Just wondering if since the terrible tragedy happened, anyone has reported anything concerning (or if he himself has said anything) Joey Styles? He resides in Newtown, CT...I really hope he didn't have any loved ones at the school, I couldn't remember if he had any children or not, not sure which part of the town he lives in either, as it specifically happened in the Sandy Hook area.

Typical smark.... have to go and localize this tragedy and make it about wrestling; who the  cares about Joey Styles at a time like this? If him losing someone is the only thing you're worried about when 20 kids are dead 11 days before Christmas; you need your head examined. Pray for ALL of the people that lost someone today, if Joey Styles and his family are included (which they probably aren't) then pray for them too. |

I'm 100% positive he didn't say Joey Styles is the only thing hes worried about. He asked a simple question. I'm sure everyone is disgusted and sad about what happened today. He may be a Joey Styles fan and just wanted to know if anyone in his family was included in the tragedy....you may need your head examined honestly because you don't really know how to read that well. |

I had just called that town yesterday at work. However, Joey Styles should be treated as no more OR less important than anyone else potentially affected in the tragedy. I was asking so as to be knowledgeable concerning his and his family's safety. Simple as that. Nothing to become overly angry about here. |

To answer your question though Major Thoroughfare I don't believe anyone in his family was involved in the tragedy. He's tweeted quite a bit within the last few hours with no mention of anything like that. |

There are some shamelessly pathetic people on this board, who take any opportunity to belittle posters for raising decent discussion. To those people, GO OUTSIDE AND SOCIALIZE YOU MORONS. The same idiot who accused the poster of 'making this about wrestling' is probably asking the exact same question on a different forum, and getting a far more mature response.
I say props to the original poster for acknowledging Joey Styles' home town was the scene of this disaster. Going by his twitter and the WWE's public statement on the matter, it appears he and his family were unaffected directly. That doesn't mean their friends and neighbors haven't lost loved ones.

To clarify; I stand by what I said; but I do apologize to Thoroughfare for flying off the handle like that. The rest of you that condemn me for getting angry by calling me names.... good job hypocrites.
My point is simply this; none of the names of the deceased children had been released; we knew no better than you; and to ask if Joey Styles was among the affected, to me, seems a little selfish, just in the sense that there was so many lives lost; and to ask a question pertaining to one particular person in the midst of all this chaos and tragedy is just strange to me.
I'm sure you weren't SOLELY concerned with Joey Styles, you're not a ghoul; but the question could've waited until the air cleared a bit more.
