Literally my most anticipated thing in, like, life.

Queens of the Stone Age. This album is going to kick all different kinds of ass. Also if Daft Punk actually does release an album this year...that's #2.
Other notable mentions include Paramore and Jimmy Eat World. Is Em coming out with an album this year? Throw that on there if so.

Stone Sour - House of Gold & Bones Part 2 Part 1 was excellent, I can only imagine what Corey Taylor has in store for part 2.
Killswitch Engage - TBA Tied with Stone Sour for my favorite band and very anticipated on hearing the first KSE album in years to feature Jesse Leach back as the vocalist.
Tool - TBA Tool always releases quality stuff, very interested in seeing if this is released in 2013.
Dave Grohl - Sound City Very excited for this. It has a lot of great talented people on it.

This thread makes me realize there is not a lot of music I like these days. A lot of these bands I have never heard of before. And a lot of them I never want to hear.
All I know I want is the new Hollywood Undead and the Lady Gaga ARTPOP which I learned about in this thread.

HU isn't too bad. I think they made a mistake kicking Deuce from the group though.

Foals - Holy Fire
First two songs they've released off it are both up there with my favorite tracks of 2012.

Well if we never heard from the again, I would have almost nothing to listen to any more! A cool thing about music is finding older bands. I got into Johnny Cash and Elvis this year. A few years ago I got into the Beatles. Lots of good old stuff out there.

The only album I've been anticipating since 2006 has been a new release from Tool.
I highly doubt we'll see one in 2013 though.
However, fingers are crossed!

A cool thing about music is finding older bands. I got into Johnny Cash and Elvis this year. A few years ago I got into the Beatles. Lots of good old stuff out there. What took so long? They just never grabbed my interest before. I had listened to some Elvis, and Johnny Cash's American 4-6 (for songs like Hurt and Ain't No Grave - when the Undertaker used it), but never older Johnny Cash. But now I have. There are other super popular bands and artists I've never really listened to much. The Rolling Stones and Led Zeppelin are two I've never listened to much. I love Pink Floyd's the Wall but haven't listened to much else. So there's a big collection of older stuff waiting to be heard when it strikes my fancy.

I personally am excited for the new Orgy record that should be coming out as well as The Misfits (Jerry Only's Punk Rawk Jamboree more like) live record. Other than that, I have no idea what else is coming out.
