NECA is doing 1/4 Scale versions those NECA's are pretty good but aren't as articulated as the Mattel's are going to be

These are display pieces, I cant imagine a great need for 25+ points of articulation. However it's NECA so i'm sure they'll be decently poseable.
However the Keaton batman doesn't need a lot of POA, the real life suit didn't exactly allow for a great deal of movement.

You realize the NECA figures are going to be 3x the size of the Mattel figures right?

I Wasn't sure what the 66 suit was made of. I do know the cape was satin

Damn when I saw that Keaton figure I thought it was 6 or 7 inches... Then I see the "1/4th scale" label... It's nice, as is the Hot Toys one, but would be nice to have a smaller scale option.

I wish NECA did a line for the 89 movie in 7 inch.

I'll reserve my judgments for the final figure, but that NECA Keaton Batman doesn't look like it holds a candle to the HT version. At the bigger scale, I would have hoped they'd be able to at least match HT's sculpt detail. The '66 two-pack sounds awesome. I'm guessing it's just a standard Batman in there? I'd put that on my wall in a second. Well, I'm part of the faction of Batman/comic book fans who absolutely loathe everything related to the old Batman TV series. I certainly appreciate the quality of this line, but I wouldn't want any part of it even as a gift. Meh. Everyone's got their issues, I guess. Some people don't like seeing anything out of Batman except grim, downtrodden "realistic" stories.

I'm not a big fan of NECA figures due to a couple of friends told me about them not being very poseable plus the fact that they are overpriced in the secondary market

It was more about sculpt. Recently, they've done better with their Street Fighter, TMNT, and a few other lines. All very articulated.

But if you are worried about the secondary market, then buy them before they become harder to find. WWE figure also get expensive on the secondary market.

The Batman 66 line was by far my favorite thing to come out of Toyfair. I can't wait to own all of them, along with that sweet Batmobile. I really hope that one of the Batman figures comes with a bomb accessory, to reenact the greatest scene in movie history
