Here's my bald DA Sabu, I thought the gold seemed a bit washed out on the original figure, I couldn't really decide what colour to go with so I just used orange because it was bold, I'm thinking I might do half Green, but im not sure if he ever wore Orange and Green (my two favourite colours) pants  really simple to make, whip off the hair piece, sand down the hair on top, sculpty at the back. few coats of paint on the pants and a hand switch with one of the Mick Foleys to give him his iconic pose! unfortunately the head doesnt turn enough to make it look as though he's looking upwards.... but yeah there we go -    |

I'm thinking about giving the whole figure a custom skin tone, so it'll be a bit darker I'd go over the scars again and make them less purple. the only time my scars are purple is when its really cold so I dunno why they gave him purple ones lol. and nope not yet Jables but I'll upload some soon I'm working on getting him a proper full length turban like he wore, with it draped over his one arm when thats done I'll upload some of the back of his head too  |

Good job on Sabu. I hadn't thought of swapping out his hand with Foley's - I may now have to do that myself. Good luck with a full body repaint - skin tones can be such a pain to look consistent. And please post more pics when you're able to!

The head seems to need a lot more sanding down, just looks really uneven from you pics, but nice paint job on the paints! Lets see a more close up pic of the head and maybe a shot from the back.

I got a really crappy angle when I was taking shots, my battery ran out on the first 2 which had the turban on, so I was turning it off then back on and snapping one pic before it died again managed to get 5 pics before it wouldn't turn back on again I wont be sanding it down anymore when I get better angled pic's you'll understand why lol thanks for all the messages though guys, MaskedSuperstarFan - I know, skin tones can be really hard I had to do a skin re-paint on a custom RVD a few days ago which I'll also put an update in here. I really am a perfectionist when it comes to matching skin tones all over |

Yeah the side of the head looks to be sanded and it looks bad. You may need to do a full body repaint and sculpt that head a little it looks like he has HUGE divits where the hair went or was glued.
Looking forward to seeing more shots though!

Yeah I see were you're coming from Lebowski, its hard to adjust to it, especially when he's not on mainstream tv or anything how could I made barbed wire? I'd certainly give it a shot and would it be ok if I posted some of my girlfriends work too? I gave her some help in parts but I dunno if theres a rule about posting other peoples work.... |

i bought a spool of thin metal wire from the hobby section at walmart to use for barbwire. I took 3 long strands and braided them. Then I took several small pieces and weaved them in between for the barbs. I used this for my barbwire ropes ring

Agree with your idea to change the skin tone. I think the colour of the scars is accurate though.
Sabu being bald underneath only causes to make the headscarf an even better removable accessory.
