Mine has got to be when at Christmas one year i got a number of new MOC Hasbro's and being the kid that you are at Christmas i opened them all up (how now i wish i didn't as would love to have them all MOC again), but as i was playing with them, I couldn't find the bones that go with Papa Shango only to look under the dining room table to see my dog happily munching away on them. They were ruined Luckily for eBay though, years later i got the bones again!

Mine happened as an adult; just got my MOC Honky Tonk Man from E-bay. I collect loose, but wanted to round things with a carded Hogan, Mounties and HTM (the two later I met at convention).
As soon as I got it out to the package, bubble cleanly unglued. Bugger!

I had a Shawn Michaels figure stolen from me when I was 10. That was pretty rotten

when I was younger. Me & My best friend would take the Hasbros & give them funny names. The Ones I remember, Andre The Giant was Babe Ruth. Shawn Michaels was Pamela Anderson (Hey he was pretty LOL) & Hulk Hogan was Bob Barker. Don't know why Hogan was Barker but as they say the price was right... Man those were the days.

Never finding the Nasty Boys. I saw every other figure (green cards included) in stores. Did this happen to anyone else with them? I never saw the Nasty Boys in stores. I got them for Christmas one morning as a kid, and couldn't believe it. I later found out my parents had ordered them directly by calling Hasbro. Imagine trying to do that with a tough to find figure today!

I traded my Hasbros for my friend's Amiga system for a weekend, kind of a trade-borrow. At the end of the weekend, when we gave everything back, my Skinner and IRS weren't there.

I remember my Dad getting me Doink the Clown and I broke one of his fingers within minutes of owning the figure, I was really upset. Also I agree with never finding Nasty Boys in stores, those were the only Hasbros I've never seen in stores, ever. That was very annoying.

Yeah - the fingers on Doink could snap very easily.
I also found the black spikes on legion of doom's red shoulder armour snapped easy too.

my worse experience has to be with a certain elbow error figure, which got bumped upto over £800. Thankfully I wasn't the winning bidder. And its very funny now watching the idiot try and sell the same thing for £600. I do feel like messaging the clown with abuse, but its not worth it.

So what was the actual deal with that Bart Gunn error figure then?
was it genuine - but whenever somebody won the bid, the ebayer pulled it from the auction, and kept it.
or a very carefully, crafted fake?

I had ordered the Nasty Boys from eBay as I never had them as a child. They were coming from the Philippines, it took four months to get them and the seller was banned from eBay during that period. Alls well that ends well though, they eventually came in and when they did, it was a great surprise

I think my worst was my sister snapping my first Warrior figure in half.

How many times was that Gunn figure re-listed? ...and under different seller accounts too. If I owned that figure I'd simply have had it checked out by say a grading authority who'd have confirmed under strict conditions - UV lamp ect - that it hadn't been tampered with. End of mystery!
