So just something I thought of, who are some of your favourite guys to watch?
the ones that everyone else seems to hate. I have quite a long list but I'll just throw out a few.
Great Khali - Firstly this guy should never have become world champion, I understand the hate he gets for that, but I'm sure he didn't write himself into that position. That was creative. And I think its pathetic how the IWC bash him for holding the belt upside down, Goldberg did it too, and Shelton Benjamin even WORE the US title out to the ring upside down! other than that I find his storylines really funny and entertaining. And just the sheer size of the guy is really awe worthy! I understand that his wrestling skills are by far much good, but at 7'3 400+lbs I dont really care for submisson holds and fancy moves, when a 7ft 3 man punched you in the head. you're on the deck, regardless of who you are.
Hornswoggle - Again another awesome character, who's really developed loads since his time with Finlay, he's become Cruiserweight champion, became a member of DX, feuded with DX, he's the illegitimate son of Vincent Kennedy McMahon, and even magically gained the ability of speech! I just really enjoy watching hornswoggle on TV, weather it be messing around with the Muppets or in a wrestling match, everything the guy touches becomes childish comedy gold, which really appeals to me.
Mason Ryan - Other than the cruddy name, could have given him something a bit more stereotypical welsh like Griffidd Jones.... or billing him from: Llanfairpwllgwyngyllgogerychwyrndrobwllllantysiliogogogoch (yes thats the name of a REAL place) then again, unless youre Welsh whats the chances of being able to pronounce that!
which brings me onto the point of him being Welsh, thats the main reason I like him, I think he gets a lot of unessesary heat for looking like Baptista. trying not to be biased I don't think his in ring skills are all that bad, sure he's no CM Punk or Chris Jericho but I think given some time, and some proper working matches he could work out very nicely.
Now before I hand over to everyone else to post, can I just note, this isn't a thread where you can openly BASH someone else for liking a wrestler that you dont, this is an appreciation thread for the weird, wonderful and strange, and on some levels, the bad.
Thanks! ;D
