October 18, 2012The show opens with a video recapping everything that happened at Bound for Glory. We go to the Impact Zone, where the Aces & Eights, with Devon, are in the ring. Devon grabs the mic.Devon, “Last Sunday at Bound for Glory, the Aces & Eights gained full access to the Impact Zone. That means that we can hurt anybody at anytime. That means that the entire roster, now has to look over their shoulder at every turn! The Aces & Eights are a force that can’t be stopped.”Just then Bully Ray’s music hits and he comes down to the ring.Bully, “What the hell are you doin’? Right now, it’s taking everything I have not to beat the livin’ hell out of you. But, I want answers. Why Aces & Eights?”Devon, “Why? WHY?!? When my contract was coming to end here at Impact Wrestling, no one made an effort to resign me. I was the Television Champion and yet no one cared that I was about walk out that door. Hogan could have resigned me, but he didn’t. No one cared that Devon was gone, except for the Aces & Eights. They saw that the company had done me wrong and they wanted to help me get back on my feet. They believed in me! They trusted me! They were the ones that dusted me off and showed me the light. When I was released I thought I had done something wrong. I thought that I had screwed up. But these gentlemen showed me the truth. I didn’t do anything wrong, the company did wrong.”Bully, “I said that it’s taking everything in me not to beat your ass, well, I’ve got nothing left in me!”Bully charges Devon, but the Aces & Eights attack Bully Ray as Devon escapes to the backstage area. Bully continues to get pummeled in the ring until Kurt Angle, AJ Styles, Sting, Garett Bischoff, and Wes Brisco hit the ring. The Aces & Eights flee the ring as Sting checks on Bully Ray.Backstage we see Magnus walking down a hallway, it looks like he’s on next!Commercial BreakTelevision Championship Magnus def. Samoa Joe to retain Magnus was very impressive in his first defense as Television champion. He cleanly defeated Samoa Joe with an elbow drop. |
After the match Magnus got the microphone.Magnus, “What I just did is only a sample of things to come. I will never lose this title and I can guarantee that I will be the greatest champion this company has ever seen. Magnus is going on to bigger and better things, so trust me when I say that 2013 will be the year of Magnus.”In Hogan’s office, we see Hogan on the phone.Hogan, “The deal was that we do the match and you return Park! That was the deal! You have until the end of tonight to return him or Aces & Eights will be in some serious trouble, brother!”We see a graphic saying that Austin Aries will speak, later tonight. Commercial BreakWe return to see Tara standing in the ring. Tara, “Ladies and Gentlemen, you saw him at Bound for Glory but now it’s time he got a proper introduction. Please welcome, my Hollywood boyfriend, Jessie Godderz!” Jessie comes down to the ringJessie, “Thank you, thank you. Ladies and Gentlemen, now please welcome the NEW Knockouts Champion, Tara!”The crowd boos heavily for the power couple as they start to kiss, just then Brooke Hogan comes out on the stage.Brooke, “Congratulations, Tara! You are the new Knockouts champion. And because you are the Knockouts champion, that means that you have to defend the Knockouts championship! I just got done speaking with Miss Tessmacher and she is using her rematch clause next week!”Jessie, “You can’t do that her! Do you know she is?! Do You know who I am?!”Brooke, “No, I don’t. Good luck, next week.”Brooke leaves as Tara and Jessie are nearly crying in the ring.In the parking lot, we see Bobby Roode exiting his car. The cameraman asks him how he’s been doing since Bound for Glory.Roode, “How am I doing? I just lost to James Storm in a fluke victory. I don’t get it. First Aries, now Storm. No one can really beat me. I’m going to prove it tonight. Just watch what I do to James Storm.”RVD def. Joey Ryan In his first official match in Impact Wrestling, Joey Ryan comes up short against the Whole F’n Show. RVD won the match with a 5 Star Frog Splash. |
RVD celebrates his victory, but turns around right into a Carbon Footprint from the returning Matt Morgan! Morgan looks at RVD’s lifeless body, then leaves through the crowd.Commercial BreakWe return to get a replay of Matt Morgan’s return. We then see Matt Morgan in the parking lot, where the cameraman asks him what he’s doing back. Morgan doesn’t answer and keeps walking. We go back into the Impact Zone to see the World Tag Team Champions of the World make their way into the ring.Daniels, “At Bound for Glory, we defeated the two teams that everyone thought would beat us. The World Tag Team Champions of the World are still the World Tag Team Champions of the World! This is not a time for Aces & Eights, this is not a time for Austin Aries and Jeff Hardy, this is a time to celebrate.”Kazarian brings in two appletinis while balloons and confetti falls from the ceiling. Just as the party was getting started, Garett Bischoff made his way into the ring.Kazarian, “What are you doing? Last time I checked, we didn’t invite you and this is an invite only party.” Garett, “I’ve just had enough of you two bragging so much. Just like I figure out when facing my Dad, the ones who brag the most are the ones easiest to beat!”Daniels, “Oh, so Bischoff’s kid thinks he’s tough. You think we are easy to beat?! We just beat Chavo, Hernandez, AJ Styles, and Kurt Angle. We are not easy to beat, we are the World Tag Team Champions of the World!”Garett, “If two aren’t so easy to beat, then why don’t you prove it.”Kazarian, "Sure, we’ll prove it. How do you want this to go down, boy?”Garett, “I say, tonight we have ourselves Garett Bischoff vs. Kazarian!”Kazarian, “I say...”Kazarian and Daniels jump Garett and they start the beat him down, until Wes Brisco ran down and made the save. Daniels and Kazarian leave the ring and continue to taunt Garett and Wes.Commercial BreakGarett Bischoff def. Kazarian A back-and-forth match that saw Kazarian taunting Garett throughout. Garett ended up catching Kazarian in a Small Package for the win. |
After the match Daniels rushed into the ring, only to be stopped by Wes Brisco.Backstage we see King Mo in the locker room. The cameraman asks him about Bound for Glory.Mo, “The experience was great. To see, my boy, James Storm pin Roode, such a great feeling!”Robbie E and Robbie T interrupt.Robbie E., “Look at this big Rob. We’ve got ourselves and MMA star. You think you can just walk into our business and take over, bro? You think you can stick your nose where it doesn’t belong and get away with it? You didn’t deserve to be at Bound for Glory, my dude. You know who wasn’t on Bound for Glory? Robbie E.!”Mo, “Look man, I don’t want a problem.”Robbie E.,” Too bad bro, because you’ve got one!”Robbie E. swings at Mo, but Mo catches him with a right hand that knocks him out. Mo stares at Robbie T., who just leaves.Commercial BreakJames Storm fought Kurt Angle to a no contest. It was a fantastic match, that saw Bobby Roode come out and attack James Storm. Roode continued to assault him, until Kurt Angle hit Roode with an Angle Slam. Roode goes to the back, while Angle helps Storm to his feet. |
Commercial BreakBackstage we see Kurt Angle looking furious. The cameraman asks him about the Angle Slam to Roode.Angle, “Roode got what was coming to him. Storm beat him at Bound for Glory and he had no business being out there in our match tonight. Roode’s a stuck-up brat that deserves to be punished.”Storm walks up to Angle.Storm, “Sorry, man. I know we had a great match going, but Roode just won’t leave it alone. I beat him, we are through!”Angle, “I know, man. How about next week, I teach Roode a lesson?”Storm, “I would like that very much.”Miss Tessmacher def. Gail Kim Tessmacher made quick work of the former Knockouts champion and won with the Tess-Shocker. |
Tessmacher celebrated her victory as a graphic hypes her rematch with Tara next week. Backstage we see Hulk Hogan walking toward the ring, he is then joined by Sting.Commercial BreakHogan and Sting are in the ring.Hogan, “Aces & Eights, we had a deal. You are supposed to release Joseph Park from your clubhouse and I suggest you do it, right now!”Aces & Eights make their way to the ring with Joseph Park in handcuffs.Devon, “Hulk, we’ve got Joseph right here. But, before we hand him over, you have to do us a favor.”Hulk, “Why should I do you guys any favors?”Devon, “Because there’s nothing stopping us from taking Joseph Park back to our clubhouse and torturing him just for the pleasure.”Hulk, “You say that there’s nothing stopping you, well, you might want to think again.”Just then AJ Styles, Kurt Angle, Garett Bischoff, and Wes Brisco make their way onto the stage. And Chavo Guerrero, Hernandez, James Storm, and RVD stand at the Aces & Eights entrance.Hulk Hogan, “I suggest you hand him over.”Bully Ray then, rushes to the ring and starts attacking the Aces & Eights, trying to get to Devon. Devon leaves the ring and escapes through the crowd, while the locker room takes on the Aces & Eights at ringside. The brawling continues as Joseph Park is still handcuffed. Hogan tries to un-handcuff Park, but to no luck. The brawl continues and a member of Aces & Eights starts attacking Park. Park breaks the handcuffs with his strenght and hits a Black Hole Slam on the masked man. The Aces & Eights flee the ring while everyone, including Park, is shocked at what he just did.Backstage we see Austin Aries making his way towards the ring.Commercial BreakAustin Aries makes his entrance with his championship still intact.Aries, “The Greatest Man that Ever Lived is now the Greatest Champion that Ever Lived. Everyone thought that Hardy had me beat, everyone thought that the hero would prevail again. And the hero did!......”Aries raises his title.“.......At Bound for Glory A Double defeated the Alcoholic Enigma to retain my title. And now everyone’s wondering, how bad did I actually beat Hardy? Well, bad enough that he didn’t even show his face tonight. Bad enough that we haven’t seen or heard from him since. Bad enough that he’ll never want to face me again. With the odds stacked against me, I did it. With management wanting me to lose to Hardy, I did it. With Impact Wrestling wanting a role model to be the face of the company, I did it! What I would like now, is for the entire Impact Zone to start a “Congrats Aries” chant! Come on everybody, “Congrats Aries” “Congrats Aries”.”James Storm’s music hits and he makes his way to the ring.Storm, “Aries, you’ve got a big mouth. Actually, Bobby Roode had a big mouth and we all know what happened to him.”James Storm hits Aries with the Last Call superkick. Storm grabs the title and stand over Aries’ body, raising the title high above his head to end the show. Any and all criticism is welcome. Thank you.

Impact Wrestling: 10/18/12 I noticed you changed up the BFG results a bit. And luckily for me, they were the three results that I had hoped for. I'm a huge fan of Magnus, so I love seeing him as the TV Champion. Though I think maybe it could've been held off a bit longer to give Joe a decent reign. Kaz and Daniels are one of the primary reasons I watch TNA, so them retaining the titles are great. However, I do expect Chavo and Hernandez to take the titles soon. And Austin Aries retaining the World Heavyweight Championship is perfect. But just like Kaz and Daniels, I'm not sure if Aries will be champion for much longer. But I seriously hope he's champion for many, many more months.
Onto Impact Wrestling, good opening segment with Devon explaining to Bully Ray and the rest of the world his reason for aligning himself with Aces and Eights. I'm sure Aces and Eights will be back later, and we'll get another brawl with them and the TNA roster. Solid rematch from Bound For Glory with Magnus defeating Samoa Joe to retain the Television Championship. Makes Joe look a bit weak, though. Especially with him coming off of a dominant showing in the BFG Series. I certainly do hope that 2013 will be the year of Magnus. I really like the Tara and Jessie pairing, especially whenever Jessie comes off as an idiot, which you did a great job with Brooke's one liner at the end. Roode/Storm feud continuing. Eh, considering how brutal the match at BFG was, that should've been it. Not a fan of Joey Ryan losing clean coming off of winning a contract at Bound For Glory. So now we see Morgan. Interesting. #WTTCOTW! Garett and Wes are the next challengers? I guess it makes sense with them being under Angle's guidance and all, though I don't think Chavo and Hernandez should've been swept under the rug. Fun segment with King Mo and the Robbies. I guess we'll have something with the three of them at Turning Point. It's obvious that Robbie E will come out on the losing end, but just like Jessie, I think he's best when he's in the heel doofus role, and he'll certainly look like that against King Mo. Good match between Kurt Angle and James Storm, and I liked Bobby Roode's involvement. If this leads to a Roode/Angle feud, I'd be fine with that. Wonder where Storm goes from here, though. Solid win for Tessmacher to give her the momentum heading into next week's rematch with Tara. As expected, another brawl with Aces and Eights and other roster members. I do wonder where you take the Joseph Park character from here. Finally, a good victory speech from World Heavyweight Champion Austin Aries. James Storm as the next challenger is fine with me, but where was Jeff Hardy on this episode? Even if he couldn't appear in person, an interview or something would've been fine. Just looks a bit weird that four days after being in the main event of the biggest PPV of the year, he was nowhere to be seen. Overall, a solid starter show.

It is being reported that TNA doesn't want to put Jeff Hardy in another main feud, because there is talk that he might not resign with the company when his contract expires in February.
It is being said that Hardy is requesting too much money for the new deal.
TNA is reportedly looking to grow the X-Division, so expect more X-Division wrestlers to get signed in the future.

October 25, 2012The show opens with a video from the parking lot. We see Jeff Hardy exiting out of his car, as we go to the Impact Zone.Knockouts Championship Tara def. Miss Tessmacher Tessmacher used her rematch clause, only to have Jessie be the deciding factor in her effort to win back the title. Tara hit the Widow’s Peak after a distraction from Jessie to retain. |
We cut to Hogan in his office with Sting and Bully Ray.Bully, “Hulk, you have got to give me a match with my brotha’ at Turning Point. If you don’t, I’m gonna do something to him, that I don’t want you to be reliable for. At Turning Point, give me Devon.”Hulk, “Look, Bully, I know how bad you want this but I just don’t think your mind is in it right now.”Bully, “What do you mean, ‘my mind isn’t in it right now’?”Hulk, “I mean that you are so concerned with hurting Devon, I’m afraid you’ll lose your focus on the rest of Aces & Eights and get assaulted. I don’t think your mind is right, right now.”Bully, “Hulk, I have neva’ asked you for anything this big before. I have neva’ wanted anything this badly before. Give me Devon at Turning Point.”Hulk, “Bully, I’m sorry. I don’t think you could get the job done. We need to send Aces & Eights a message. We need to beat Devon at Turning Point, and I don’t think you can win with your mind like this.”Bully, “This is bullcrap, Hulk.”Hulk, “I’m giving Sting a match with Devon at Turning Point. I need you to be in Sting’s corner, to make sure nothing happens with Aces & Eights, brother.”Bully, “Hulk, I gave you a chance to let me beat Devon in the ring, but now, I’m gonna go beat his ass right now. I don’t care if you’re reliable, or if the company is held reliable. Tonight, I destroy Devon.”Commercial BreakBackstage we see Al Snow walking, he is cut off by Joey Ryan.Joey, “Al, why am I not on the card tonight? I’m the star everyone wants to see.”Al, “Well, if my memory serves me correctly, you lost last week.”Joey, “That wasn’t fair! In my first match I go against the X-Division champion! I think management doesn’t even want me to succeed. I beg of you Al, give me a match tonight.”Al, “You ‘beg’ of me? I never thought I’d see Joey Ryan, beg, me. I’ll tell you what, I’ll see what I can do.”Joey, “Good. Tonight the Era of Sleaze begins!”In the ring we see Chavo Guerrero & Hernandez.Chavo, “Last week, Garett Bischoff and Wes Brisco made their mark on the tag team division. However, me and SuperMex still want a clean, tag team match against Daniels & Kazarian. So, me and Hernandez would like to call out Garett & Wes for a tag team match tonight!”Gunner & Kid Kash make their way onto the stage, to the confusion of Chavo & Hernandez.Gunner, “You shouldn’t be calling out Garett & Wes, you should be calling out the future Tag Team Champion, Gunner & Kid Kash!”Chavo, “Hey, me and Hernandez want to fight tonight, you two want to fight, let’s say we fight right now!”Gunner, “You are going to regret that you ever made this challenge.”Chavo Guerrero & Hernandez def. Gunner & Kid Kash Gunner and Kash tried to make an impact, but ended up falling short. Chavo put Kash away with a Frog Splash for the win. |
After the match, Garett Bischoff & Wes Brisco stood on the stage clapping.
Backstage, we see Jeff Hardy walking and it looks like he’s going to the ring.Commercial BreakWe return as Jeff Hardy makes his entrance.Hardy, “At Bound for Glory, I came up short against Austin Aries. My ribs are a little banged up from the match so I took last week off, but the Enigma is back! The lost at Bound for Glory really got to me. This was supposed to be my year of redemption, yet I couldn’t get the final step done. I have been thinking this last week and it hit me. I don’t need the title to signify that my redemption is done. I have proved myself day-in and day-out. I have gone toe-to-toe with the best Impact Wrestling has to offer, in the past few months. I’m clean! I’m sober! And I have never felt better! Do I need the World Heavyweight Championship? No. Do I want the World Heavyweight Championship? Hell yes, I do!”Just then, Magnus’ music hits and he makes his way into the ring.Magnus, “Look at this everybody, Jeff Hardy! The Charismatic Enigma is back! Congratulations Jeff, your redemption is complete, or so you say. Because, we all know it’s only a matter of time before you go back to your old ways. The drinking. The drugs. It’s only a matter of time before you go back down into that downward spiral and this time, you’ll never be able to recover.”Jeff, “Magnus, I don’t know who you think you are, but I know who you are about to be. Someone who got their ass kicked by Jeff Hardy!”Magnus, “That’s cute Jeff, but actually you are just going to fail at beating me just like you failed at beating Austin Aries at Bound for Glory!”Hardy starts attacking Magnus with lefts and rights, but Magnus rolls out of the ring and heads to the back. Hardy gets on the turnbuckle and celebrates.Commercial BreakSamoa Joe def. Bobby Roode It was a closely contested match throughout. Roode tried taking a shortcut by using a beer bottle, but Kurt Angle ran down and took it out of his hands. The distraction lasted long enough for Joe to lock in the choke on Roode, forcing him to tap out. |
Kurt Angle heads up the ramp smiling at Roode, who’s unconscious.
Backstage we see Joey Ryan prepping for his match. Joey, “I don’t care who Al Snow picked for me to face tonight. I know Al’s a softy and I used him to get what I wanted. Al is just as stupid as I thought he was and tonight, the Era of Sleaze officially begins.”We see a video package hyping next week’s Gut Check participant, Raul LaMotta.
We see Roode sitting in the trainer’s room with an ice pack on his neck.Roode, “Last week, I got involved in Angle’s match because of Storm. It had nothing to do with Kurt. But, in typical Kurt Angle fashion, he thought it was all about him. He screwed me tonight! I had Joe beat! Kurt, I didn’t mean to get you angry, but now, you’ve made an enemy out of Bobby Roode.”Commercial BreakKing Mo vs. Joey Ryan never got started King Mo laid out Joey Ryan with a right hand before the match even started.
|
Mo’s celebration was ruined by the Robbies. Robbie E. and Robbie T. started laying out Mo with kicks until Matt Morgan came from the crowd and laid out the Robbies with two Carbon Footprints. Morgan looked at the bodies he laid out, then left.Backstage we see Bully Ray looking for Devon. He is approached by someone who hands him a note. Bully reads the note and walks away.
We go to the ring where James Storm makes his entrance.Storm, “I have got some great news. Because of my win over Bobby Roode at Bound for Glory, Hulk Hogan has officially named me the #1 contender for the World Heavyweight Championship! Last year, I got screwed out of that title but this year, I’m gonna win it back.”Austin Aries’ music hits and he comes down to the ring.Storm, “I’m sorry, but aren’t you the guy who’s teeth I kicked in last week?”Aries, “Yeah, that’s very funny Storm. You see, you think that just because you beat Bobby Roode that you can beat me. But I’m here to tell you that you’re wrong. I, also beat Bobby Roode. I beat him on my first, and second attempt. It took you over a year to finally beat him. Storm, you’re not as great as you think you are. You were carried in AMW. You were carried in Beer Money. And at Turning Point, you will once again be carried. This time, by the EMT’s as you’re stretchered out of the building.”Storm, “You know, Aries. If there’s anything people know about me it’s that I love to drink, and I love to fight. And I can’t think of a better person to fight than you. At Turning Point, I finally get what’s rightfully mine. I have waited too damn long to have my dream just go up in smoke. This entire year has been my fight to get that title. If I don’t win at Turning Point, this entire year has meant nothing. All of my hard work has meant nothing. The time I spent on the road when I could have been at home with my daughter, has meant nothing. Hell, my career has meant nothing if I don’t win the World Heavyweight Championship. And unfortunately for you Aries, you have to defend your title against a pissed off cowboy! I have been with this company since the start. I have seen people come and go. I have seen people who thought they were the next big thing fall away into obscurity! I have seen my friends lose their jobs, because they weren’t going anywhere in their career. At Turning Point, James Storm will finally have closure to this year. I will finally have closure to all of the heartache! I will finally have closure to everything I have sacrificed just to win that title! So Aries, all I have to say to you is, Sorry About Your Damn Luck!”Aries, “Bravo, Storm, bravo. That was a great speech you had there. So much emotion, so much character, so much anger. You said that this year would mean nothing if you don’t win the title at Turning Point. Well then, I guess this entire has meant nothing to you, Storm. And you say that you sacrificed time with daughter to do this. I bet she is glad you took this time away from her, so she doesn’t have to put up with failure of a Dad you actually are.”Storm had heard enough and started attacking Aries with punches. Aries used a poke to the eyes to try and get some time to leave the ring, but Storm grabbed him by the shirt and started pounding him again. Storm was setting up for the Last Call, but when he went for the kick, Aries caught him with a low blow. Aries picked up Storm for the Brainbuster, but Storm countered and landed on his feet. Aries turned around and was caught by the Last Call. Storm grabbed the title and stood over Aries. The crowd started chanting, “Next World Champ” as Storm placed the title on Aries’ lifeless body. Backstage we see a fight has broken out. It appears it’s between RVD and Matt Morgan. Security comes in to break it up.Commercial BreakWe see Hogan sitting in his office, when Bully Ray bursts in.Bully, “Did you see this note?”Hulk, "No, what is it?”Bully, “It says here that Devon and his buddies aren’t here tonight.”Hulk, “Let me see that.”Bully, “I don’t get it, Hulk. They have been here every week. But the week I want them to be here, they aren’t. Devon is scared of me. Devon doesn’t want to fight me, I swear. Give me the match with him at Turning Point, so he is forced to face me!” Hulk, “I’m sorry, Bully. I already made the match official with Sting. But promise me, you’ll be in Sting’s corner.”Bully, “I promise that I’ll be in Sting’s corner. But I can’t promise you what I’ll do when I see Devon and the Aces & Eights.”Bully Ray storms out while Hulk reads the note.AJ Styles def. Kurt Angle It was another classic put on by two great performers. During the match, the referee had accidentally been taken out which brought out Bobby Roode. Angle hit Styles with the Angle Slam, but Roode smashed a beer bottle over Angle’s head. Roode pulled Styles on top of Angle and got the three. |
Styles stood and was confused on what had happened. Roode stood on the stage laughing, while holding what was left of the beer bottle to bring the show to a close.

A bit odd to open Impact Wrestling with a Knockout's Title match. Tara retaining was expected, interested in seeing where she and Jesse go from here. The bit with Hogan and Bully was fine, Sting going against Devon at Turning Point isn't that much, though. Obviously just a match to hold off the eventual Bully/Devon match. Chavo and Hernandez got a good redeeming win over Kid Kash and Gunner. Don't think Garret and Wes needed to make the post-match appearance, though. Whoa. Magnus and Jeff Hardy feud? A bit random, but I like it. Their matches have the potential to be great, and this is a good opportunity for Magnus to climb into the main event scene. Joe going over Roode, I like. What I didn't like was Roode submitting. Where did he get a beer bottle from? Angle's involvement was fine, definitely will set up a future match against Roode in a BFG '11 rematch. I gotta say, the lowest point of this diary so far has to be the use of Joey Ryan. I'm not saying you have to push him to the moon, but he's been made to look like such a bitch. Matt Morgan is incredibly confusing in this diary. It's difficult to see where you're going with him. Last week, he attacked RVD, a face. And this week, he attacks Robbie E and T, two heels. Aries and Storm's promo was excellently written, but I think you dropped it with the post-match stuff. After Aries' comment about Storm's daughter, he shouldn't have gotten his comeuppance so soon. Aries poking Storm in the eye, then running away would've been a lot better. A great main event with AJ Styles going over Kurt Angle, though the finish made AJ come off as a heel. Plus, I think I would've switched this wit the Aries/Storm promo in terms of placement on the show. Overall, a decent edition of Impact Wrestling. There were some decisions that put me off a bit. Plus, where were the #WTTCOTW this week? Regardless, this diary is still rolling on strong. Keep it up.

The show opens and we see Joseph Park standing in the ring.Park, “Two weeks ago, I finally broke free from the Aces & Eights. Ever since that episode of Impact, people have been approaching me, asking me about what happened. Asking me about my handcuff brake heard around the world. And honestly, I don’t know what happened. I can’t explain what happened. I can’t explain how I found the strength. All I know is I was filled with rage. All I saw was red. The Aces & Eights kidnapped me and assaulted me for weeks and I finally had the chance for revenge. I wasn’t here last week, because I was preparing for tonight. I was actually in wrestling training. Me and the rest of my firm at Park, Park, and Park found an interesting sentence in the contract for Open Fight Night. It states, and I quote, ‘Anyone who gets in the ring can challenge anyone on the roster to a fight. The man who is called out must accept, no questions asked.’ Nowhere does it say that you have to be a member of the Impact roster to call someone out. All it says is that you have to be in the ring, which I am. Hulk, don’t worry. Even if something happens to me tonight, there isn’t going to be any lawsuit. Without any more hesitation, I would like to call out a member of Aces & Eights!”Devon comes from the Aces & Eights entrance and gets in the ring.Devon, “Park, you are even stupider than you look. You want to call out Aces & Eights? Well, you’ve got Aces & Eights.”Devon hits Park with the microphone as the bell rings.
Devon def. Joseph Park via disqualification Joseph got to his feet and saw that he was bleeding, and that was enough. Park destroyed Devon with strikes. Devon made it to the ropes but Park wouldn’t quit assaulting him, forcing the referee to call for the DQ. |
Park continued to beat Devon until the rest of Aces & Eights came to Devon’s rescue. Aces & Eights assaulted Park until Sting & Bully Ray ran down to the ring. Aces & Eights scurried away as Sting checked on Park. Bully Ray ran out of the ring and continued chasing after Aces & Eights.Commercial BreakWe return to see Hogan in his office with Samoa Joe & AJ Styles.Hogan, “I know last week, you two didn’t win your matches like you had hoped.”AJ, “I didn’t even know it was Roode that came out until I saw the replay.”Hogan, “I know. And Joe, I know you didn’t want to beat Roode like that, either.”Joe, “I didn’t, but a win’s a win.”Hogan, “I’ve decided that because both of you are so great at what you do in the ring, you two are going to get a chance to win like you want to. At Turning Point, it’s going to be AJ Styles vs. Samoa Joe!”Joe, “Seriously, how many times do I have to beat him?”AJ, “How many times do you have to beat me? How many times do I have to beat you?”Hogan, “Guys, calm down. At Turning Point, you two can go at each other’s throats.”Joe, “I don’t know why you’re doing this to me, when you know I deserve another shot at the TV title.”AJ, “After everything I’ve had to put up with this year, I deserve a friggin’ World Heavyweight title match!”We go to the ring where we see Joey Ryan.Ryan, “So far, everyone thinks that I’m nothing but a joke. Everyone thinks that I can only beat Al Snow. The Era of Sleaze officially begins tonight. I don’t care who it is that wants to come out here, but I’m challenging anyone in the back to face me like a man.”Mr. Anderson’s music hits to the delight of the crowd, and he makes his way to the ring.Joey Ryan def. Mr. Anderson In his first win on Impact Wrestling, Joey Ryan squeaked away with the win. After Anderson controlled much of the match, Ryan rolled-up Anderson and used the ropes for some assistance. |
Ryan grabs a microphone as he heads up the ramp.Ryan, “I told you! I told all of you! The Era of Sleaze has officially begun and it’s only going to get stronger. Pretty soon, you are all going to see gold around this sexy waist. And as far as you go Anderson, you were just my first victim!”Ryan dropped the mic and continued to celebrate his first win.Backstage we see Roode walking, and it looks like he’s going to the ring.Commercial BreakWe return to Impact as Bobby Roode makes his entrance.Roode, “Ladies and Gentlemen, get ready. Tonight, Bobby Roode will show everyone how Bound for Glory should have ended in 2011. I’m calling out, Kurt Angle!”Angle’s music hits and a man wearing a bald-cap and one of Angle’s singlets gets into the ring, as the crowd boo’s heavily.Roode, “Angle, get ready for the beating of your life. Before we start, do you have anything to say?”Angle Imposter, “All I have to say is, that I’m nowhere near the caliber of wrestler as Bobby Roode. He’s the ‘It Factor’ and I’m a washed-up has been. I may have won an Olympic Gold Medal, but that’s nowhere near as impressive as Bobby Roode’s World Heavyweight title reign.”Roode, “I could'nt have said it any better myself.”Bobby Roode def. “Kurt Angle” Roode picked apart this Kurt Angle Imposter from the beginning. The man didn’t get in any offense and to make matters worse, Roode won by making him tap out to the Ankle Lock. |
Roode grabs as a microphone as he gets onto the second rope in the corner.Roode, “Bobby Roode just beat Kurt Angle! Bobby Roode just beat Kurt Angle! Bobby Roode just beat Kurt Angle! And at Turning Point, Bobby Roode is going to beat Kurt Angle again.”Backstage we see Jeremy Borash and he is standing by with Taeler Hendrix!Borash, “Ladies and Gentlemen, please welcome Taeler Hendrix to her first official night on the Impact Wrestling roster! Taeler, congratulations on making it this far, but what are your plans for Open Fight Night?”Hendrix, “JB, tonight I plan on going straight to the top. I’m here to redeem myself from my Gut Check match. I am calling out you, Tara! Hopefully, you aren’t too preoccupied by your new boy toy to meet me in the ring tonight.”We see a graphic that shows our main event for tonight, it’s Magnus & Austin Aries taking on Jeff Hardy & James Storm!Commercial BreakTaeler Hendrix def. Tara in a non-title match It was a great debut for Taeler Hendrix as she managed to pin the Knockouts Champion. Tara thought she had the match won, but kept on going over to talk to Jessie which led to Hendrix getting a rollup victory. |
We see a video from earlier today with Hogan in his office and he has Wes Brisco, Garett Bischoff, Chavo Guerrero, and Hernandez with him.Hogan, “First off, I would like to congratulate Wes Brisco on officially signing with Impact Wrestling. Next, I have a tough decision to make on who I am going to name as the #1 Contenders for the Tag Team titles. So what I’m going to do is book a match for next week. It will be Chavo Guerrero & Hernandez taking on the team of Garett Bischoff & Wes Brisco. The winners of that match will be #1 Contenders. We go to the ring where Chavo Guerrero, Hernandez, Garett Bischoff, & Wes Brisco are waiting.Chavo, “It’s funny. Me and Hernandez came out to this ring to challenge Daniels & Kazarian, and Garett & Wes also came out here to challenge Daniels & Kazarian. I guess that means the Daniels & Kazarian are just popular guys. So, we had a solution. I am here to challenge Wes Brisco and Daniels to a Triple Threat match!”Wes, “And I’m here to challenge Chavo Guerrero and Daniels to a Triple Threat match!”Just then, The World Tag Team Champions of the World came out onto the stage.Daniels, “Thanks, Wes. I didn’t really understand it when Chavo said it, but when you made the challenge, I totally got it. I actually find it sad that all four of you think you can beat the World Tag Team Champions of the World. These two teams that I see in the ring right now, will never be able to beat us. I mean, it’s in our name, the World Tag Team Champions of the World. What’s your names? Stereotypical Mexican Wrestlers and the Silver Spoon Bastards? You guys think you can beat us? Fine, keep that dream. Just know that it will never become a reality.”
Wes Brisco def. Daniels and Chavo Guerrero In an impressive debut, Kurt Angle’s training paid off for Wes Brisco. Despite involvement from Hernandez, Garett, and Kazarian, Wes managed to stay focused and got the win with a Figure-Four Leglock to Chavo.
|
We see a video package for the Gut Check participant Raul LaMotta.Commercial BreakGut Check Match Robbie E. def. Raul LaMotta Robbie managed to get the better of Raul throughout the entire match. Raul hits a burst of momentum, but later got caught after a distraction from Robbie T. Robbie E. hit the FTD for the win. |
Afterwards Robbie T. handed Robbie E. the mic.Robbie E., “Listen here, my dudes. If that hamster, King Mo thinks he can make a mockery out of the Robbies. He’s got another thing coming, bro. King Mo, I hope you come to Turning Point, because I’ll be waiting to make a fool out of you!” Commercial BreakJames Storm & Jeff Hardy vs. Magnus & Austin Aries went to a no-contest It was a great tag team match that actually got a decent amount of time. Storm and Aries never had an interaction in the match because as soon as Storm would enter, Aries would tag out. Jeff Hardy had Magnus down and was setting up a Swanton Bomb, until the Aces & Eights showed up and pushed Hardy off of the ropes. |
Aces & Eights began brawling with all four competitors which brought out Sting, RVD, & Bully Ray. Bully went right after Devon, but Devon escaped and ran through the crowd. Bully Ray left the ring and continued to chase Devon. The huge brawl continued, and Magnus was able to leave the ring and he started heading up the ramp with his TV title. Unfortunately for Magnus, Hardy was also able to escape and Hardy jumped Magnus from behind on the stage. In the ring, the brawl continued and James Storm was starting to clean house. Storm was throwing Aces & Eights members out left and right, until he turned right around into a shot with the World title from Aries. Aries kicked Strom’s body out of the ring, and left. Sting and RVD were now the only men fighting Aces & Eights in the ring, until Matt Morgan hit the ring. Morgan got in and looked around and hit RVD with the Carbon Footprint. Sting turned Morgan around and started yelling at him, then Morgan hit Sting with a Carbon Footprint. The ACes & Eights stopped and stared at Morgan, who was standing in the middle of the ring. Morgan reached into his pant pocket and pulled out, what looked like a piece of cloth. Morgan raised to show that it was an Aces & Eights mask, and Morgan put it on. The crowd booed as Morgan high-fived and hugged the rest of the Aces & Eights. As they all stood in the ring, one of the members raised Morgan’s hand as Tenay and Taz couldn’t believe that Morgan has joined Aces & Eights.

It is being reported that Impact Wrestling has contacted former Team Canada manager, Scott D'Amore. As of right now, we aren't sure what they are in negotiations for, whether it be for an appearance or for a return to the creative team, it all appears to be up in the air.
It is expected that the Aces & Eights angle will end at Lockdown in a Lethal Lockdown match.
It looks like Impact Wrestling has contacted several Indy wrestlers to possibly get added to the X-Division. We can't confirm any names yet, but we will provide an update when we get the names.

Nice promo to start off Joseph Park, and I like Devon answering the challenge and the disqualification was a nice call. Sting and Bully Ray making the save is good, they kind of have to now. Nice interaction in the back with Styles and Joe, good match set up for Turning Point. Joey Ryan beating Mr. Anderson I can dig, but I hope you do something with Anderson... Anderson following this. Comical and good moment for Roode to beat the fake Kurt Angle, and I look forward to the real match at Turning Point. Eh. Knockouts. Good triple threat match that gives Brisco a good win that puts him over well. I don't like the Robbies. Never have. Never will really. So meh. Big main event and wowzers at Matt Morgan joining Aces and Eights. That is huge. A good show, regardless of my care for TNA really.

November 8, 2012
The show opens with a video recap of Matt Morgan joining Aces & Eights last week.
We go to the Impact Zone where the Aces & Eights are standing in the ring.Devon, “Last week, you all got a taste of what’s to come from Aces & Eights. When it was revealed that Matt Morgan was a part of this family, you people didn’t know what to think. Luckily for you, I’m here to tell you what to think. You people should be thinking that the Impact Wrestling roster’s time is almost up. You people should be thinking that at Turning Point, Devon is going to destroy Sting. You people should be thinking that there isn’t a single person back there that can stop Matt Morgan. But, ladies and gentlemen, I have hyped him enough. Everyone, get on your feet and welcome, ‘The Blueprint’ Matt Morgan!”Matt Morgan made his way to the ring through the Aces & Eights entrance.Morgan, “Thank you, Devon. Your speech really warmed my heart. My attack on RVD a few weeks ago left a lot of people wondering. ‘Why would Matt Morgan do such a thing!’ is all I heard. Then, when I attacked Robbie E. and Robbie T., everyone was saying that those two deserved it, that I was in the right on that occasion. And it really made me realize how fickle you people are. One minute you’re against me, the next you’re with me. But, it’s not just the fans, no. It’s also Impact Wrestling management. One minute they were saying that I’m the next big thing to come from Impact Wrestling. That I was the next World Champ. That I was going to be, the future of this company! Then the next minute, my contract runs up and nowhere is giving a damn. Hulk Hogan said that he was one of my biggest supporters. Hulk, I’ve got a question for you. If you were one of my biggest supporters, then why didn’t you bother to renegotiate my contract? Why didn’t you even try to resign me? Unfortunately, I suffered the same fate as Devon. My contract expired and no one cared. However, these guys had my back. The Aces & Eights had my back. Everyone thinks that the Aces & Eights are some group of thugs that want to make a name for themselves, well that’s wrong! The Aces & Eights are a group of guys that have gotten screwed over by this company and want to show management what they missed out on. We are a group of people that want a second chance, because we were screwed over our first go around. Everyone wanted the big scoop on Aces & Eights, well there it is. Hulk, you now know why we’re here, and you know how to make this right.”Just then, RVD, Sting, and Bully Ray ran down to the ring and the Aces & Eights hightailed it out of there. Just as the Aces & Eights were leaving, Bully grabbed a mic.Bully, “What’s the matter? Are you upset because you guys didn’t do anything impressive your first go around? I’ll tell ya what, you guys want to do something impressive? How about at Turning Point, Morgan, you can pick one of your goons to tag with to take on me and RVD!”Morgan, “Bully, you just made one of the worst decisions of your life. You’re on!”Backstage, in the locker room, we see Kurt Angle getting his boots on. The cameraman asks him about what he thought of Roode’s actions last week.Angle, “It was petty. It doesn’t affect me at all. But, if that’s what Roode wants to do to try and get at me, fine. If Roode wants to play games, I’ll play games.”We see a graphic promoting tonight’s contract signing between Austin Aries and James Storm.Commercial Break#1 Contenders Match Garett Bischoff & Wes Brisco def. Chavo Guerrero & Hernandez It was a close bout that didn’t see either team really get a full advantage. Midway through the match Hernandez hit a dive onto Garett on the outside, and appeared to tweak his knee. Wess took advantage of the injury and made Hernandez tap out to the Figure-Four Leglock. |
Garett and Wes started to celebrate their first tag victory, but the celebration was cut short by Daniels and Kazarian. The World Tag Team Champions of the World attacked the #1 Contenders from behind and left their lifeless bodies in the ring.Backstage we see Joey Ryan talking to Al Snow.Joey, “Did you see what happened last week? I defeated a former 2-time World Heavyweight Champion. I told you the Era of Sleaze was just beginning and you didn’t believe me. That victory last week felt so good, especially after everyone though I was nothing more than a joke. Did you ever think that maybe that’s what I wanted you to think?”Al, “I’m going to be honest, that never crossed my mind.”Joey, “This may sound weird, but it’s actually hurting me, just talking to you right now. So could you please hurry up and tell me who I’m facing tonight?”Al, “Hurry up? You were the one that was just running your mouth for the past five minutes! But yeah, I’ll tell you your opponent. It’s Mr. Anderson!”Joey, “What?! I already beat him!”Al, “I know, and if you’re as good as you say that you are, you can beat him again.” Al walks away as Joey looks none too pleased.Commercial BreakWe see Hogan in his office with Joseph Park.Hogan, “What was that last week, brother? You looked like and animal out there.”Park, “I don’t know what got into me. I saw Devon and I just snapped.”Hogan, “Well, it was quite impressive.”Park, “Speaking of impressive. Are you putting any thought into just rehiring whoever is behind Aces & Eights? It seems like they just want their jobs back.”Hogan, “I’m kind of in a sticky situation, brother. If I hire them, whoever they may be, it just shows that all of their bullying and assaults got them what they wanted and I can’t have that precedent being set. On the other hand, if I don’t rehire them, their games are going to continue and everyone is still going to have to be looking over their shoulders for who-knows how long.”Park, “You really do have a tough decision to make, Hulk.”Hogan, “I know. Could you please give me some time alone to think, brother?”Park, “Oh, absolutely.”Park leaves as Hogan sits in his chair, thinking. We go back to the Impact Zone where we see Kurt Angle standing in the ring.Angle, “I’m sure all of you saw what Roode did last week. Having that man come out here and impersonate me. Well, I have a few tricks up my sleeve, as well. So, everybody please welcome back to Impact Wrestling, Bobby Roode’s former mentor, Scott D’Amore!”D’Amore made his way to the ring, receiving a mixed reaction from the crowd.D’Amore, “Kurt, I’m so glad you approached me to make this appearance, because it feels great to be back in the Impact Zone!”Angle, “Thank you, for coming. As I said on the phone, I just want to ask you a few questions about Bobby Roode. First question: How would you describe Bobby Roode’s attitude?” D’Amore, “Honestly, Kurt, I find his attitude to be great. He knows what he wants, he gets what he wants, and then he brags about it because he can.”Angle looks at D’Amore, as if he is joking.Angle, “Alright, not the type of answer I expected but, moving on. Question two: Everyone remembers you as the manager of Team Canada. Would you say that Bobby Roode was the weakest member of that group?” D’Amore, “No, far from it. If anything, I’d say that Roode was the team’s greatest asset. I always said that Roode had what it took to become a World Champion and I’v very proud of him that he accomplished that goal.”Angle, “Okay. I tried throwing you a couple of bones here, but you’re not quite giving me the answers I was looking for.”D’Amore, “Sorry, Kurt. It’s just that Roode always was my favorite. So much so, that he still keep in touch. I told him what you planned to do tonight. I told him that you wanted me to humiliate him. Don’t get me wrong, we thought it was funny. Bobby and I had a good laugh at it. Only it wasn’t at his expense, but at yours.”Just as D’Amore finished his sentence, Roode attacked Angle from behind. Roode started hitting Angle with punches in the corner, but Angle started to fight back. Angle eventually had Roode up for the Angle Slam, but Roode countered and exited the ring. Angle got to his feet and was slapped by D’Amore. The slap didn’t seem to hurt Angle as he picked D’Amore up and connect with the Angle Slam. Angle pulled down his straps on locked D’Amore in the Ankle Lock. D’Amore was screaming in pain and was yelling for Roode, but Roode just cowardly watch from the stage. Angle let go after D’Amore started tapping, and grabbed a mic.Angle, “Roode, that’s going to be you this Sunday!”The crowd cheered, as Roode looked horrified. We see the graphic promoting the contract signing between Austin Aries and James Storm. Commercial BreakJoey Ryan def. Mr. Anderson It was round two for these fine athletes. Anderson, once again, controlled the majority of the match. Joey Ryan eventually won with a rollup, and some grabbing of the tights. |
Backstage we see Tara and her boyfriend Jessie. The cameraman asks them about Tara’s lost to Taeler Hendrix last week.Tara, “That little nobody, thinks that she can call me out and make a fool out of me? Well, she can’t! At Turning Point, I’m going to show her why Jessie and I are Hollywood’s power couple. And after I give that little runt her fifteen minutes of fame, she can go back to being a nobody!”Backstage we see Jeff Hardy walking, and it looks like he’s coming to the ring.Commercial BreakWe return to see Jeff Hardy make his entrance. Hardy gets in the ring and begins to talk, but you can barely hear him over the crowd’s cheering.Hardy, “Two weeks ago, Magnus said that I was going to go back into a downward spiral. A downward spiral that I wouldn’t be able to recover from. Well last week, I think I proved him wrong! If it wasn’t for the Aces & Eights, I would have pinned Magnus! Magnus, I get it. You want to try and get your name out there, and you want to do it by beating me. Just know this, the Charismatic Enigma is never going to die! The Enigma is never going away! I’m so sick and tired of people saying that I’m eventually going to go back to my old habits. Was this year not enough evidence, that I won’t? For my entire career, I have had to prove people wrong. And at Turning Point, I plan on proving Magnus wrong when I beat him and become the new Television Champion!”Hardy drops the microphone as the crowd chants his name, loudly. We see a video recap of Hogan talking to AJ Styles and Samoa Joe, last week.Non-Title Match The World Tag Team Champions of the World def. AJ Styles and Samoa Joe This was a fantastic match that showcased the chemistry they all have with one another. Joe and AJ managed to work on the same page through most of the match. There was a partner miscommunication when Kazarian shoved AJ into Joe. Styles and Joe had words, before Samoa Joe Joe left the ring and walked up the ramp. Styles looked on in disgust, before he was rolled-up by Kazarian for the win. |
We see a graphic to the contract signing between Austin Aries and James Storm. Commercial BreakAlex Silva def. Zema Ion It was a good debut for the first Gut Check winner. Silva was very impressive and had the crowd on his side through the entire contest. Silva won with the Silva Surfer. |
We see a video package of the Gut Check judges discussing Raul LaMotta. In the ring we see Taz, Bruce Prichard, and Al Snow. Jeremy Borash brings Raul LaMotta out for his Gut Check. Ultimately, Raul didn’t get the contract. He got a “yes” out of Al Snow, but Taz and Prichard gave him a “no.”Commercial BreakTaeler Hendrix def. Gail Kim In a fantastic Knockouts contest, the rookie managed to keep her momentum going by defeating the veteran. Taeler finished Gail off with a Roundhouse Kick. |
We go to Taz and Tenay as they run down the card for Turning Point. We see James Storm and Austin Aries walking backstage, their contract signing is next! Commercial BreakWe return to see a table set up and Jeremy Borash standing in the ring. JB first introduces the challenger, James Storm! Storm gets in the ring to a positive reaction from the crowd. JB then introduces the World Heavyweight Champion, Austin Aries. Aries comes out and the crowd is booing him like crazy.Borash, “Gentlemen, once you sign this contract your match at Turning Point for the World Heavyweight Championship becomes official. Before we sign, do either of you have any last words?” Aries, “Yeah, I do. Storm, if you think that because you’ve superkicked me two weeks in a row, that you have gotten in my head, then you’re wrong. So far, you haven’t done anything to even make me think that you can beat me for this title. You barely beat Bobby Roode at Bound for Glory, two weeks ago I absolutely embarrassed you on the mic, and then last week I knocked you out cold with my title. Storm, you’re not a threat to me. You never have been and you never will be. And after I beat you at Turning Point, I think it’s time you take another ‘break’ and go back home with your tail between your legs.”Storm, “You said that I’m not a threat? I am the guy that dominated the BFG Series and I would have won the whole thing if it weren’t for Bobby Roode. Bobby Roode, the same man that I demolished at Bound for Glory. I then lay you out not once, but twice with the Last Call Superkick. I am a former 11 time World Tag Team Champion. I am a former World Heavyweight Champion, and you say that I’m not a threat? Aries, you are in way over your head and at Turning Point, I’m gonna kick that head off of your shoulders.”Aries, “Congratulations, Storm, you have accolades. So do I. I have competed all over the world. I have wrestled for dozens of promotions, and I have dominated them all. I am a former ROH Tag Team Champion. I am a former 2 time ROH World Champion. I am the winner of the 2011 X-Division showcase. I was the longest reigning X-Division champion in history, and I never even lost the belt. I gave it up to win this, pretty title that I have now. Storm, you are nothing more than a fat, drunken, sloppy mess, shell of your former self. When you were in AMW everyone thought you two were the greatest tag team alive! Now, no one gives a crap about you. They only care about the Greatest Man that Ever Lived and at Turning Point, that man will pin your shoulders down for the three count.”Storm, “Well, Aries, I don’t know about you but I’m done talking.”Storm and Aries sign the contract.Storm, “That’s it then. This Sunday, you have got to face your toughest challenge to date. I’m not a shell of my former self, no, no ,no! I am the beer drinking, Johnny Cash listenin’, Aries’s ass kickin’, future World Heavyweight Champion! Sorry, about your damn luck!”Storm and Aries stand up and go face-to-face as Impact comes to a close.

Impact Wrestling: 11/8/12 Morgan in Aces and Eights is certainly an interesting call. And it's one I don't mind, honestly. His promo did give a great case as to why he joined the group, it makes perfect sense to me, and he and Devon share a bond through it. The Tag Team Match for Turning Point sounds nice, a gimmick match would spice it up even more, though. Curious to see who Morgan picks. Have any of the masked members been revealed yet in this diary? Garret and Wes as the number one contenders, eh. It's a great opportunity for a fresh, young team, but I hope it's just an opportunity and you don't put the gold on them. Chavo and Hernandez do come off as a bit weak, though. A team that was meant to be experienced and dominant, losing to two superstars who can be classified as "rookies." Alright, now we're getting somewhere with Joey Ryan. I approve of the Era of Sleaze. Hogan does have a solid case as to why he's hesitant to re-hire the Aces and Eights, whoever it may be. I'm calling it as Jeff Jarrett. What Da Hayle?!?! Scott D'Amore!?!? I missed that Canadian fatass! I love how Angle was expecting him to trash Roode, yet he just praised him. This segment was very well done, maybe the best I've seen from you yet. I would absolutely LOVE to see D'Amore return in a permanent role as Roode's manager once again. Yeah! My boy Joey with the win! It does hurt Anderson a lot, though. He should at least get a bit of momentum back off of Joey, soon. Decent promo from Jeff Hardy to set the stage for his Television Championship match against Magnus at Turning Point. Maybe could've used a bit of time for Magnus, though. I must say, I do love how you're putting the Television Title up in a main event-worthy match on PPV. Makes it look far more important and prestigious than it ever has. The Tag Team Match sounded great. Gave #WTTCOTW some great momentum, and built the Joe/Styles match up nicely. Maybe could've used some interactions with Garret and Wes following the match, though. I actually like Zema Ion. What a bummer to see him lose to Alex Silva, who I still can't stand for some reason. Who's Raul LaMotta? A bit embarrassing for me as I'm usually aware of all talents used in a modern day sim. Doesn't really matter much, though, since he didn't win Gut Check. Get Christian York on this soon. Glad Taeler Hendrix got the win. She's a very solid talent with a ton of potential. Maybe a Knockout's Championship match on PPV at this point in her career is a bit too much. I get that it's a great opportunity for her, but we really don't know much about her other than that she's a solid worker who was misdiagnosed with cancer. Feeding her to Tara could do more harm than good for her, especially since secondary Knockout's feuds seem non-existent. So after Sunday, she'll most likely fall out of the picture and it would be pretty difficult for her to rebound, especially with other face Knockouts like Mickie James, Miss Tessmacher, and ODB on the roster. Lastly, a good closing segment with Austin Aries and James Storm signing their contract for Turning Point. Overall, a good go home edition of Impact Wrestling. Nothing is perfect yet, but this diary is still coming along very nicely, and I look forward to your first PPV outing with Turning Point.

Impact Wrestling Alright, it's about time I return your replies. Decent opening segment between Devon and Matt Morgan. Morgan's bit was easily the best part and a tag match against Bully Ray and RVD at Turning Point is alright. Hmm, would have rather seen Chavo and Hernandez take the number one contender spot. Nice attack from the tag champs after the match, hoping Daniels and Kaz will retain at Turning Point. Joey Ryan versus Mr. Anderson tonight should be a pretty good bout, looking forward to it. Mixed feelings on the Kurt Angle segment. Liked the attack from Roode and the Ankle Lock on D'Moore, but Angle's tactics of bringing out D'Moore to humiliate Roode seemed a little heelish. Good match between Joey Ryan and Mr. Anderson, can get down with Ryan picking up the win. Liking the Joey Ryan push, hoping he'll take the Television Championship at some point. Good promo from Hardy on Magnus, but I hope Magnus retains the title at Turning Point after knocking off Joe at Bound for Glory. Awesome match between Of the World and Styles/AJ. Another bout between Joe and AJ down the line can be fun, hopefully the winner of the feud is launched back in the title feud. Or both, that would be best. ;) Solid win for Alex Silva over Zema Ion in his debut, about time he actually got used for once. I don't get the Gut Check segment. Why write out every segment besides the Gut Check? Just looks out of place. Hendrix getting some momentum going into her title shot is nice, even though now it seems like Gail Kim is floating around with nothing again. Lastly, an awesome segment between Austin Aries and James Storm to close out the show. Nice to see the segment didn't end in a chaotic brawl like it normally does. Overall, a decent show besides some odd decisions. Turning Point is shaping up to be a good card, looking forward to more.

I’m going to let Jeff Hardy think that he can beat, then I’m just going to sit back and watch Hardy crash and burn. Jeff Hardy is not as good as he once was, but even at his best he still wasn’t as good as me. I said that 2013 is going to be the year of Magnus, but it looks like tonight, the Year of Magnus gets started a bit early.”We cut to a video showing Garett Bischoff and Wes Brisco’s journey toward the tag team title. The game plan is: Raise Hell, Beat Ass, and Take Names. I may not be facing my brotha’ Devon tonight, but I’ve got the second best thing. Me and my boy RVD are going to take the Aces & Eights to the extreme and make them wish that they never would have accepted this challenge. Hulk Hogan was confident in you that you would be the one to get the job done and you have the chance to prove that, tonight. We saw Matt Morgan give his reason as to why he joined Aces & Eights, now I wanna know your thoughts on Matt Morgan.” Sting, “This may sound a bit weird to most of you out there, but I get Matt Morgan. I understand what he was going through and his choices, while not my favorite, make sense. Morgan was lost and confused, so was Devon. The Aces & Eights are trying to take advantage of people when they are at their weakest. If you’re down and out and there’s a group of guys saying, ‘We’ve got your back.” Of course, you’re going to go with them. You’re going to join them. Tonight, I have Devon, the first offender. Devon, you were angry at Impact Wrestling and you saw Aces & Eights as a way to get back at us. Well, tonight, I am going to get back at you, for EVERYTHING YOU’VE DONE! So far, you and Tara have one win apiece against one another and tonight is the rubber match where you get your chance to shine. This past Thursday, Tara called you a nobody and said that she will give you your fifteen minutes of fame tonight. How do you respond?” Taeler, “Tara called me a nobody. Why am I a nobody? Is it because I haven’t won the Knockouts title yet? Is it because I don’t have a poor excuse for a Hollywood boyfriend? I know it’s not because I haven’t beaten Tara, because I have. Tara, everyone starts out somewhere, and at one point in your career you were where I am today. A youngster with a big chance and a big break. I have overcome bigger obstacles than Tara, in my life. Alright, your first go at a PPV. Interested in seeing what you have here. A great way to kick off the show with Samoa Joe getting the victory over AJ Styles. Either guy could've used to victory, now hoping that we see a continuation. Great and expected win for the World Tag Team Champions of the World. Honestly, Garret and Wes should never come close to the title again. I question if they should've come close now. The Anderson/Joey feud has felt a bit awkward to me. Seems like it was just to give both guys something to do. I'd be surprised if it continued, honestly. Had no real interest in the Sting/Devon match, but Devon winning was expected. A good Knockout's Title match here. The finish adds so much sympathy to Taeler's character, a rematch seems like a must. This time, I think I'd be okay with her grabbing the title, say, next month or so. Huge win for Magnus here to retain the Television Championship. I will say that this is a bit of a fall for Jeff Hardy. He won the BFG Series, but then lost his title match with Aries, and then lost a Television Championship match against Magnus. Selfishly, though, I don't care. It's a big win for Magnus and can propel him into the main event scene, whenever the time is right. Aces and Eights involvement is definitely noteworthy. Intrigued to see where that goes. A good match up between Bobby Roode and Kurt Angle. I kind of liked the finish with D'Amore getting involved, definitely sets up a rematch for Final Resolution. Aces and Eights getting the victory was needed. Matt Hardy.....ugh. Don't get me wrong, it is a surprise to see him in Aces and Eights. But Matt Hardy is just....ugh. And the reveal seemed far too similar to Devon's at BFG. Guess we'll be getting Devon/Matt vs. Bully/Jeff sometime soon. What's next? Is Lex Luger is Aces and Eights? Lastly, a great championship main event with Austin Aries getting the victory. Definitely the right call, and I love the reign that Aries has been having. As of now, Storm seems like the candidate to end it, though. Overall, a very solid PPV. Some things were a bit off, but nothing major.

Reports have surfaced that Jeff Hardy and management got into a big fight backstage at the last Impact taping. It was reportedly over Hardy's contract situation. It appears that Hardy's contract expires in January, and not February as previously reported. According to sources, Hardy is demanding too much money and TNA is not willing to pay him.
There have been some talks backstage about ending the Aces & Eights storyline earlier then expected. While previously being reported to end at Lockdown, now they are discussing having Lockdown be the first PPV after the Aces & Eights angle is done.
TNA management has reportedly contacted Kenny King and Sonjay Dutt about becoming full-time roster members.
With his show getting picked up for another season, you can expect to see Eric Young taking a leave of absence from TNA. It is being said that he can leave, but the door will always be open for him, if he chooses to return.
