My fave 5 are all elites:
1)RSC Exclusive Kane w/ Removable Mask-this is just an all-around great figure.
2)BoPPV CM Punk from WM XXVIII-Great figure & just a little better than E16, IMO.
3)RSC Exclusive Austin-the best Stone Cold figure Mattel's done. Mainly due to the new head scan.
4)E17 John Cena-Mattel finally has the Cena figure mold down perfect, IMO.
5)E6 Batista-I'm a major Batista fan & this is his best.
One bonus to this list is that a new collector could still easily get 4 out of the 5, if they so desired. They could get the Batista through RSC, or another online site, but it's gonna be expensive.

If I could only keep 2 figs in my collection it would be
1 and 2: DM Macho and DM Warrior
Others to round out my favorites (no order):
E11 Punk (edges out E16 though I really like that attire)
L2 Rude (such a great looking figure, so is Bam Bam but I was bigger fan of Rude)
L6 Warrior (It's hard to pick which is the 'better' warrior fig but this is really nice looking too)
Honorable mention: L5 Macho (iconic attire) and E17 Mankind
