Today when it finally dawned on me that it was November, I suddenly realized that the Royal Rumble isn't too far off. While Punk/Cena vs. The Rock will no doubt be huge, I keep thinking of the Rumble match itself. And I honestly would love it if Kofi Kingston won it. I mean, the guys been either the Tag Team, IC, US champ for the majority of his career and i've been dying to see him take the next step and become a main event guy. What better opportunity than the Rumble? Anyway, do you think 2013 will be the year that Kofi finally takes the last step towards main eventing or will he continue to stay in the mid card?

No way, Kofi isn't good enough to be in the main event, I don't know what people see in him; but he's a mid card spot monkey at best.

Dolph or Kofi and I'll be happy.

I doubt that will happen, but I would love for it to happen.
My guess is Ryback will win it.

I think once Punk is out of the title picture, so probably May/June/July put him in a fued with Kofi, least that way Punk will put Kofi over and make him look huge unlike Orton a few years back

A Punk/Kofi feud would rock, but personally I would like to see the title on the line between the two of them.
I could see Kofi winning the Rumble and going onto losing at WrestleMania though, which could kick start the feud with Punk.
And WrestleMania would be headlined by Rock/Cena II

Ryback or John Cena are winning the Royal Rumble and facing either the WHC...or (if Cena wins) The Rock.
I'll be honest, Kofi just isn't a main event caliber guy to me. He has no mic skills, his move set is ok...but not believable to be competitive against most guys.
Ryback has really caught on in the last few weeks in the same way that Batista did in 2004. WWE needs to just keep doing what they're doing (not shoving him down our throats but at the same time continue pushing him).

MASSIVE difference, but what I think of Kofi is what I thought of Edge in 2002: not main event World Champ material. I dunno, he could progress very very quickly, much like Edge did.

He'll need a major revamp to advance further than he has.
....A major revamp and WWE actually follow through with it, unlike last time with his Orton feud.

Cena is going to win the Rumble to set up for Rock/Cena at Mania.
I'd still be surprised if Ryback is even relevant by the time the Rumble rolls around.

Its almost a given Cena is winning the rumble if Rock wins the belt. So then WWE can pull the you never know what can happen in WWE card.

John Cena won't win the Royal Rumble.
Everyone thought Randy Orton was going to win it this year but he didn't. Cena won't either.

I wouldn't be surprised if he wins another Rumble down the line after his 2013 win to rival Austin's Rumble victory's.
