Match begins. Ryback clotheslines Punk, picks Punk up, marches around the ring, and hits shellshock. Covers Punk for the win and then have Ryback win every match for the rest of his career. ;D As ridiculous as that sounds, that's probably how it'll happen play by play.

They're not going to ruin Ryback's undefeated streak. Ryback will win the title.

No matter what happens; people here will bitch. If Ryback loses clean, people will bitch that he was squashed. If Punk wins like a coward, people will bitch he's being booked wrong. If Ryback WINS (which he won't) people will bitch that he isn't ready for the WWE Title. If Cena gets involved, people will bitch that John Cena is ALWAYS involved. Nobody will be pleased, so booking doesn't matter. Wrong. If Punk wins, I'll be pleased. Simple as. Same here

At some point in the match, both men are knocked out, and the camera cuts to the back, where "somebody" in a black ski-mask is taking out hordes of security to get to the Cell's controls. Camera cuts back to the ring, where both men are stirring, and the Cell starts to raise. Punk darts out of the ring, but Ryback gives chase. Punk barely escapes Ryback as he jumps into a car driven by Heyman, and Ryback is visibly agitated. He turns around and gets assaulted by the same man who fought his way to the Cell's controls. As Ryback lays on the concrete, the man pulls off his mask to reveal that he is (quite obviously) Brock Lesnar, setting up a feud between them. Punk retains and can jump right back into feuding with Cena; Ryback's streak lives on, and he gets catapulted into a feud that could truly legitimize him as a main eventer.

I'd want Punk to keep the title and Ryback's streak to continue.
I honestly think the match will end at a draw, some huge spot which leaves both men down for a 10 count. I dont think it'd be anything like from the top of the cell though that would make the match ending look legit and it'd be a huge moment that people will look back on for both Ryback and Punk.

Punk wins. Maybe a dirty win.

I think the only two really viable routes are having Punk win via interference from Brock or Ryback murdering Punk in three minutes.

Cena as special guest referee gets knocked out. Lesnar breaks into the cage and drops Ryback. Cena counts the 1-2-3 for Punk. Then we have teo marquee matches for SVS.

Is it possible that ending Ryback's streak early, after a long (for him) battle through whatever means would actually help him?
Streaks tend to build tension, Goldberg's and Undertaker's come to mind, but there is also a certain inevitability that they will not win until a huge payoff- Goldberg at Starcade for instance.
Ryback has beaten lots of small (stature and status) people and looks the monster part, but he hasn't deserved a title shot by beating real competition. No Kane, Jericho, Bryan, Cena, HHH, Del Rio or any other competitor for the belt recently. He might be an awesomely over guy, but does he earn this spot by being better than everyone, a la Goldberg vs. Hogan on Nitro or is this really just a way to remove the yoke of the streak and break him into something else?
My other thought is that he turns heel and joins Punk and Heyman after putting on a show of a match for a couple of minutes forcing Cena to enter and restore honor to the title at SS.
Regardless, it is both intriguing and stupid- if that is possible.

The answer is simple. If Ryback were to win; it would completely illegitimise Punk's reign as champion...as we'd see Ryback loose it shortly thereafter or probably to Rock...
I'd say similar to the St Valentines Day Massacre 1999 main event (Where Big Show debuted from coming out from uunder the ring tearing through it, then helping Vince beat up Austin. He threw Austin into the classic-blue cage wall which collapsed and opened, allowing Austin to simply let go of the cage wall, dropping to the ground). Doing something like this shows off Ryback's clear and obvious dominance, but keeps Punk as champ and adds a big name to his list of defeats.
Punk must hold it till at least Rumble...

I'll believe this when it happens. I still think Punk could take out Ryback before the PPV, or even a Lesnar interference may be the best route to go down, to set up McMahon's Men vs Heyman's Guys at Survivor Series. Either this or we get Vince McMahon vs CM Punk in Hell in a Cell.

I still think Cena will be involved somehow, but a Punk victory despite it.

Two words - I wouldn't
this has to be one of the worst decisions WWE writers have made. If Ryback wins, then Punk's reign is for nothing. Why they have rushed this guy up so fast is beyond me. And I wish people would keep insisting the Rock is coming back and is going to be champ and a regular feature again. Isn't going to happen folks, sorry to break it to ya. Rock has proven he is a special guest at best now. He has no staying power. They are not going to hand the belt to a guy who wrestles twice a year. Punk has been one of the best fighting champions on record and has done a TON for the company. They would be stupid to let his streak end to Ryback cleanly. But they have made ridiculous decisions in the past, so I guess anything is possible.

Punk gives Ryback the fingerpoke of doom, pinfall, and Punk, Heyman, and Ryback leave together.

I would use the WM13 Hart vs Austin type ending.basically Ryback passes out in the Anaconda vice.heres how it goes Ryback takes everything Punk throws at him & powers out of the Anaconda vice.ryback ends up delivering a crushing lariat to the ring post after Heyman distracts him. Punk punishes the arm and puts on the Vice but Ryback wriggles out. Punk handcuffs Ryback to the ropes & POURS on the hurt.chair shots, ringsteps dropped on the arm etc etc.he then puts the AV on Ryback while hes handcuffed and Ryback passes out after a hell of a struggle. result? Punk looks like a ruthless & evil genius.Ryback looks like a in WARRIOR.plus WWE can say Ryback has never been pinned or tapped out.... I completely agree with that type of finish. Punk has to win this match. Putting the title on Ryback this early would be a grave mistake. Horrible. Having Punk beat Ryback "cleanly" kills a lot of Ryback's current momentum, but it is the more desirable situation of the two. The absolute worst thing that could possibly happen is a no contest or dusty finish with no resolution. Not only does it do absolutely nothing for Punk or Ryback, and calls into question the legitimacy of the entire Hell in a Cell match (which, might I add, this match shouldn't be happening with this stipulation - just one of the dozens of issues with gimmick Pay-Per-Views, but that's a different conversation entirely.) Hell in a Cell is a knock down, drag out fight where they must be a winner. There's no ten counts. There's no disqualifications, two men enter, one man leaves. Anything else is cheap and a huge slap in the face to the great matches we've seen in the cell in the past. So, Punk has to win. But Ryback has to look like a machine. To me, outside of interference from someone like Lesnar, there's one way to do that. Ryback dominates Punk, but Punk uses as many dirty tactics as possible to stay in the match. He can't hit the GTS on Ryback. Ryback seems to counter it at every turn. Punk quickly turns to the Anaconda Vice. He locks it in multiple times throughout the course of the match. Over and over, wearing down Ryback each time. Somehow, Ryback keeps powering out. Eventually, one way or another, but interference from Lesnar, or use of foreign objects as Joker suggest, Punk locks it in one more time. Ryback is stuck in the hold for what feels like eternity. He never taps, but he passes out. Referee declares Ryback is unfit to continue. Punk wins, Ryback looks like a machine. That just adds fuel to the fire. Punk can go on to claim that he ended the undefeated streak, that he tamed the beast. Ryback, or more specifically, the commentators, can remark that Punk beat Ryback on a technicality and he was never pinned or made to submit.
