Digging this layout bro. Good opening contest, always loved their encounters back in the original ECW and I like Tajiri coming to the rescue. Love that Show/RVD is being built for the Hammerstein Ballroom and not a WWE PPV. MEANIE!!! Nice to see the bWo get a win. Punk promo is all kinds of great, cannot wait for his debut. Please make Justin Credible relevant, love that he's feuding with Kurt Angle. Solid, if not predictable contract signing, hope to see RVD retain on August 2nd.

ECW on Sci-Fi: Tuesday 11th July 2006...Tony Mamaluke defeating Al Snow. Shame, I would love to see Snow get another mini push in there somewhere. A big hype for the upcoming match between Rob Van Dam and Big Show, a contract signing, in the Land of Extreme? More than just a table break will happen, surely. Decent fast-paced match to kick off the show with Super Crazy getting the win against Little Guido. I think you'll need some extra light-heavyweights to steal from the independent scene or RAW or SmackDown! if you want to keep putting on these sorts of matches, I'm sure even the ECW audience are tired of Guido/Crazy matches brought over from the old days. Ah, Tajiri makes the save for Super Crazy! Good tag team match set-up for the Full Blooded Italians against Tajiri and Crazy. Good vignette for Sabu, keeping him a household name. Hollywod Nova wins because of the Blue Meanie? I think what you could do with the Blue World Order is bring up someone from Deep South or Ohio Valley Wrestling to play more of a main event-quality star here on ECW. Unsure what his parody would be though, maybe something Randy Savage inspired. Though I'm not sure in these WWE waters that they'd permit that. Just to allow Rob Van Dam a cool second tier of stars to defend his ECW World Heavyweight Championship against, in any event. It carries over that thought of how anybody can challenge for the gold from the original promotion. CM Punk's coming, neato! Don't rush him straight to the gold, though. He needs a big enough platform for his inevitable ECW World Heavyweight Championship reign, should Paul Heyman continue to be in charge of the book. It seems like Punk is starting off as a heel, that should be interesting. Justin Credible defeating Danny Doring was obvious, a filler match to get Credible over some more. Credible calling out Kurt Angle is cool, it sets for Angle's first feud win on the brand. Hmm, Kevin Thorn vignette as well. Cool, I just hope that you don't overrun the show in vignettes. Rob Van Dam and Big Show's promo was a good, solid way to close the show, and a table break did happen. I think that a Heyman heel turn is expected, though really. A good edition overall, it advanced a lot of storylines and gave us something to look forward to with the Sabu, Thorn and Punk vignettes.
