTA money. I think it includes people who have yet to play, so I'll make sure I get on it soon. |

A four man crew is pretty much my favorite thing to roll with. Me and my three buddies had a blast doing survival for like an hour. Then we robbed four stores simultaneously, escaped the cops and split the combined money four ways. Having such a great time online it's not even funny.

I believe Heists were one of those things that were taken out. Either that, or they've actually planned a rollout process where different features are going to be available at different times. |

The heists should be available with the first DLC pack. And yes the DLC will be free.
And for those that haven't heard, R* is giving $500,000 to those that have been playing GTA: Online.

Haven't done online yet, but now that there is a stimulus package mentioned, I'm all ears. For me it'd be best to wait until my brother can do it too (we have a 2 TV/PS3 setup)
