An interesting choice to have RVD and Richards as the main event. I can get behind Richards as a main event guy for the ECW brand, actually. Wow, I'm shocked that Guido actually won over Super Crazy. That was a pleasant surprise. Not sure about the segment involving Angle, Sabu and Sandman. I'm not interested in Sandman, really. I would've just kept it at Sabu and Angle, I think. I figured that RVD would win the main event, so nothing too shocking there. It seemed like a standard debut show. I'm expecting things to pick up after a few more shows. Good luck, duan

I was fine with Richards facing RVD simply because I feel bigger matches should be saved for proper feuds. I'm not a big fan of the F.B.I., so I was kinda sad to see Crazy lose. I do see that you're probably just setting it up for Tajiri's return. I thought Angle on ECW could've been just a great thing had it lasted, so I'm glad you're giving it a chance. I hope we see Sabu for some time though. One of the things I overall disliked about ECW was the originals leaving so soon for most of the part. I was surprised to see a 'happy ending' for RVD because, while I expected him to win, I thought someone would attack him after the match.
Good show, keep it up. Love the format and it seems it has tons of potential.

EXTREME CHAMPIONSHIP WRESTLING ON SCIFI #002 JUNE 20TH, 2006 - PEPSI ARENA; ALBANY, NY
The show starts with a video recap of our first ever edition of ECW on SciFi. The clips mostly highlight Rob Van Dam's historic win against Stevie Richards to officially become the new ECW Champion. Tonight, what will be the aftermath of what was an epic first episode last week?!
The same video opening highlighting all the ECW superstars is shown with some footage from last week already mixed in. Drowning Pool's 'Let The Bodies Hit The Floor' blasts as we make way into the Pepsi Arena for another edition of ECW on SciFi! Our commentary team, Joey Styles and Tazz welcome us to tonight's episode and talk about the historic win of RVD last week.
The New ECW champion makes his way down to the ring in street gear as the crowd goes crazy. RVD taunts with the crowd for a few moments before getting into the ring and starting to do what he came out here to do. He thanks the fans for their support and talks about how the new era of ECW has really begun now that he is ECW Champion. RVD then goes on to talk about how he will be ushering in the new age of ECW and the Rebirth of Innovation and that all started last week when he won the ECW Championship. Before too long, RVD's celebration was cut short by the World's Largest Athlete, the Big Show. Big Show tells RVD that it was quite the accomplishment to win the ECW Championship, but he won't have that title long since the Big Show is in ECW. Big Show tells RVD to pay close attention to his match later tonight against an ECW Original, Balls Mahoney since it will be a glimpse into RVD's future. Van Dam says he might not be able to tune in since he has some partying to do. RVD taunts Big Show and leaves the ring as the seven foot monster doesn't look pleased with the ECW Champion.
MATCH #1: JUSTIN CREDIBLE VS. TOMMY DREAMER Two ECW originals kick off the battle here tonight as the crowd is fully for Tommy Dreamer. Credible started things off at a fast pace and was able to keep Dreamer on the ground for a long time. Eventually, things got a bit extreme, of course, and we had some weapons involved in the match. Credible took a chair shot to the ribs and almost nailed a Superkick, but Dreamer ducked and drilled him with a Dreamer Driver on top of a street sign. Dreamer then hooked the leg and scored the three count in an impressive victory to kick things off here tonight on ECW. WINNER: TOMMY DREAMER
A hype video promoting the 'Chair-Swinging, Beer Chugging' freak...the Sandman, aired. It highlighted Sandman's illustrious career in ECW and showed some more recent highlights from ONSII and the damage he did last week to Kurt Angle and Sabu. What will this ECW original be up to next?
After the video, we quickly go backstage to the locker room area where Kurt Angle is standing by. Angle starts off by stating that he wasn't impressed with what competition the ECW originals had to offer and he was even more pissed off that they would go behind his back and attack him instead of facing the Olympic Gold Medalist face to face. So that's why he is calling Sabu out officially for next week on ECW as he wants a piece of the Arabian Nightmare!
MATCH #2: STEVIE RICHARDS VS. LITTLE GUIDO Another pair of ECW originals do battle in our second match of the night, as things heated up on SciFi. Richards, who lost the opportunity to become the new ECW Champion last week to RVD and he was quite pissed off. Guido, who scored a win on the inaugural episode of ECW, wasn't to be had to easy. These two put on a decent match but in the end, Richards came away with the win after a Stevie-T. WINNER: STEVIE RICHARDS
Richards celebrated his win and the crowd gave him a mixed reaction. Stevie signaled that he should be wearing the ECW Championship but not tonight. Guido nursed his neck as we cut to commercial break.
A dark alley is shown with smoke coming from it. As the smoke begins to rise faster, a scream is heard. After a few moments of silence, footsteps are head but no shadow is seen. Eventually, the entire screen goes black as we see someone smiling with big fangs and a maniacal laugh is heard.
Big Show is making his way down to the ring...our main event is coming up right after these short messages!
MAIN EVENT: BIG SHOW VS. BALLS MAHONEY Big Show looked more determined than ever in his first official match in Extreme Championship Wrestling and Balls Mahoney wasn't giving him an inch. After a dominant start by Show, Mahoney somehow powered back and looked like he was taking full control, until he made a costly mistake to try and hit Big Show with a chair. Show blocked the chair shot with his hand and Mahoney couldn't believe his eyes. From there on, it was all Big Show and eventually, Mahoney was brought down by a Chokeslam. WINNER: BIG SHOW
After the bout, Big Show added another chokeslam for good measure and then grabbed a microphone. He told the ECW Champion, Rob Van Dam, that he was looking into his future as he is calling him out for next week to meet him in the ring and be a man. After making those comments, Big Show added a THIRD monster chokeslam to Mahoney as the crowd booed. Big Show stood tall in the middle of the ring, dominant, to end this week's episode of ECW.

First off, I like the layout of this diary. It's crisp and not something I see often. Good opening promo between probably the two biggest stars on your roster not named Kurt Angle. Dreamer getting the win is fine, but please don't waste Justin Credible. I've always liked him. Nice bounce back win for Stevie Richards. Fangs? Could it be Kevin mother f'n Thorn? Show winning was obvious, and it was a good main event choice. Sabu/Angle and RVD/Show make for good first feuds for the new ECW. Overall, good stuff Duan.

Good promo from RVD and Big Show. I look forward to a feud between the two. As much as I like RVD, I'd rather have Big Show as champ. I expected Dreamer to get the win, so no surprise there. I really would like to see Credible used as more of an asset. I liked the promo from Angle. I'm liking his feud with Sandman & Sabu. Two guy who are hardcore to the bone, up against an all American wrestler. Genius. A good win for Stevie. Hopefully, you keep him up there in the title picture. I really like Stevie and think he could be used greatly. I'm thinking the vignette is for Kevin Thorn. I really like the way the vignettes transpire. I'm happy Big Show won. I though for a second Mahoney would win with the help of RVD, but I'm glad Big Show won. Big Show looked really good at the end of this episode. I really like how simple the layout is to your write-ups. Good work, man. I'm looking forward to the next episode.

- Pretty solid promo between RVD & Show. The match could be good, but please, no screwjobs. - I was impressed to see Credible facing Dreamer. All we saw from both for most part in WWE's ECW was jobbing, so I'm definitely glad this may not be the case. - I hope Sandman at least gets one shot at the ECW title down the line. - Angle vs Sabu? Yeah! I love that - I was expecting the F.B.I. to continue/start a feud with Crazy. Guess that wasn't the case, but at least it's good to see Stevie not being lost in the shuffle after last week. - Kevin Thorn. That's a bit obvious, but lets see what you have in store for him. - Good to see Show dominating. What I think they handled correctly was Show's dominance and you seem to be going for that path.
Nice second show.

Pretty good second show. It looks like you've got two cool feuds going in RVD/Big Show and Angle/Sabu. I'm anxious to see how Angle fares here since he never got a chance to really shine int he ECW brand after it was cut short. I'm still not quite sold on a Stevie Richards push but I'm willing to give it chance. Overall some good stuff. Let's see what you got for episode 3!

ECW on Sci-Fi: Tuesday 20th June 2006...Alrighty, good opening promo with Rob Van Dam once again opening up the show; although hopefully next week we can see a match or a segment involving someone other than the ECW World Heavyweight Champion open up the show; it's all down to proving the star power behind the brand. RVD's speech was nice, another celebratory one at that, and the Big Show's involvement was what it was, bringing us into the next program that Rob Van Dam has here in ECW. Hopefully his reign won't be a short one, by the way. Justin Credible and Tommy Dreamer wasted away on free television? Eh, acceptable I suppose. A nice opening contest to set the tone for this hour of Extreme Championship Wrestling. It will be interesting to see how you use the Sandman, especially in 2006: a video package may not do too much, though. Also "Chair Swinging, Beer Chugging Freak"? Take away "beer chugging", and you have Balls Mahoney's nickname. Kurt Angle's interview was quite an interesting one, and it appears as if we have our main event set for next week: well, hopefully it gets the spot as main event. Switches up the product a little bit. Stevie Richards remaining relevant with a win tonight is good, nice decision. I wonder where Little Guido will go from here. Hmm, surrealistic vignette. I'm calling Kevin Thorn. And lastly, a decent win for the Big Show, even if the main event didn't sound that good at all. Show destroying Balls was fine, but it really didn't do anything to make the viewer want to tune in. Would've been better suited in the mid-hour role, this just wasn't strong enough. Overall, a fair show, a slight decrease from last week though, all down to that main event segment. Looking forward to Kurt Angle facing Sabu next week, though.

- Good opening segment with RVD and Big Show, would be happy to see them booked. - Perfectly acceptable win for Tommy Dreamer. - Good promo for Sandman, since he is an original and looking to return. - Kurt Angle in ECW is strange since I was away from watching wrestling at this time, but cool! - Stevie Richards picking up the blowoff match after losing to RVD for the title. - Kevin Thorn possibly, and that's pretty cool. Make him bigger then he was. - Big Show warming up seems realistic. - Show picking up the win and looking dominant, ready for that title. - Overall, awesome show. Can't wait to read more.

6/22/06 ECW NEWS: RVD'S FUTURE REIGN, WHAT TO EXPECT, INJURY? &MORE- The thought within the backstage area is that Rob Van Dam's current title reign may be a long one. Paul Heyman wants to establish the ECW Championship right off the bat and wants to note that the prestige can only be rebuilt with a decent title reign. Heyman has also made note that not many 'originals' will get to hold the championship, as he sees this new ECW concept as a breeding ground for the next batch of stars in the WWE. We will see how this exactly plays out. - The Justin Credible/Tommy Dreamer match received good praise from the general consensus backstage. Dreamer & Credible will both be playing good enhancement roles for the newer superstars and may see some major time if they keep this up. - Word on the street is that Kurt Angle is banged up from the current tour and may need some time off in the near future. - Once again, ECW was the highest rated show on SciFi this week. WWE and SciFi are just about done signing a contract that will guarantee a full year of ECW episodes. - You may be seeing more superstars moving over before you see superstars move up from OVW. The feeling is that not many superstars are ready to make the jump, but the ones who do will play a major part in ECW.

EXTREME CHAMPIONSHIP WRESTLING ON SCIFI #003 JUNE 27TH, 2006 - ROANOKE, VA; CIVIC CENTER
OPENING: Our now normal ECW on SciFi opening kicks off the show tonight as we are treated to highlights of ECW stars past and present. Then, we are greeted by our broadcast team, Joey Styles & "The Human Suplex Machine" Tazz, as they seemed excited to run down the night's card. They announce that we will see some extreme rules action between Kurt Angle & Sabu in our main event. Angle put out the challenge last week and tonight, it is answered by the ECW Original Sabu!
MATCH #1: THE F.B.I [TONY MAMALUKE/LITTLE GUIDO] VS. AMISH ROADKILL & DANNY DORING: Some tag team action to kick off the evening as two original ECW teams square off. These two teams have some good chemistry in the ring which led to some excellent, fast paced action to start the night. Guido & Doring were in the ring for the longest amount of time, while Roadkill didn't see that much time in the squared circle. Things picked up after Mamaluke nailed a suicide dive onto the three other competitors, even taking out his own partner! In the end, it was Little Guido who connected with the Sicilian Slice on Doring to score the victory much to the crowd's bewilderment. WINNERS: THE F.B.I. BY PINFALL
FUHGETTABOUTIT: Afterward, Mamaluke & Guido celebrated with their valet Trinity, who is making her first appearance in the new ECW. Trinity celebrated with her men before heading back to the locker room. The FBI seem to be a force to be reckoned with here in the land of extreme.
THAT'S INCREDIBLE!: When we return from break, we are treated to a video package showcasing the impressive past of Justin Credible in ECW. Even though Credible jumped over the WWE before the real demise of ECW, he is forever an original and ready to make a name for himself in the new ECW.
A CHANGE COMING?: Stevie Richards is sitting in his locker room lacing up his boots. He talks about how he came so close to changing history and becoming the first ever 'New' ECW champion two weeks ago, but he cannot dwell on that. He will just have to be a little better next time, which will be soon. Richards vows to keep himself in the championship scene and he wants a piece of any ECW original next week.
MATCH #2: TOMMY DREAMER VS. THE BIG SHOW This match wasn't for the weak at heart, as Big Show proved his real dominance here with a killer showing over the heart and soul of ECW, Tommy Dreamer. Dreamer tried to start early and often, but Big Show put down each attempt and before he knew it, Dreamer was completely out of the match. Big Show could have ended the match sooner, but decided to manhandle Dreamer a little extra in the ring to prove a point. When it was all said and done, Big Show put Dreamer down with one hellicious chokeslam and scored the three count. WINNER: THE BIG SHOW BY PINFALL
SWINGING TURN: Afterward, Big Show celebrated his dominating win but was quickly interrupted as the ECW Champion, RVD, came down into the ring. He said that he is pretty impressed with the Big Show and was about to grant him a title shot before the Sandman came running through the crowd and caned both men! Sandman knocked RVD out with one shot and finally got Big Show to go down following THREE shots...the final one breaking the kendo stick in half! Sandman then drank a few cold ones as he walked up the ramp happy with himself. Where does this leave our World Championship picture?!
STILL A MYSTERY: A dark alley is shown with smoke coming from it. As the smoke begins to rise faster, a scream is heard. After a few moments of silence, footsteps are head but no shadow is seen. Eventually, the entire screen goes black as we see someone grinning with big fangs, this time dripping with blood, and a maniacal laugh is heard. The word soon appears on the screen then fades away into smoke.
MAIN EVENT: KURT ANGLE VS. SABU Our main event for the evening was surely an extreme one as these two put on a great ending for the fans. Sabu started hard and fast on Angle, who wasn't expecting that type of speed out of Sabu. Eventually though, Angle caught up to him and tried to keep him grounded with various holds and submissions. Sabu got things interesting when he brought out some tables and set them up on the outside. That would ultimately lead to his demise though, as Angle ended up putting him through one with a top rope Angle Slam that sent the crowd into a 'holy sh*t!' chant. The move looked straight out of old school ECW and Angle barely got the strength to roll Sabu into the ring and cover him up for the well deserved three count. WINNER: KURT ANGLE BY PINFALL
A LESSON IN INTENSITY: The referee helped Angle to his feet so he could celebrate his win over Sabu, but Angle refused the help and celebrated like he just won another gold medal. ECW came to a close with Sabu laying motionless in the ring and Angle overjoyed walking up the entrance way.

Decent enough 3rd episode, though it seems like you're still setting the table for stuff that may happen down the line with all the promos and stuff. So now you're adding Sandman to the RVD/Big Show feud? Just have to see how that turns out. The Angle/Sabu match sounds like it was a gret main event, I just wish you could have gone into a little more detail. Overall an okay show, let's see what happens in #4.

DARK MATCH: Tony Mamaluke def. Al Snow
EXTREME CHAMPIONSHIP WRESTLING ON SCIFI #004 JULY 4TH, 2006 - PHILADELPHIA, PA; WACHOVIA CENTER
EXPLOSIVE NEWS: Before our normal opening video package, we are joined by the owner and operator of ECW, Paul Heyman, who is standing in his office backstage. He talks about some big news he has tonight regarding ECW as a whole and everyone will have to wait to find out exactly what he is talking about. Heyman smiles as we cut away to our normal opening.
Stevie Richards laid an open challenge to any ECW original last week, Justin Credible is set to be in action and of course, just announced, Paul Heyman's big announcement!
NOT A HAPPY CHAMPION: Our ECW World Heavyweight Champion, Rob Van Dam, makes his entrance into the arena to a loud pop from the crowd. RVD seems to be all business here, but still stops to do the 'R-V-D' taunt that he is so known for. The ECW Champion starts to talk about how he was mentally preparing himself to go one-on-one with the Big Show, but it seems things have changed now that the Sandman has inserted himself into the title picture. Of course, with being a fighting champion, RVD has no problem facing anyone, he just wants to know what to expect. So he calls out BOTH men, claiming that he could be both because he is the 'whole damn show' and the crowd loves it. Instead of both men, RVD is greeted by only the Big Show, who looks just as pissed as RVD. Big Show comes out and tells RVD that he respects his courage of calling both men out, but Sandman shouldn't be in the title picture anyway! Big Show demands a one-on-one contest with RVD and he wants it tonight! Paul Heyman makes another appearance and seems annoyed at this situation. He tells Rob that by the end of the night he will know who the number one contender is because Big Show will square off with Sandman in our main event! The crowd seems to like this, as does RVD, and Big Show gets angry as we cut to break.
MATCH #1: JUSTIN CREDIBLE VS. BALLS MAHONEY Two ECW originals kick off our action tonight with some very extreme action. The crowd is really into this one as these guys know each other pretty from the dying years of the original ECW. Credible started the match strong and didn't let up for a good portion. Mahoney tried to nail Credible multiple times with a steel chair, but Justin ducked a few times and eventually caught Mahoney until the chin with a superkick. Credible then added some insult to injury by drilling the big man with a 'That's Incredible!' and scored the three count in our first contest. WINNER: JUSTIN CREDIBLE BY PINFALL
WHAT IN THE WORLD: A busy street, presumably in Philadelphia, was shown in the dark with cars passing by. All you can see is blurry lights as a very loud scream is heard and you can hear someone running. Eventually, the running stops and the scene is almost silent. Two shadows appear and start walking towards the screen before our clip ends with two big fangs grinning.
CATCHING UP WITH THE F.B.I.: When we return, Little Guido, Tony Mamaluke, and Trinity, also known as the Full Bloodied Italians, are standing by to give us a few words. They talk about how they are the best faction here in the land of extreme and how there needs to be some competition or they are walking out. Trinity puts over both competitors and then the three Italians pose as the interview ends.
MATCH #2: TOMMY DREAMER VS. STEVIE RICHARDS Richards waited patiently in the ring for his opponent before he was greeted by the heart and soul of ECW, Tommy Dreamer. Dreamer certainly had the crowd behind him and was geared up for this contest. This match was basically down the middle with neither man gaining an advantage for an extended period of time. Dreamer sensed the end and started setting Richards up for the Dreamer Driver, but was blindsided out of nowhere when NOVA attacked him with a missile dropkick. Richards then blasted Dreamer with a Steve Kick before scoring the three. WINNER: STEVIE RICHARDS BY PINFALL
REFORMATION?: After the bell rang, Nova tossed Richards a white shirt and it was revealed to have bWo written on it. Nova and Richards then shook hands and then celebrated as it appears we have seen the reformation of the Blue World Order here tonight! The crowd isn't too happy as Dreamer is attended to by the official.
DISGUSTED: We see pre-recorded comments from ECW's resident Olympic Gold Medalist, Kurt Angle. Angle starts talking about how he handed Sabu his ass last week, on Sabu's terms, and that he is above any of these freaks in ECW. He talks about how crappy the first run of ECW was and he doesn't know why these fans would want to see this kind of wrestling. Angle ends the promo by noting that he is here to bring the only kind of wrestling he knows; technical wrestling.
MAIN EVENT; #1 CONTENDER'S MATCH: SANDMAN VS. BIG SHOW After a few moments, Sandman finally got in the ring after his extended entrance with the crowd. Big Show was in no mood tonight and went to the Sandman quickly. This definitely wasn't a technically sound battle, but it got the job done for the fans. RVD came down to view the match about midway through and seem to throw off both competitors. Sandman tried to cane Sandman again like he did last week, but Big Show took the cane from his hands and broke it over his thigh! This impressed the crowd and took Sandman back by surprise. Eventually, the Sandman had to succumb to the big chokeslam of Big Show and that was all she wrote. After a huge chokeslam, Big Show pinned Sandman while staring down RVD who was in the entrance area. WINNER: BIG SHOW BY PINFALL
THIS IS EXTREME!: The match was over and it seemed like Van Dam and Big Show were going to get at each other, but before anything could happen, Paul Heyman came running down to the ring area. He told both men that they will be meeting each other for the ECW Championship, but not until August 2nd, as ECW comes to New York for a special TWO HOUR EDITION OF ECW! RVD and Big Show seem confident with the announcement and trash talk as Heyman tries to keep the two apart.

Solid episode. You've booked The Big Show as a strong #1 contender and the upcoming title match with RVD should be a good one. I see Richards is still getting pushed, but I don't know about bringing back the bWo, though. Interesting promo by Angle, I guess this is going to kick off some anti-hardcore campaign or something? Overall a nice episode here.

ECW on Sci-Fi: Tuesday 27th June 2006...Alright, fair opening contest with a re-enactment of their 2000/2001 ECW feud, between the Full Blooded Italians & Amish Roadkill and Danny Doring. I like what you're doing, with having the newer audience invited to watch matches and feuds from ECW's past take place at the start of the product (mind you, it's not like you have too much of a choice). Trinity hopefully will become a prominent member of the WWE womens division at some point, good talent. I like how you've changed up one of my old formats too, it helps establish the character better, me thinks. Justin Credible is here, nice! Hopefully he gets a better run this time around. Stevie Richards perhaps re-inventing himself? I like the idea of that. Up next, if you're trying to establish the Big Show as a real threat to Rob Van Dam, this should have main evented. Good win for the Show, and the aftermath was very nice with Rob Van Dam running down to the ring, just for the Sandman to get involved: isn't Sandman such a pain in the arse to book? Dang. The cliffhanger ending even signalled that it rightfully should have been the main event, really. It degrades the ECW World Heavyweight Championship prestige a little. Heck, Kurt Angle and Sabu could've opened! A hot start to ECW, unpredictable goings on, et cetera. Anyhow, good main event with Angle getting the win against Sabu, and overall a good show, although the ordering I would've done differently.
ECW on Sci-Fi: Tuesday 4th July 2006...Paul Heyman has some news? Interesting, let's get on with the show. Rob Van Dam kicking off the show was nice, a good promo on the Big Show; it's really hard to see RVD being angry, though. I'm surprised that there was minimal mention of the Sandman though. Sandman facing Show tonight sounds cool, though. If it was an Extreme Rules-style match, anyway. Justin Credible in his debut in WWECW, good win aganst Balls Mahoney. Hmm, and now we have another debut vignette? Interesting, Elijah Burke and Sylvester Terkay maybe? Or another ECW veteran. Hopefully this guy is good then, otherwise this could be a wasted project. The Full Blooded Italians' segment was fine, it's just a shame that there's no real competition for them here. Be cool to see a few WWE stars pop in every now and again, particularly the SmackDown! brand's roster. Imagine the FBI against Paul London and Brian Kendrick for the WWE Tag Team Championships, that'd be cool. At least until ECW starts to properly take off, anyway. Stevie Richards beating Tommy Dreamer was fine, oh Nova's here? I hope we see Al Snow or another ECW Original included into the mix of the new Blue World Order. Kurt Angle's promo was nice, but he came off sounding incredibly heelish. Interesting. And finally, obvious win for the Big Show against the Sandman in a contenders match; it never was going to be a classic with Sandman's non-existent in-ring abilities, but nevertheless. And finally, RVD against Show for the ECW World Heavyweight Championship is finally made - hopefully RVD retains the gold, though. A two-hour episode is nice, particularly in Hammerstain Ballroom. A good show, your best so far.

Heyman has big news!! Could it pertain to these "fangs". I hope Sandman wins as I don't like Big Show in ECW but I don't like Angle in it either. I really like Credible so I hope you do wonders with him. I already know who the pairs of fangs are so let's throw a swerve. Not a fan of FBI as I thought it was a dumb gimmick but you intrigue me with them here. Yes! Stevie is awesome and hopefully bWo takes out the FBI in a feud. This is why I don't like Angle here maybe add some more techians like Punk and he may fit in. Yea so I didn't think Sandman had a chance and I was………………………………right. Is this two hour ECW heymans it announcement? Great show Duan I love this sims but I wish others cared too

DARK MATCH: Tony Mamaluke def. Al Snow
EXTREME CHAMPIONSHIP WRESTLING ON SCIFI #005 JULY 11TH, 2006 - MINNEAPOLIS, MN; TARGET CENTER
PREVIOUSLY ON ECW: Before our opening package, we are treated to a recap video of last week's explosive episode. The video highlights the announcement from Paul Heyman about the next ECW Championship match at the Hammerstein Ballroom on August 2nd between ECW Champion Rob Van Dam and the new number one contender The Big Show. The video package ends with the stare down between the two men.
OPENING: The normal ECW opening video, highlighting all the wonderful talent in the Land of Extreme, is played and we go to the Target Center where our announce team is ready to greet and welcome us to another edition of ECW on SciFi! Joey Styles announces tonight that, as per ECW owner Paul Heyman, Rob Van Dam and Big Show will have a contract signing in the middle of the ring for their match in New York less than a month away. Also tonight, Justin Credible is in action!
MATCH #1: LITTLE GUIDO [W/TONY MAMALUKE & TRINITY] VS. SUPER CRAZY This one was a rematch from the first episode of ECW on SciFi and this was probably better than that encounter. The crowd was really feeling Super Crazy, getting behind him by making fun of Guido and Mamaluke. Guido got the upperhand the first time these guys met, but tonight, Crazy was able to put him down, to the F.B.I.'s surprise, after a Crazy-Bomb. WINNER: SUPER CRAZY BY PINFALL
SORE LOSERS: Mamaluke wasn't having his partner's loss as he jumped right into the ring and started to beat down on Crazy after the bell rang. Eventually, Guido would join in and the tandem were putting boots to Crazy. The attack was thwarted after a returning TAJIRI came running down to the ring to save his tag team partner. TAJIRI checked on Crazy as the F.B.I. retreated up the ramp.
WELCOME TO THE LAND OF EXTREME: Before we cut to a commercial break, we see both Big Show and the ECW Champion, Rob Van Dam, arriving to the building around the same time. Tonight, these two will be signing a contract to confirm their epic World Championship match in New York on August 2nd!
HOMICIDAL: A hype promo for the 'Homicidal, suicidal, genocidal...death defying' Sabu aired. This video highlighted Sabu clips both old and some from the past few weeks. Sabu will be in action next week and he will be crazier than ever! Sabu is what defines ECW!
MATCH #2: TOMMY DREAMER VS. HOLLYWOOD NOVA [W/BIG STEVIE COOL] Tonight, the fans were treated to the official re-debut of the bWo and Hollywood Nova. Dreamer faced the wrath of the this stable last week after Nova cost him his match against Richards. Dreamer was really in the zone tonight and took it right to Nova, who came out dressed similar to the man he is mocking, Hollywood Hogan. Richards tried to get involved a few times but eventually Dreamer took him out with a DDT on a steel chair on the outside! Tommy seemed to have the match all squared up before THE BLUE MEANIE came running through the crowd and nailed Dreamer with a stop sign. That allowed Nova to roll onto of Dreamer and score the three count! WINNER: HOLLYWOOD NOVA BY PINFALL
WE'RE TAKING OVER!: The crowd is stunned as the last man they expected to see tonight was the Blue Meanie. Meanie is dawning a bWo shirt and it seems like we have a full reunion here in ECW. Dreamer holds his head in the ring and looks on as the bWo celebrates and dances up the entrance way. This feud is far from over!
STRAIGHT EDGED NEW COMER: The camera cuts to pre-recorded clips from a man who calls himself CM Punk. Punk explains that he lives a straight-edge lifestyle; he doesn't smoke, drink, do drugs, have promiscuous sex or have a pill dependency. Punk makes comments about how the ECW World Champion has a long history of being associated with drugs, more specifically marijuana. Punk calls this disgraceful and claims that he is better than every curtain jerker in the ECW locker room. Punk says he is coming to ECW to save it from itself.
MATCH #3; JUSTIN CREDIBLE VS. DANNY DORING This is technically our main event for this week and the crowd was definitely all behind Justin Credible. Both men are ECW originals and while Credible is a former World Champion, Danny Doring is known to be a tag team specialist. Credible started fast and powerful and didn't let up for one second. Credible delivered a thunderous super kick to Doring's jaw but decided that wasn't enough for this match. Justin Credible finished Doring off after delivering the 'That's Incredible!' on top of the steel steps! The crowd cheered as Credible scored the three count. WINNER: JUSTIN CREDIBLE BY PINFALL
THIS IS OUR HOME!: After the pinfall, Credible rolled out of the ring and grabbed a microphone for some quick words. He called out the Olympic Gold Medalist, Kurt Angle, and his words against the original ECW last week. Credible told Angle that he should watch his back because this is his home...the land of the extreme! Tonight was a prime example of just what he could do at anytime.
MYSTERY: A busy street, presumably in Minnesota, was shown in the dark with cars passing by. All you can see is blurry lights as a very loud scream is heard and you can hear someone running. Eventually, the running stops and the scene is almost silent. Three shadows now appear and start walking towards the screen before our clip ends with two big fangs grinning.
CONTRACT SIGNING: It was now time for the ECW Championship contract signing between RVD and the Big Show. When we returned from break, Big Show was waiting for RVD in the ring, sitting in an office chair in front of the table that displayed the contracts. Paul Heyman was out next to monitor the signing and to make sure nothing crazy happens. RVD comes down to a huge pop from the Minnesota crowd and as he walked to the ring, he taunted the Big Show with his 'RVD' chant. Heyman made the two men sit down and explained the terms of the contract, which was clear as day. Big Show told Heyman to be quiet and he snatched the contract out of his hand and signed it. RVD told Big Show to chill out and then RVD let Heyman finish explaining before he signed. Both men had signed and Heyman made it official for August 2nd! After a few minutes of staring, Big Show got up from the table first and out of nowhere, RVD threw the table the Big Show's way! Big Show was temporarily distracted and RVD started to throw some kicks his way. The two men went at it and eventually, the brawl ended with Big Show throwing RVD through the table after it was set up in the corner by Van Dam himself. Big Show stood tall over the fallen champion as the crowd looked on worried and ECW came to a close.

7/13/06 ECW NEWS: SCIFI DEAL CONFIRMED; BLUE MEANIE'S RETURN; AND MORE!- As of last night, World Wrestling Entertainment and the USA Television group signed a contract extension for ECW on the SciFi network through September 2007. ECW has been the highest rated show on SciFi each week its aired and it seems to be only growing. With this deal comes various multiple hour shows from time to time for special events. The first multiple hour show will be held on August 2nd when ECW goes to New York! - The Blue Meanie (Brian Heffron) has signed a contract with WWE to work for their ECW brand after burying the hatchet with Vince McMahon, John Layfield and the WWE in general. Meanie and the WWE were able to sort out their problems and get a contract signed at the 11th hour so Meanie could have debuted last night to reform the bWo. - The promo last night from CM Punk was well received from some veterans in the backstage area. It appears Punk wrote the promo himself and Paul Heyman was so impressed by it that he let Punk read it on air. Paul Heyman and the WWE expect big things from this new comer from Ohio Valley Wrestling and previous independent fame, including Ring of Honor.

Decent enough show here, though there wasn't too much happening outside the contract signing and a couple of debuts with CM Pkun, The Blue Meanie and Tajiri. I can see Pink and Tajiri doing well in the ECW brand, while Meanie might provide a few laughs with the bWo. It seems like you're plugging the Aug 2nd show as your major checkpoint, and you've done a good job building up RVD vs. Show. Hopefully you get some other nice storylines going as well. Overall another solid job.

A good start to the show with Crazy/Guido kicking off the show. No surprise that Crazy went over. I had a feeling that Tajiri was going to come out to save Crazy. I like it. I'm not big on reforming the bWo , at all. I was hoping that Richards would get a singles pust not be assoicated with Meanie and Nova. A weak main event wrestling wise but it makes sesne for the contract signing closing the show. A decent contract signing that was clearly going to get phyiscal, like they all do. An average show this week.
