I wish I had seen this about 40 minutes ago when I was at my TRU I would have checked it out. Oh well I will look on Tuesday.

I also saw that price for the Batcave and the three pack was $29.99. I know the Batmobile was a lower price, can't remember the exact price. It might have been $39.99.

Oh the pain! My Brother-in-law took my daughter to the Philadelphia Comic Con today to meet Tom Huddleston as her graduation present. So he sends me a text with two pics entitled "Check out my new wheels!" And the second is of him sitting in it waving. So I say did Elizabeth get a pic behind the wheel knowing it is my all time favorite car. And the reply " No she didn't think it was worth the $10." WHAT!? I echo the WHAT?!? wholeheartedly! I hate having my picture taken, but you're damned right I'd fork over 10 bucks to get a pic of me behind the wheel of the Batmobile! My coworker and his brother got to sit in the Batmobile

Not sure if every Toys R Us has this going, but the one in Phillipsburg, NJ has the Batcave & 6 inch Batman figure for $20.99. Quite a bargain! I picked another up today at the rt17 Paramus store. So thanks for the heads up.

I've got the surfer Batman displayed with Surfer Sting underneat my signed Adam West Life Magazine. I also have Batgirl MOC. I should open it since it can't get signed but i can't bring myself to. It's a fun little series of toys.

When are the next figures due out? For the Mattel '66 Batman line? They are done. There is a company called Figures Inc(?) that are producing old Mego styled figures. I am not sure when the next wave of those come out.

I don't understand why Mattel didn't utilize this line. 1966 Batman is a licensing gold mine

The '66 line was just so hit or miss. The figures sold well at Walmart but warmed hard at Toys R Us and Kmart. They pretty much released the "big names" from the line so I really dont see them going with another series. While it would be cool to have like King Tut, Commish Gordon, Egg Head and Alfred, they would all sadly rot on the shelves with a '66 series.
However, I wouldnt be surprised at all if they plug them into the Multiverse line here and there to get us a few more villains out. I can see a series with an Alex Ross Joker, '66 King Tut, Batman from Justice League and Superman in black solar suit

I don't understand why Mattel didn't utilize this line. 1966 Batman is a licensing gold mine There is going to be a Batman 1966 style animated movie coming out soon with Adam West and Burt Ward doing the voices of Batman and Robin. Maybe this will rekindle interest in the line. The last 2 Batman figures I purchased were the Adam West Batman 4" Multiverse figure and Funko Pop.
