I picked these up at WalMart today. I got the Lamborghini from that set. Fun fact that car is the one that crashed in The Dark Knight not the Dark Knight Rises Good catch. I didn’t even notice the title. I was to busy explaining why 6 hot wheel were being placed in our cart. My wife was complaining saying “ Do we really need thesset? You have multiple releases of all of them already” And in my reply I even mentioned this was the first time I got the Lamborghini. At which point her reply was “That’s not a Batmobile!” So I said it’s part of the set. It was the car Bruce runs the light in to get into the accident to save the guy who was trying to blackmail him in the Dark Knight. But I didn’t even notice the movie title on the card. lol

I bought 3 vintage Hot Wheels cars at a thrift store for $0.97 each. They are all from 1982. I got the Cadillac Seville, Stutz Blackhawk, and the Front Runnin Fairmont. So I went to Dollar Tree yesterday and I picked up a 32 Ford from 2017. Apparently Mattel changed the body from a Metal Base to a plastic body. These odd retools of castings are starting to get a bit out of hand now.

On Wednesday I went to the Farmers Market with $10 allocated for Hot Wheels cars. I only Bought 4 for $6. I bought 2000 First Editions Pro Stock Firebird, Ferrari F355 Challenge in Silver, a new 33 Ford Roadster to replace the one where the windshield snapped off. The best one of the haul was the Aries Wagon from 1982. It was loose but in excellent condition for how old it is. I paid $1 for the Aries wagon.
I went to Target today to see if they had any of the 2nd Wave of Matchbox Jurassic World Fallen Kingdom 5 packs with the Mercedes-Benz Unimog. I was in luck since they had 2 left. Technically I had 2/5 of the 5 pack already since I bought the single versions of 2 of the JW Jeep and Oshkosh inspired truck. The soft top of the Jeep is removable so I have took the soft top off the Jeep. I'll just use the other Oshkosh as a backup trapper truck.
On a side note I'm really behind on my 2018 Matchbox collection. I'm haven't found any of the new cars that I need. Walmart put out a 2017 Case yesterday. I was kind of peeved.
I found 5 2017 Non Super Treasure Hunt Blade Raiders at the grocery store on Friday. I didn't buy any since they weren't Supers. Finding 5 Treasure Hunt cars at once is mind boggling.

Well it's official that the Monster Jam line is no more but there is great news. Today it was announced that Hot Wheels has acquired the Bigfoot license.

I went to an out of town Walmart and my nearest Target today to look for the new Hot Wheels '17 Audi RS 6 Avant and '19 Chevrolet Silverado Trail Boss LT but came out empty handed. I did manage to get the Matchbox Texas Patrol 5 Pack at Walmart. 4 Licensed castings and 1 generic Speed Trapper. I'm still way behind on my 2018 Matchbox Collection. Also there is a Third Jurassic World Fallen Kingdom Matchbox 5 pack. I saw it at Walmart but decided to wait for the Single release InGen Humvee and Kawasaki Teryx. I don't want the muddy Ford Explorer #4 or Muddy Jeep Wrangler or the Black Mercedes-Benz G-Wagen

I stopped in CVS yesterday and they had a ton of Hot Wheels and Matchbox cars. Matchbox cars are more than a Hot Wheels car there for some stupid reason even though they are both made by Mattel. I did manage to get the Matchbox 64 Ford Fairlane Wagon. I paid $2 for it after tax. I was going to buy the Boone County Sheriff's Dept 00 Chevrolet Suburban but I didn't want to spend $4 on 2 cars

Well it's official that the Monster Jam line is no more but there is great news. Today it was announced that Hot Wheels has acquired the Bigfoot license. This seems unbelievable to me. For a number of reasons. First, Monster Jam is a much bigger organization than Bigfoot/Monster Truck Nationals. Second, Bigfoot just signed with Greenlight, so how does this work? With Monster Jam as big as it is, if they did break ties with Mattel, I'm sure they already have someone lined up to make toys for them. As a side story I'll share my experience going to both of these organization's events. When you go to Monster Jam there are multiple tables all around the venue selling merchandise. In Chicago they charged 10 dollars per each Monster Jam truck. I love Monster Jam. Monster Truck Nationals is similar to Monster Jam but different. At the MTN show they were selling toy trucks. The sign said Hotwheels. I bought one thinking Mattel had some kind of arrangement to make Bigfoot toys for local distribution at their events only. It was not a Hotwheel. I forgot what brand it was. While Bigfoot is a more Iconic truck, the two shows are so different that I'd say I enjoy Monster Jam more. At Monster Jam they packed the arena with dirt. At Monster Truck Nationals they drive on the arena's concrete floor. The mini events/races are more entertaining at Monster Jam as well. If it's true that Mattel switched I'd say I was very shocked. While I welcome the chance to get MTN toys, I'meft wondering who will handle MJ now.

I went to Walmart yesterday they put out a new 6 car Fast and Furious set of HW cars. Nothing worth grabbing though although the Ford GT40 and the 70 Chevelle looked nice. I'm still mad that all of the Power Wagons from the Mopar series were bought up by scalpers though.
