Now that the new style of packaging is out, (and sorry if this is redundant, didn't see a thread about it on the first page) I was wondering what everyone thinks of it.
Personally, I think it's great to save costs in a way to avoid cutting details or variety from the actual figures. Also it's never a bad thing to help the environment with less waste.
But once I actually saw it in person and held it in my hands, the basic style packaging seemed to me to be right around the same size as a WWF Hasbro card, and I don't know- maybe it's just nostalgia for me but I really like the new look. I think it's great.
I do think they could have shrunk the Elite size packaging even more.
Any thoughts? or indifferent??

looks the same to me , same background just the colour and designs are different , I prefer the last packaging , Firstly though I have to get my hands on a new box anyway to judge

I still didn't have the chance to touch it, to see how it looks but from internet pics, I don't really like it. Too many colours and stuff. I prefer the 2012 ones (E12 - E17).

I like it, but at the same time I miss the "full image" that the old packaging provided. I keep the Basic carding from most of the figures I buy, so that's a bit of a bummer, but nothing major.  |

As a MoC collector id like to see them go even smaller with the packaging ... less space and less thin cardboard that can be bent or creased

I miss the plastic at the top of the elites. Thats how i see some parts of the figure. Otherwise, Ilove it. The basic packaging is sweet!

I just throw most packaging out, but I like the new look
and if it helps mattel keep cost down so the details don't suffer im all for it.

It's really small but it doesn't bother me. I open all basics anyway and just keep the card.
