Or Ric Flair going to the top rope, only to get thrown off every time. I like to think that if he ever got to pull a move that it would be a 450. I saw him pull off a top rope move once. It was a double axe handle. In fact, at that point, it was the only time I'd ever seen anyone successfully pull off a top rope double axe handle. And as far as the question at hand goes...I thought it was to avoid getting run into. I saw him hit it a few times. It was only ever when he was a face though.

This may seem a pointless post to you all but... You know when wrestler irish whip's their opponent into the ropes, why do they always dive on the floor infront of their feet as they're just coming off the ropes? only to have the jump over them? like, it happens all the time and i dont get the point of it? That's a very interesting question you have there and to be honest, your best guess is mine. I've also questioned why the wrestlers decide to play troll under the bridge in the middle of the match but it has never came to mind to ask here for some reason.
