Yes I had one but was picking up one for my buddy but the case had no AJ's.....it wasn't resealed I double checked.

I did my run today. No Aj!  I did go to Target and saw the associate putting figures out (the one Alicia Fox is in) and it was a new box. But there was no Hunico nor Alicia Fox. Only Santino, Triple H and Rey. So maybe Target is not restocking on certain figures? |

If things were easy to find most of us would be out of the game as that's the best part about collecting. Hell no it's not. That is the exact reason I gave up on collecting the Mattel line. What fun is it going from store to store just to walk out empty handed and have wasted time and gas? |

Why does Mattel do that? Is there a reason? Is it just to keep it limited and, thus, collectable? Yes there is a reason. Drew = non popular wrestler. And AJ is a female in a boys toy line which = less popular. If they were packed as heavy as guys like Cena, Rey, Orton, Punk they would be pegwarmers that NEVER would move. think back to Mickie James her figure sat on the pegs for almost 2 years before they were removed. Retailers & the WWE want the faces of the company packed heavily because at the end of the day they will sell. It might take time but both know if a store had 50 AJ figures and 50 Cena figures sitting on the pegs the Cenas would sell out first. After the few collectors in an area get their AJ nobody would buy the rest...but with Cena there will always be a new child getting their first While I've only seen the remains of this wave once (2 Sheamus and 1 Drew) I have seen and passed on 4 series 23 Fox figures between 3 stores over the last 2 days. I agree with what you're saying, but you have to draw a line somewhere. There is no reason for some of these guys to be in every single series at 3 per case. All it does is prevent new series from being stocked because it takes months to get rid of the overpacked shelfwarmers. Hell, some of these places (Target in particular) won't restock until they sell every damn figure that's on the shelf. This crap is the reason why most of the TRU's in the country had nothing but Cena and Mysterio figures sitting on the shelves for half of this year. My local TRU has had an entire peg of Cena and Mysterio Best of '11 figures that have been collecting dust on the shelf since November of 2011 and still haven't sold even during the holiday rush. I don't have a problem with them releasing these guys frequently, but they need to handle it like they did E16 Orton and make them 1 per case more often than not. |

I agree. I ALWAYS see John Cena and Rey on the shelf and lots of them. I also live in NYC, which is a high traffic area full of wrestling fans and those figures do not fly off the shelfs. Obviously, they would sell better than a diva or a less popular superstar in the same quantity, but they are being overproduced and the divas/less popular superstars underproduced.
Anytime I find a diva; she's gone the next day. It sucks to go to a store and find the series AJ is in and everyone is there but her, because 2 hours earlier someone got to her first. It's a race game! But maybe that's what Mattel wants?
Anyway, thank gosh for the internet. I ordered AJ and Eve online and should be getting them next week. I refuse to buy Elizabeth online--too expensive. So hoping I find her in stores. I found Yokozuna, Beth and Alicia from my daily searches, so hoping Elizabeth will come to my too!

i think this is a bad idea because mattel knows how many people like Aj right now. Also, with drew being in 3MB he has some hype.
