Whats your worst ever experience with Hasbros?
Mine was when i was about 9 years old, it was my birthday and my grandad (who was a wrestler over here) took me to Hamleys (London) to buy me whatever i wanted. The hasbros filled a hole wall but Demolition stood out for me so he bought me a few but Ax, Smash and Crush were my favourites. About 3 days later I took them to my cousins but had to leave them there because I was going somewhere after, the next day when i came back my cousin had swapped the 3 for a battered up Akeem and Jake the Snake
I was gutted

i had a similar experience - i had JUST got legion of doom, a so called friend came over to do a tournament (as you do with new tag teams) - when he left so had l.o.d!! Luckily enough my mums a big scary woman so it wasnt long before they made their return - teaming with purple ultimate warrior to defeat all three demolition

I never really had a bad experience with Hasbros, although a baby cousin once chewed on Rick Martel's head, and I was too grossed out to touch the figure for a long time (I was a kid, too).
I do remember that it was frustrating how some figures were so tough to find that I never even saw them in stores (Taker 2, Luger, Bam Bam, 123 Kid), and others hung around faaar into the Jakks BCA days (the Rockers, mini-figure packs).

When i was younger i kept all my hasbro figures on top of my dresser inside the ring. I came home one day to see that my undertaker and razor had some how fallen off the dresser and broke off there arm.

#1 I was pitted when my buddy got me a ticket to go to In Your House #1(in Syracuse, NY my hometown) with him for his birthday and I got him Yokozuna and Giant Gonzales as presents, but was bummed the whole time that I didn't have them to play with.
#2 Fast forward 15 years, I was gutted when I realized my wife's best-friend let her kids play with my collection and that one of them disappeared and was ruined at her house. Of course it couldn't be loose Rocker Marty Janety, it had to be Dusty Rhodes. Even though he was not common I had 2 loose for some reason so crisis was adverted.

Mine and my brothers near complete collection was stolen when we were burgled. We were just about to start collecting the green carded figures but after the rest were stolen we didn't bother.

To be honest, I cannot really say I've ever had a really bad experience with hasbros.
But I suppose if I was to pick something - it would be the fact, that I could NEVER find a Dusty Rhodes MOC in any toy shop that I entered.
Infact, the figure was that rare it didn't even make the foreign market - I have never seen a foreign Dusty MOC - they are all on American cards that say: 'with Dust Buster!'

-One experience is something my family still gives me crap about. When I was 5 years old, I was with my Mom and my brother at a K-Mart. I found an Andre the Giant there and I BEGGED her for it. Well, I was probably more annoying than anything else but I through a temper-tantrum and was very overdramatic I guess and cried and said I was having a heart attack even! LOL. This continued all the way home. Guess what? I never saw one in stores ever again and she admits to feeling bad (especially as it turned out to be a bit collectible and valuable years later). Anyway, after my Dad passed away almost two years ago, I decided to take some of the life insurance money and cheer myself up. Although it is not in the greatest condition, I now have on my desk a loose Andre Hasbro.
-In elementary school I sold some of my Hasbros for next to nothing. I think part of me didn't care as much about those figures, and part of me wanted to have friends that would get into collecting wrestling figures as well. In any case, I sold Earthquake, Typhoon, Steamboat, and I think Snuka for just a few bucks.
-My best friend David was moving away in 2nd Grade. He and I used to talk wrestling and shared and for some reason had an obsession with Papa Shango. My Mom said I could get him a going away gift and I REALLY tried to get him a Papa Shango Hasbro but couldn't find one anywhere. I think my Mom got him something lame like El Matador.
-I bought an Ultimate Warrior one day and after playing with him, put him away with my other figures. My brother and I had been fighting as I recall and he just happened to notice that night that Warrior's arm was broken...I still don't believe that that was a coincidence.
-Why our dog was a teething puppy, he chewed up my Lex Luger, WCW Galoob Belts, and the Million Dollar Belt pretty good.
-Although not a Hasbro story, I recall my dad getting angry with me, picking up my new Jakks Series 1 Goldust, going outside, and just throwing it as hard as he could. To be fair, I was probably being quite disrespectful but his behavior that evening is something I will never forget. It broke the arm off the figure (not hard to do). My Mom bought me a new one not too long after.
-I saw the following figures only ONCE in retail and didn't get them/couldn't get them: Andre The Giant, Dusty Rhodes, Nasty Boys, and Koko B. Ware. You can add the Mini-figures/Royal Rumble figures in there as well.
-I NEVER saw Nailz or ANY Green carded figures in stores.

I bought a French carded Ultimate Warrior #3 at a toy show in 1998 for $5. Could have had the American version for $20 but it didn't matter to me at that time to have the American card.

My worst experience was when I started seeing Jakks figures in the stores. That was the end of me buying new WWF figures.

Never finding the Nasty Boys. I saw every other figure (green cards included) in stores. Did this happen to anyone else with them?

Never finding the Nasty Boys. I saw every other figure (green cards included) in stores. Did this happen to anyone else with them? Yes. There were 3 big toy stores all within very close proximity to me, and I was checking them out at least once per week. Never saw the Nasty Boys. Of course, every other tag team was radily available everywhere, but I already had them all. Others that I really wanted but could never find were Koko, Bam Bam, any Bret, Undertaker, Mr. Perfect, Razor, Yoko, or HBK, and green cards. Warrior 3 almost made that list but I remember finally finding him and probably never saw him again. Same w/Kamala and Owen Hart, I think. For some reason, Andre and Dusty were always around during the release of the first few series.

Actually, tell a lie, I might have just remembered a bad hasbro experience (although I'm not actually sure if this counts as a bad experience)
about 15 years ago, in my local pound shop, they had a huge abundance of Rowdy Roddy Piper MOCS (naturally they were a pound each) the amount of Roddy's they had were ridiculous, seriously nothing short of about 60 in a huge bucket - and I just wish I bought loads of them back then, could have earned myself a bomb on ebay.
as for whether the cards were American or foreign I cannot remember, but they were only £1.
