Today marks the seventh anniversary of the unfortunate death of Eddie Guerrero. The wrestling world lost a true legend that day and he will be forever missed. I've been wanting this figure for a long time, and finally gave in to a great deal on eBay. Of all the days it arrived, it was today. It's a great figure, with a great likeness of Eddie and it will go in a place of honor amongst my collection. "I love you Eddie . . . always and forever." - Vickie Guerrero's tweet today. "Seven years ago, I lost my uncle, brother, friend. The whole world lost a hero, but heaven gained a returning son. Eddie Guerrero, gone but not forgotten." - Chavo Guerrero's tweet today. Viva la raza!

I miss Eddie Guerrero. I wish he was still alive. There isn't one day where I don't think about Eddie Guerrero in some capacity. His death really hit me hard.

When I found that legends figure this year at Big Lots finally, it was definitely one of my favorite finds since I started collecting Mattel. I actually go two of the figure, so I have one of him, arms spread, proudly wearing the title, and another in a classic, Lie, Cheat Steal pose, with Eddie on his knees, one hand up, with the other behind his back. A great figure for a great wrestler. Also have the WMH Eddie which is another good one.
Like someone said in the other thread, Eddie was a rare talent that could play any angle in wrestling. Bad ass, uncaring heel, cowardly heel, fun loving face that joked around, the inspiration good guy that could over come the odds. There are not many people in the history of wrestling that could do that like Eddie could.

So awesome that it came today. I've picked up a lot of legends in the last couple weeks and I kept hoping I'd come across him. Maybe I'll hit up the bay.

Eddie was amazing and so is that figure. It's one of the few legends I don't have but still really want. I'll have to order it one of these days.

He's a great figure, always stays in the front row no matter how many times I move the stuff around. He means that much. Those tweets made me choke a little. I really liked Eddie ever since I was a kid watching WCW in awe of the Cruiserweight division. I thought Jakks always put forward a good effort on his figures, and was really, really glad that Mattel did too.

I miss Eddie a lot. I love his figure too. He sits above all my other ones. Sometimes I put Vickie with him. Congrats on getting an awesome figure.
