Official Monday Night RAW Thread 11/12/12

I have to agree with most of what Chip said regarding Punk.

My biggest issue with Raw this week (and for the past three weeks, overall) has been the total and complete lack of direction when it comes to Survivor Series. The show is a joke. It's a jumbled mess and WWE couldn't care less. Is that really how you want to treat one of the big four? It hardly even feels like it matters.

First they spend an entire Raw hyping the elimination match. Then they spend the next week tearing it apart. Then, with one week to go, instead of putting some fire behind the pieces they've attempted to rebuild, they continue to build the show as if it's the original card. Absolutely senseless.

Why is John Cena in the WWE Title match and not in a match with Ziggler, or at the very least, part of Team Foley?

Why is Team Foley still Team Foley? He has no investment in it whatsoever.

Why did Ziggler need to lose to Orton AGAIN, and then not even get the pinfall in the tag victory?

Sheamus/Big Show is still baseless and boring. You think attacking William Regal is going to get people to give a crap?

Brad Maddox is written off in the laziest way humanely possible. They used him to give Punk a cheap win and then got rid of him in the most predictable scenario imaginable. And give me a break with the ambulance and paramedic crew. This was nothing more than a Ryback squash from months ago with a little bit of build behind it and a way to quickly dispose of a storyline that was going nowhere.

Go ahead and add in the fact that on his first night back, King has already begun making the commentary booth absolutely dreadful. He and Cole both working as faces is a joke. "I don't like Antonio Cesaro." "Well, I don't like him either." Fantastic. Thank you for the insight, and for failing to help establish credibility for a struggling mid-card talent. Awful.

And never give Cena vs. Punk away on free TV. That match can main event any Pay-Per-View it wants, under no circumstance should it happen on Raw, especially with a decisive finish.

On the bright side, the potential Miz face turn has me interested, and Bryan was fantastic as always. That's about where the positivity ends.

Last night in a nutshell is a perfect example of everything that is wrong with this company at the present time

Ziggler jobs to Orton off a distraction
Kofi jobs to ADR off a distraction
This is good for NO ONE. Ziggler is the official MITB jobber, and Kofi is the ing INTERCONTINENTAL CHAMPION what is he doing in tag team matches??

Big Show squashes Regal because he's a big bad giant (like we didn't already KNOW this?)
Sheamus squashes Otunga FOR NO REASON

We are getting an NXT jobber turned ballroom dancer as our latest and greatest "gimmick"

As soon as Ross is gone we are back to vanilla cookie-cutter commentary. Ross spent a month putting over Cesaro, Cole & King go right back to "he's a meanie"

They are starting the process of killing Team Hell No. Bryan can't win a ing singles match and is consistently made to look incompetent but Miz steps in for one night and "saves the day" and all the commentators were talking about is how amazing Kane & Miz were as a team (it was ONE match)

The end of the show is focused on Cena & Ryback holding the WWE title while Punk is pretty much the cowardly puny little guy who is trying to jump over them so people will see him.

Yea, But he played it perfect and you know he is coming out of SS with the gold. Punk loves being the heal, its his very nature to be a heal as he has always had heal heat from ROH to now.

BTW. I love your Punk collection.

Lol, the whole reason for me to come look at this thread, to see everyone's reaction at that!

They are....however thats all Kofi has done for the past almost 2 years. He's the Intercontinental SINGLES champion....he should be a ing FEUD for the title....not jobbing to ADR in a pointless tag match when ADR is feuding with Randy Orton

It's probably the best thing I've seen since Punk's pipe bomb.
