Punk isn't losing to Ryback. Cena is hurt and they had to make a filler match. Rock vs Punk is already pretty much set in stone.

What a terribly booked segment. Cena has been chasing the title for months and has talked nonstop about how he wants to beat Punk, so today he comes out and just decides, "Nah, never mind. Ryback can face him"? They should've at least had him say he couldn't compete because he wasn't cleared to or something. At least that would've made more sense.
And it's also another week where RAW goes off the air with Punk losing a match and/or getting his ass kicked. I really hate just about everything they've done with him during this heel run. Because outside of narrowly escaping his title defenses in typical heel fashion he's been made to look extremely weak on a week-to-week basis.
But I love what they've done with Ryback and it's crazy how over the guy has gotten so quickly. I think they're rushing him into the main event scene, personally, though. A Hell In A Cell match is supposed to be, like, the culmination of a long feud. Ryback facing Punk just seems like such a filler move.

Aftermath radio's on. Beat me to it. Brock breaks into the cell, and costs Ryback the match. Punk keeps the belt, Ryback isn't "killed", and we probably get Cena/Ryback vs. Brock/Punk as the big main event at Survivor Series. u forgot the part where HHH comes out w/ a shovel....to bury everyone

Awful, just awful. Hell in a Cell is gonna suck and if Ryback walks out with the title, I'll puke.

WWE has backed themselves into a corner. Kill Ryback's streak, or Punk's title reign? Not directed at you, Ryan...directed at this situation. They had 2 great things going with Punk's reign (the focal point used in his demand for respect) and Ryback's streak. This is either gonna be the final dagger in Punk's roller-coaster heel turn or put a gigantic halt in the momentum Ryback has gained...unless they have already thought of a great way to end this match while preserving both. I definitely am intrigued in this match; I just feel they are going WAY too quick with Ryback's rise.

The only way to keep both is a draw. Which would usually mean either a dangerous spot, or something killing them both.

Go back and actually listen to what Cena says. Him supporting Ryback getting the match is less about the title, and more about Punk deserving a massive ass kicking that he knows Ryback can dish out.

I still wish we were getting Punk vs. Cena in the cell, but at least that stuff would make sense.

Only possible thing I can see in a spot like that (with only 2 hrs of sleep these last few nights) with these two is something along the line of Ryback slamming Punk so forcefully that they both go straight through the ring. (Nice plug for the new video game's new feature as well)

Some pseudo shoot. "Vince, i know you're trying to build it up, but you know I'm not cleared." Sort of thing. Oh well.
