I remember seeing this awhile back. Pretty sure this is about as good as it'll get. Looks factory to me.

Sadly because he wasn't that big in the US, I don't see it ever happening. I'd love it, but sadly just don't see it. I think it would be cool to see a Hansen/Brody two pack. Brody with his chain and vest, Hansen with hat, chaps and bull rope. YES! YES!!! YEEEEES!!!!! I would buy this the day it came out.

I'd love a Stan Hansen figure. Jakks missed the ball on that one.

I realize that my plight for a Stan Hansen figure is very unlikely, but the guy was a huge star in Japan and also the AWA Champion, as short a reign it was. He's always been a pioneer of sorts to me, as he took a physical style which really was anything but technical and made a solid character and career of it, especially in Japan, where they appreciate and are very critical of technique and technical ability. Even Hulk Hogan wrestled differently there, displaying more moves than he ever did here in the US. I'll never forget when Stan beat Rick Martel in NJ for the title. The guy made a clothesline look like the most devastating move in wrestling (yes, he worked very stiff LOL). When's the last time you saw someone use a Clothesline for a finisher? (other than Ryback using it against Tensai when he couldn't hit the Shellshock). If Jakks never got around to him, then I'm pretty sure it's a safe bet that Mattel would never even consider him, but I was curious if anyone else would want to see him produced as well. Dude, JBL used a clothesline as his finisher, the clothesline from hell. Nikita Koloff used the Russian sickle clothesline. Even Batista experimented with using a clotheslline as a finisher. Stan Hansen was great, but he was hardly the first guy to finish someone off with a clothesline. That being said, I'd pick up Stan if they ever made him. He'd look awesome on the shelf next to Terry Funk. 2 of the toughest Texans to ever wrestle.

You make it sound as though you are the final word, dude. It's just an idea people are throwing around. If you don't agree then disagree.

He's a forgotten wrestler that Mattel probably hasn't heard of. Plus there isn't a big enough market for him either. I'd rather have Pat Patterson or Gerald Brisco

Sad...truly sad. Mattel has ruined this for us all. Do I want Hansen? YES. Patterson? YES Brisco's? YES. Gobbeldygooker? YES. Everybody ever? YES. Mattel does make outstanding figures, but they're not going to make everybody we want. I'd jump for joy if WWE didn't renew their deal with them.

Mattel is Hell bent on jamming Orton, Cena, Mysterio into every wave. Jakks was great, to me, with the classics line because it had such a huge roster of guys that I fear will never be duplicated.

Maybe Mattel should make them in their dresses.

A big "yes" from me.
As much as I love Mattel and have always disliked Jakks' quality, guys like Stan Hansen make me miss the Classic Superstars line. He would have been a perfect fit, not to mention a perfectly reasonable expectation.
It's great to have amazingly well done figures, but it sucks to have to debate whether or not well-known legends like Earthquake or Tito Santana are popular enough to deserve a Flashback spot.

The Legends line failed with much more recent, well-known names than Stan Hansen. Not a chance we'll see a figure of him. That custom posted above is superb, though.
